Plus the majority of head scans are really bad. E22 Rock looks like Maven. When Jakks put effort into their figs they absolutely blow ANYTHING Mattel has ever done away. The only thing that Mattel does better than Jakks is scale. I have roughly 2000 jakks figures and about 20 Mattels. Loose or MOC? If it's MOC wouldn't like to see the room it takes in your house haha. Loose.

mattel gets thumbs WAYYYYY up.
personally, i would rather have my figures be a little on the skinny side than have balloon biceps and a perfect 8 pack abs. i remember i was losing interest during the RA jakks days because of the lack of proper articulation and scale issues. then the DA line came out and i got excited for the new articulation but they lost me with the added height to the figure-you really couldnt mix the RA line with the DA line. id say one of my major issues with the jakks line was the enormous biceps that alot of the DA figures had.
i quit collecting for a few years and then a year and a half ago i saw a mattel elite CM Punk and i was hooked in.

This is a terrible example, I'd choose the Jakks Warrior any day. Warrior never had a tiny waist and atrophy in his limbs. Yea, plus the Jakks hair color/style is correct, and the boot tassels are the right color. ![:P](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/tongue.gif) The Mattel figure looks much more realistic and proportionate in my opinion.

I love the boot tassels they sculpted on, and yes the hairstyle is off on the Jakks version, but that does not instantly make it a better replica of the warrior.

I love my Mattel figures. Also Jakks was guilty of making poor choices at times. I missed out on their CS line so I got started with CD and those were terrible. They didn't bother sculpting detials like the Rocks boots, they only had to body molds to choose from, and they started adding guys to the line that were appearing in the later waves of their CS line. I thought the CD would be a great way to start what I missed out on, but then they went ahead and started adding guys like Buff Bagwell. If Jakks were smart they could have used the CD line to kind of relaunch their CS line. Plus... NO Ultimate Warrior in CD form, WTF? Like someone said it didn't help they were noticably larger than a DA. Very seldom I buy Mattel Basics, but standing on a shelf with Elites, they don't look too out of place.
So when Mattel came out I was happy to be getting a variety of Legends. I will agree that the attire choices were poor and that is one of my few grips. I also wish Mattel would use Matty Collector, RSC Exclusive, or a FB spot and give some of these guys a second go around. Like Camo Sarge, Red LOD, Barfoot Snuka, Elite Green M$M, etc. They already have the parts needed, so it would be an easy sale considering all the Reys that don't sell.
I also agree that maybe they should have waited to release certain things like the DM line, or the ESR. I think these would have seen much more success now then before. I also find it sad that we'll never get a second ESR, or accessories for the first one. Bill said it shouldn't have been a Big Lot's item, but that isn't our fault, that is the retailer's fault. A lot of us couldn't find one in stores because stores didn't carry them, You can't buy what a store doesn't have. Also these retailer's are the sameones who want every Transformer section to be a sea of yellow, and every Marvel item to be Iron Man and Spider-Man. What the hell do they know?
I will say that distribution has gotten better, for now.
These are just the small issues I have, otherwise it's a thumbs up for me.

Haha wow! It's like you've wrote a story. You made some valid points though to be fair. Ha, I know. I try not to ramble or go on too long, but then I just think of all these little things that if Mattel just fixed some of the ones that are quite simple, like correct Elbow Pads & Kneepads for specific Superstars, Paint Apps, Ring Sizes, etc & I can just talk & talk because I'm so passionate about their product. It's not perfect, but almost perfect. Few fixes here & there & they have the potential to be Perfect!

I am; they do a great job with attention to detail. I'll always seek out opportunities to order their product.
HOWEVER; I am NOT happy with their interaction on here. They pick and choose what they want to answer to the point they read messages you write them (MDT) and don't even respond. something that would literally take five seconds. I've asked them one question in three years on this site, couldn't even answer it. It was a simple question. To me, that's irritating. If I'm here, I'm obviously one of their most devoted customers. To me, that's as disrespectful as if I were to walk into a store, ask for help and have the employee simply look at me and walk away. That part of it, is inexcusable.

You're honestly complaining about them not spending time on here? So screw working on figures, answering questions for figures that aren't going to be released is more important?!?

I'll repeat myself. It takes five seconds to answer my damn question I asked them via PM. Yes, I'm complaining about it. It's not like I ask them every day, every week, or every month. I asked them one question and I've been a member here since 2011 and a lurker about two years longer then that. It was not "are you going to make so and so". It was a question about an upcoming release. Your reasoning: Grocery store worker can't tell me what aisle deodorant is in because he needs to go make sure the pastry display looks fresh. Instead he just stares at me and defiantly says nothing. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Every time I get a new elite figure, there another out there or coming up that I want. I'd say they're doing a damn good job! Love it! Just make bigger rings and playsets for the bigger rings and/or the ESR PLEASE!

Am i the only one that loves both companies and does their best to support both figure lines? Thumbs up to Mattel. but Jakks is good too. they deserve respect for their work.

MDT has absolutely no obligation to respond to the no-doubt thousands of (mostly dumb, i suspect) PMs they receive. Your sense of entitlement is absurd. The supermarket example doesn't work either... Employees at supermarkets are generally job-titled some variation of Customer Service Representative. Their job is customer service. The DESIGN TEAM's job is to design toys. They look on here at feedback and interact when they want to. They don't even have to do that, and spoiled brat attitudes might stop them from doing so. If they wasted their time answering everything constantly, the figures (their actual job) would never get made. "MDT, why does the new elite Fandango have a Big Show head?" "Sorry, I spent that day responding to 3000 PMs asking why we don't cancel Rumblers and use the money to make a Ted Arcidi, Outback Jack and Jim Powers Defining Moments three-pack for $5."

Jeez, MDT should never answer any more PMs. So many ungrateful members here.

I'm very happy with. Mattels wwe work! yea they might mess up occasionally with certain things but most the product is A+! I just don't understand how mattel can make monster high dolls and wwe figures and the monster high dolls cost basically the same as an elite wwe figure 12.99-21.99 but yet the monster high dolls come with more things and are -taller,they have more accessories like pocket books,Animals or something to do with the series or movie they are from ,a book, a stand, cloth clothing, real hair, glasses, and bigger packaging but yet it seems the monster high dolls have so much more than an elite and they are the same price.with elite we barely get cloth any more and get them bulky plastic jackets and shirts or one accessory and no stand ?they also make 2 packs of monster high dolls for 30$+ but yet we can't get a 2 pack of elites ? U don't get that And may be the wrong thread but what is the reasoning for one product getting kinda favored it seems more than the other ? When wwe product is constantly sold out at alot of places I kno they talk about budget alot but MH dolls come with more accessories and cloth clothing all the time and wwe figs seem to get short ended compared to them dolls ! Well I wandered there lol but I like mattels work anyhow!
