Triple H, Lesnar, & Mark Henry are the most intimidating performers in the art right now. Obviously Lesnar is the most dangerous in combat, but Triple H is a better worker in terms of story telling which is the point at the end of the day. Also he did more of sacrificing his body in the ring whether there was a cage, a cell or a chamber surrounding it.
Sheamus is dangerous when he wrestles stiff. Strong as Batista, Tough as Stan Hansen. Allow me to paint a picture for you. Imagine Sheamus is cutting an in-ring promo where he starts toying with team Rhodes Scholars the way a giant black prison inmate scares the fluids out of a pair of small, white fresh meat inmates.
He proceeds to laugh sadistically & take Rhodes & Sandow on a ragdoll ride around the ring where he doesn't strong arm them entirely, but hand them a gritty, brawling personified beating. He's still a good guy, but with a maniacal edge to his character that enables him to brawl to the wall & still be a face.
Moving on, Cesaro & Barrett are two younger talents who are very BA if you will.

Brock in Lesnar! The "wow" pop he got when he came out at WM this year was great. He trained his ass off to get that beast look back! I have to agree Brock the Manbeast otherwise The american Dragon the kid can go once he is in the ring he becomes a machine

Daniel Bryan doesn't qualify. He's a nice guy out of the ring. I think the OP is going for guys who look their part all around in and out of the ring. As far as intimidation goes.

Ryback still sort of is at some times. I'd say Punk used to be until his last heel run started. Probably the most bad ass characters we've got going on are Triple H, Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton. Thought he came off looking pretty badass towards the end of his heel run with his feuds against The Rock & Taker.

But before that he was pretty much trying to back out of any fight, hence why I wouldn't consider him bad ass. But yeah, considering those two last feuds, he surely upped it.

Punk and Lesnar are the only current guys that come to mind. As far as having that "bad ass" attitude, the reason most guys don't is because the WWE has done away with gimmicks and everybody is just either a generic heel or face these days.

Henry and Lesnar for sure. Those two just ooze intimidation. Punk talks with conviction, but doesn't seem like a bad-ass at all. To a lesser extent, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Ryback sometimes. Barrett and Orton to a really small degree. Is that Hornswoggle in the top left? He's been working out!

I would agree, except Corey Graves REALLY needs to stop taking pictures like he's on the cover of playgirl.

There are only a few select men with the various skills and toughness it takes to be the UFC Heavyweight Champion. One of them also happens to be a WWE performer. This kind of makes it seem like you're saying to be tough you have to be in the UFC..?
