What is the ing point of it? King Mo Rampage Jackson Tito Ortiz TNA has signed those 3 guys in the past year as a part of a deal with Bellator and Spike, but the thing is.....theyre not wrestlers, TNA is a wrestling company. Everyone knows about TNA releasing a load of people under "cost cutting" measures, well its obvious where the money is going, because im guessing Rampage and Ortiz aren't cheap. Why are TNA desperately trying to get money together for MMA guys who probably are going to wrestle 2/3 matches at most then leave, plus it's obvious with these MMA guys that wrestling isnt their top priority. TNA needs to sort themselves out, MMA guys aren't going to add anything to your company.

I hope that Tito is entered into the 5 on 5 MEM vs A&8's match and somehow Rampage and him pin each other and both are fired on the spot and then Hogan is fired... Then Brooke, then Wes Briscoe, then Garrett Bischoff, then Dixie. Only then will I be happy with TNA for ruining two "huge surprises" this summer.

Well, it's for crossover purposes. It makes sense. They cross promote for Bellator and TNA, moreso for TNA to pull in some MMA fans. It's not a bad idea honestly. The problem I have with it, and this may be unfounded, is that these guys get paid to stand around and do nothing. Now if it's part of an agreed upon contract between Spike, TNA, and Bellator and doesnt cut into the budget, then fine. But if they are doing roster cuts to make room for these guys then that's an issuee. In Tna's defense, it could be outta their control and something Spike wants done. King Mo...who cares. Ortiz and Jackson at least have some main stream appeal, but they need to get their asses in wrestling shape and not standing around looking tough shape.

I wouldn't be surprised if Spike is paying the salaries of Jackson & Ortiz, with the agreement being that TNA hypes their upcoming fight. TNA gets a small bit of publicity by having some known names on their show and Spike gets 2 hours a week for the next few months to hype a fight on their network.

I have no problem with Tito and Rampage. As has been said, it's a cross promotion with Bellator and they are there for a reason. Tito and Rampage are both great personalities and Tito is an accomplished amateur wrestler, while Rampage used to be a total baddass once upon a time. Think of them as celebrity guests that Spike and Bellator are helping to expense. This is a marketing expense for TNA. The Aces & 8's and MEM are already awful, adding these two guys doesn't hurt anything and maybe it will help draw new viewership.
Tito and Rampage are fighting in Bellator. They aren't in TNA to be the next new wave of talent. They are no different than Snooki or Floyd Mayweather. They should be viewed as such. Tito has appeared in TNA before, so this was no surprise when you look at what Spike is trying to do with the two brands. Everyone just relax. I know you are all begging for Crimson and Jesse Sorensen back but try and give me a break.

They don't sign the MMA guys, Spike and Bellator do. Bellator is suffering badly and TNA has been Spike's top program for a while now so they have to promote Bellator.

I hate the idea of Ortiz and Rampage taking up roster spots in TNA, but this mostly has to do with Spike wanting TNA to promote their fight. I think there's better ways to promote a fight other than take up TV time on another show to promote it. Seriously, most crowds will not care for these two. When Tito came out, barely anyone popped. It was like 98% of the crowd were sitting on their hands, either trying to figure out who the hell this guy is or not giving two craps about Ortiz being there. Shame, cause most of the show last night was good. First time in a long time I didn't fall asleep during the show. After seeing this, I'm kinda glad I decided to buy RAW tickets for Cleveland than TNA tickets, cause I had a bad feeling I was gonna be disappointed if I were to go to the TNA show. The only reason I'm tuning in next week is to see Daniels vs. Kazarian. Other than that, I'll be flipping channels/watching DeGrassi.

You've got to remember that it is Spike paying for all this. Spike TV I'm guessing is the life support of TNA and it's pretty obvious that this is a cheap attempt at getting some audience crossover between Bellator and Impact. I agree though, that segment with Ortiz was one of the cringest things I've seen in a long time. Hell this is wrestling and I expect things to fall a little flat sometimes, but a confused looking Ortiz revealing himself to a crowd who couldn't care any less whilst those aces and 8's goons looked on might just be one of the most painful wrestling segments I've ever watched. Next time Jerry Lawler announces a dance contest, I will remember just how much worse it could be lol.
Still, not denying TNA is run by a bunch of monkeys. In this one instance though, I'd say they can't be held accountable.

I don't care if Spike thinks TNA is benefiting or if Bellator is... all I know is us the fans are not.
TNA finally had some positive press with their August1stwarning videos, but in the long run Tito will do nothing to help TNA. Bad enough we have the Hogans walking around doing nothing. Now we got Mo, Jackson, & Ortiz as well.
In my opinion, TNA really needs to get back to basics. Tag Team wrestling. X Division stars. And Knockouts action. All the things that set it apart in the first place. But instead all three are taking a backseat so 100 more people might order a Bellator fight on PPV.
TNA should be out there signing former WWE stars like Benjamin, Carlito, & Morrison. Or other ROH/indy stars like Davey Richards, The Biscoe Brothers, or Mike Bennett. It should be a rat race with WWE to get the stars of tomorrow. But TNA's focusing it's attention in all the wrong areas.

Nobody gives a about any of these guys. As a MMA fan, I used to love Rampage. I thought he was a beast and always watched his fights. He sucks now and it's obvious because he's in a second rate MMA promotion like Bellator and also in a third rate wrestling company. If it wasn't for the wrestlers still putting on great matches(Aries/Styles), I would have stopped watching a long time ago.

This is the beginning of the end for TNA. The ratings have dwindled down to nothing, yet continue bringing in MMA people that nobody gives a crap about. Good for business. TNA is HORRIBLE when it comes to surprises. Remember the big thing they made about Taz joining the company?
TNA sucks and there is no doubt about it. They had something in 2006-8 but they brought in Hogan and tried to compete with WWE instead of keeping on with their formula.
