There's always alot of discussion about CM Punk's attires here on the Mattel board, and rightfully so. CM Punk has many different attire choices and is constantly debuting new looks. But I've noticed most of the discussions always bring up one topic.....with all of Punk's tattoos eating away at the budget, some attires aren't possible to be made or they have to cut back on someone's accessories.
This brings me to my 1st of my 2 part question.
Is it the amount of tattoos that Punk has or the many different colors that has to be used on his tattoos that cause his Elites to be more expensive to produce?
Which leads in to part 2 of my question.
Providing the answer to the first question is the many different colors used on his tattoos causes him to be more expensive, whats everyone's opinion on Mattel using the Basic tattoo color on the Elite Punks? I know there are probably some that would hate that, and thats cool, everyone has there opinion. I for one wouldn't mind it, providing the majority of his tattoos are included (with the exception of the copyrighted images). Especially if this would mean that it would allow for more Punk attire options or more accessories.

100% No. I'm content with The Punk Attires we've got in the Elite Line. Basics are BASIC for a reason, as are Elites ELITE for a reason.

If this were jakks and they realized they could get away with black and white tattoos on punk they've done it from day one.
I shutter to think what would be happening if jakks still had the license

id be more than happy to accept "black and white" tattoos on an elite if it meant i could get a cloth shirt and/or more accessories with the figure

I prefer them the way they are, I just wish he didn't wear black trunks so much. I like the made-up elite 20 colours, probably my favourite elite Punk.

Yeah giving him the black kickpads he mainly wears now would allow for more detailed tats.

I'd be okay with black and white tattoos if we get a t-shirt to cover it with.

Don't get me wrong I like the colored tattoos, but its a detail that I don't see as important as attire accuracy and certain accessories. Elite 16 and Elite 20 Punks were both great figures...but both of them including both the WWE Title and cloth shirts would have made them that much cooler. Or just give him an attire with black kick pads,I'd be okay with them too. This would work too. But for me personally, I prefer the attires with the matching kick pads over the black kick pads. The matching kick pads really makes his attires 'pop'. 100% No. I'm content with The Punk Attires we've got in the Elite Line. Basics are BASIC for a reason, as are Elites ELITE for a reason. I understand your point, and you are exactly right. Elites are better articulated and more detailed than basics. I'm just stating that I would be willing to accept 'basic' tattoo coloring if it meant that we would get the highly sought after SSLam Bret Hart attire, or if it meant we got Punk with WWE Title and entrance hoodie, or even WWE Title, hoodie, and shirt. Also, this is off topic, but during Comic Con someone mention how they hope at some point we got a Punk with his hoodie. Has anyone tried Elite 14 Cody Rhodes hoodie on Punk just to see how it looked?

Accessories don't bother me too much, I'd rather get colour tattoos instead.
