Beginner here, checked the FAQs and didnt find an answer for this. Should i buy the wooden tools for cutting clay etc or metal? Im struggling to find out what each tool is used for in these sets (the sets with a head on each end). Maybe someone can help me, thanks.

Well, I use metal ones and they work well for me. To be honest, I didn't even know they had wood ones. It allows me to dip them in water to use to help mold the clay sometimes. Just remember to have them perfectly dry when you're done, since they could rust (I'm not sure of the material, so I'm not 100% on that fact, but I'm not going to test it out). As for what each one does, I really have no clue. I've just found the bigger, cylindrical side works better for giving the definition in the hair, while the curved, flat side works well for rounding when sculpting flab. Someone else may have a better answer, but I've found how to use the tools through trial and error. But, since it's clay, if you screw up, you have a bit of time before it dries and are stuck.
