I dont know what it is but im really not feeling the love for Curtis Axel that seems to be in abundance on WFigs.
Im sure his wrestling skills are good, but for me he has no personality or gimmick or anything to offer that any other generic black trunks wrestler couldn't. I just find him rather boring which is really a shame - they could have at least given him a decent name or attire or something of interest. Yes he is Perfects son but to be honest he doesn't mean that much in the grand scheme of things.
I dont think he would stand a chance without Heyman, which really says something because CM Punk and Brock Lesnar both could. CM Punk is a master on the mic (and in the ring) - Lesnar is well a monster so he has that. Bare in mind i am not a Lesnar fan at all!
Well i guess im going to get flamed for it now. I just wanted to see if anyone else has the same thoughts or its just me?
Oh yes and someone please make him go have a shave or a trim along with Daniel Bryan (i am a DB fan by the way)

Axel sucks. He's a decent hand but he's no star, and he never will be. This is just a case of Triple H trying to force a success out of a pet project because his previous ones, Kharma and Sin Cara, were such flops.
Ultimately, I think the association will just damage Heyman's credibility, like when the NWO started letting no-good scrubs in.

meh, he's alright....just alright. nothing more nothing less. but he's only been doing this gimmick for a month, like everything else, it needs time. not everyone can hook you from the beginning. not to mention it's just tough to re-package a guy when he was a MONUMENTAL BOMB the first time around.

He's a stud in the ring when given the right opponent, but I haven't been impressed by much else. It's still early, though.

I don't want Axel to win the IC title on Sunday but it seems that it will happen. I'm hoping Wade Barrett retains and gets back into his feud with Fandango was hes clear to return.

I don't get it. He is SO unremarkable. I mean try of think of a way to describe his character, his style, heck even his look... You can't do it because he is so bland. Is he good in the ring? Sure, he moves well and has a decent technical offence but none of it is memorable. None of it makes you want to watch him, which is ultimately the most important thing. And what really sucks is how a partnership with Heyman could have done wonders for so many guys n the roster. Guys who had something, but just aren't the total package (I'm thinking Barrett, Rhodes, Kidd etc.)
Who wold have benefitted the most from this though? Cesaro. He has the look, he has a unique offensive, he's one of the best technical guys on the roster and yet he didn't stick. Why? Because his mic skills have lacked. He was a perfect example of a guy who would be the total package if he had a mouthpiece. I'm salivating at a Cesaro/Heyman pairing as I type this.
Instead, we get Heyman and uh... that guy.

He just looks too generic. Maybe he should switch to a singet similar to his fathers then we could take him more seriously.

WFigs: "Thank god they're finally pushing him".
WFigs 2 weeks later: "Ugh why did they ever push him, he sucks".

He's been very bland so far. He's had like 1 or 2 decent matches though. In time, we could see him develop, but for now, he isn't a must-see star.

His biggest problem is he is so monotone and emotionless when he speaks. He needs to get some acting lessons if anything.

The biggest problem is they are burying him (basically saying he's nobody and not to waste time on him) and making his matches secondary to other storylines.
They aren't making people care about him. He's just there to further along HHH's strokefest. Maybe if he wins the IC title then they may put some actual focus on him.
He's solid in the ring and Heyman is there to talk for him. Invest in him instead of making him the third wheel in all these different storylines.
