I'm an IPA nut, and a sucker for puns, so Great Lakes Brewery's Rye of the Tiger got me. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the Rye IPA's, I feel they are too bitter with no pleasant back end, but it's all right.
So what have you tried recently, and what are your favorite styles?

This will get locked.
Anyway, I'm a sucker for micro brews and local stuff. Great Lakes is ok. Their Christmas Ale is real good.
I took my dad to Rocky River Brewing Co. here in Ohio for Father's Day and had a couple. Good stuff.

Yuengling on my 21st birthday about a week ago. Can't say no to a free beer. I had to work at a comic convention last weekend and got trashed on accident last Saturday on yuenling. The problem when in a social situation is that if something is in front of me and I'm engaged in conversation I'll drink far more than I should. I had about 10 if I can remember correctly. And discussions/ debates about comic books were had until I finally got to sleep at about 4 am.

May 8th, 2009. My brother's wedding reception. It was a Budweiser. I remember it, but also that night was the last time I ingested any alcoholic beverage of any kind.

Good stuff. Really? I guess I can see why, but still, I'm an adult, all of us engaging in this conversation will likely be adults. Sorry, lock it up if it has to be...

No shame, I was only 23 when I had my first alcoholic drink. I don't drink often because of funds, but when I do, I try to make sure it's good stuff.

Not my choice. I'm just letting you know that alcohol topics never last.
I never had one until I was 23 either. I never drink to get drunk. Nor do I get drunk.
I usually have a couple on the patio at home with the gf on my days off or try some of the local breweries out here with dinner.
Fathead's Bumbleberry is delicious if you can get your hands on some. I'm not sure i it's just local here in NE Ohio but it's real good.

I'm from NC. The best local stuff I've had is Duck Rabbit brewery which is in Farmville. I too usually only drink about a six pack one night every month. Last weekend with me getting toasted was a rare exception.

Last beer I've had was probably just your standard Bud Light, Lol.
My favorite beer currently is probably Bug Light Platinum.
