Exactly...they have FAR too many wrestlers on the roster anyway that are not being used right or correctly...its a shame...there are not enough hours in the TV show to use them... gutted about Ryan...loved his gimmick and it seemed they just didnt know what to do with him...not really bothered about the rest

Shame they got let go, but at least they're not being misused or held back anymore. Something to be said for a little freedom.

Joey Ryan may be an internet darling but he honestly didn't add much to the product. Christian York was dreadful during this run and the two developmental talents aren't big losses. I like Taeler but really it's not hurting them. I mean in WWE, when they signed all these indy wrestlers, they didn't get a WWE CONTRACT, they got a developmental contract. They stil work for WWE, but it's technically not a WWE contract, it's a NXT contract technically. So, I think TNA should be doing the same thing with Gut Check, is for them to announce that they win a developmental contract instead of a TNA contract. It just sounds so much better cause that's where most of the winners go anyways. Everyone in NXT has a WWE contract...

Ok, you got there on explanation, but what I was trying to say is, yes they get a TNA contract, but can't they also say that they will be sent to OVW as well, instead of making it look like they're getting a contract to appear regularly on TNA. Other than Christian York and Wes Brisco, the rest were sent down to OVW and then people like Bradley, Shaw, randomly appeared on TNA for the Gut Check tournament.
