I like this idea a lot!! Of course, as usual, I would change it up a bit.
Monday 8 PM β Raw Have the Flagship show kick off the week. Itβs only right.
Monday 9 PM β Smackdown Second hour, second show.
Monday 10 PM β Main Event If the 3rd show was named SuperStars, then fine, put it in the second hour. Since its named Main Event, then put this in the Main Event. Make it the Championship hour and feature the Champions of the WWE from 10 β 11.
Wednesday 8 PM β Main Event Leave as is.
Friday 8 PM β Smackdown Since Iβd like Raw to start Monday nights, then have Smackdown start Friday nights.
Friday 9 PM β Raw Since there isnβt a 3rd hour on Fridays, have Raw start and end the week.

It sounds like a good idea. But I have to see it in order to judge it.

I like the idea, but wouldn't this work better if there was still an actual brand split?

I'm not sure I understand this concept. That's essentially the same as Raw every week, only they change the ring skirts. Changing the announce teams throughout the show is something TNA just experimented with for a little bit and it was kind of weird. I get that this is a one-off type of deal but I'd rather see a special show not be wasted on something that doesn't seem that out of the ordinary. Maybe I'm not fully understanding the theory behind the show. I just think WWE should come up with new ideas like Raw roulette or KOTR. So cool themes. When is the last time WWE even tried to introduce a new match or new concept? I think the Old School Raw really worked the first time around. So more of that and less of repackaging the same old stuff.

eh, not a fan of this instead of all these new "concepts" why not just make Smackdown important? why not give us better storylines throughout the show?

No. That would ruin the whole point and concept of RAW!

So the only thing that changes is the apron and commentary.. that.

eh, not a fan of this instead of all these new "concepts" why not just make Smackdown important? why not give us better storylines throughout the show? I honestly don't think we will ever see that or get back to that again. I think Vince has always seen that show as practice for Raw. I think that's why we see a lot of really good matches from Smackdown repeated on Raw. Smackdown is the litmus test show. Main Event is a similar format. Both are used as a way to plug Raw. I think Smackdown or Main Event doing well, is just a reflection of how much people are enjoying the A show. It does help when guys like Punk and Jericho show up on Smackdown, obviously, but all the energy goes into Raw. Until we go back to the more traditional brand split, I don't see that changing. Not something I'd say I like personally, but just the way I see it.

I love the idea as a one off deal, but I don't like the idea of doing it every week at all. That would grow stale very, very quickly.

What a horrible idea. Just imagining it is embarrassing. Random 1 min break at the top of the first hour followed by 'Welcomeeee to Smackdown!!!'
I can't believe they are honestly considering this. It's the same, but unnecessarily stupid.

2 Hours of RAW. 1 hour of NXT. Done. Ratings baby! This is actually a great idea IMO. Maybe try it once, then start doing it once every few months.
