Is this figure really worth picking up? Is there a chance the hardcore title could be released with someone else? It just strikes me as odd that Kane would be the superstar it comes with. Seems like it should've come out with elite 17 mankind. I really want the belt and not so much the figure. I found one on eBay for $25 so for just $10 more I can have the Kane shipped.
What is your honest opinion?

I was going to order it last week, but I didn't because I have to shell out $800-$1000 to get my trucks a/c fixed. And to top it off my wife's car got rear ended at a traffic light Friday night so I have to pass for now. But I would have ordered it if not for this string of bad luck. And the only reason I didn't preorder it was I had other things preordered so I figured I'd hold off until it was in stock. lol

I just ordered mine yesterday, I hope the paint issues I've seen on here aren't the norm. It seems like a really nice figure (even though the biggest selling point was the title).

I agree, I really only want it for the hardcore title. Now I'm wondering if I should save myself $12 and buy the title on eBay. Worst case, a small paint job would fix the weird coloring. I'm guessing this is the final time we'll see Mattel make the Hardcore title. It isn't as detailed as I'd like it to look, but I'm a completion whore who needs EVERY title belt Mattel makes. lol |

Due to the belt being molded I doubt there will ever be a shiny version of it plus it's an amazing figure

Meh. Maybe buy it off Ringside and sell the figure to help costs? It's a pass for me though.

Long story short, want a mattel hardcore title? Want a 2002 era Kane? Then yay. Chances are if they ever get rereleased, it will be months/years Down The line

It's alright, I kinda get the feeling mattel are screwing us out of iconic and accurate looks by using lesser know tweaks to the attires.

The belt is gonna command at least $20 on the 2nd market, so why not get the figure too? You can always trade or sell it.
I think it looks much better in person. Glad I preordered it.
E17 Mankind couldn't come with socko and the Hardcore title, so they opted for socko. The belt does look great on him though.
