No way he's being punished for getting a concussion right? Sounds absurd. Why is he not in the WHC picture? He should have been inserted immediately. Is he booked against Lansgton at Summerslam? If so, I hope once that's over, he wins the title again very soon.
And why the f was Orton in the #1 contender triple threat match for the WHC when he already holds the briefcase for the WWE title? So lame

I have confidence that Dolph Ziggler is one opportunity that WWE isn't going to let go to waste. Good thing about it is he's young and too good to over look. His time as a lengthy champion will come. But him feuding with Big E and AJ seemed like a no brainer after the face turn. It just gives him something to do for even longer imo.

I made a post about this before. It's not a punishment. It's better for him to be doing this than holding the world title in the long run to be honest. He's trying to get himself over as a face, putting him in a story with Big E and AJ which actually makes sense as a storyline which has been building up for a while means fans can kinda invest themselves in. To me makes more sense than putting him in a hollow fued over the title.
Fans have no patience anymore, sticking a title on someone isn't the way to make them a main eventer, giving the fans reason to cheer and get behind the guy, that's what makes a true star in my opinion. Ziggler will be WWE champion within the next few years, I'm pretty confident, but until then just get behind him and enjoy what he's doing.

Because Ziggler's a baby face, so he needed to break away from his heel buddies. He should be kept away from the world title until he develops his character and skills and then gets a decent chase for the gold, possibly via a Rumble win next year.

They'll probably give the Rumble win to Punk, if he isn't facing Austin at Mania.

Ziggler and Kaitlyn vs Langston and AJ at Summerslam looked likely as of Raw, but not sure after Layla's turn and how that will play out. Ziggler definitely needs to define himself as a face before he goes back after the WHC again. I think between Rumble and Mania is when he'll be back in the title picture.

Let him get all this stuff with Big E and AJ out the way cos if he was to go back into the title scene right now you would only get AJ or Big E cost him the match again so let him Beat Big E at Summerslam move on and way from them both, Hope Del Rio drops the title to Christian, Christian turns Heel and you could set up for a Dolph Vs Christian feud.

If anything they are doing him a favor by not throwing him in the title picture. Let him build his face character and the crowds will love him all that much more when he does get back in the hunt. Building people up has been a really big problem latley, they just throw everything on guys (rumble wins, titles) like Sheamus and Rio instead of slowly making them build up to it and the crowds get bored.

Ziggler will be WWE champion within the next few years, I'm pretty confident, but until then just get behind him and enjoy what he's doing. I agree with this. It sucks that Dolph is out of the title hunt, but it's for the best. I like Dolph, but if he never won the title again, I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. The problem wiht Ziggler stems from WWE booking as a whole. WWE has neglected the midcard so badly that they've created the mindset that midcarder = jobber. So the only way someone like Ziggler can look strong is if he's shoved into the main event or into programs with main event talent. A guy gets pushed to the moon, has a big time feud with a top level guy, and then once that's over, they just flounder around. And once a guy has been in the main event, or competed for/held a World Title, it looks like a big step down when they're not. Instead of trying to get people over on all levels of the card, WWE will try to put anyone they're high on into the upper tier. As a result there are way too many "main eventers" on the roster. WWE needs to have more people who aren't quite at the main event level, but they're not jobbers either. Ziggler can be one of those guys for now. He's already been World Heavyweight Champion, so winning it again won't do anything for him. Right now he should stay in the midcard (and actually let him BE a midcarder, not running the midcard in squash matches to inflate his cred) until they're ready to push him to the real top prize, the WWE Championship.

I think this is a way to;
1. Let Ziggler find himself: He has only recently turned face for the first time, and is what, expected to immediately adapt to the best of his ability? He is young, with plenty of time. He is a fantastic talent in the ring, and his selling is top droor. It is so easy for him to draw sympathy from the crowd, to get us to root for him. This is a talent which is scarce in WWE today. Dolph seems to understand the art in losing, and the power of sympathy. I would just love for him to find a better personality. What he has now, it's just so easy to dislike, I feel. The constant use of "babe" and other words like that irk's me a little, but it's probably just me. His in-ring work more than makes up for that however, and I realise he needs to find himself.
2. Build Big E: Guy is very talented for his size, and to be fair, he put in a really solid performance against Sin Cara on Smackdown. Really impressive. Also, for Dolph to overcome a Challenger with the physical intimidation of a Big E. would do wonders for his aura, believeibilty, credibility etc. For a guy that says very little, he is good at speaking with his body, movements etc. He makes them mean a lot.
In the start/stop era of WWE, this is one of the best things Dolph needs right now. A little time to discover himself while staying relevant, granted, it's what he needed before his WHC win. To his credit, he got over as a heel, now he needs to experiment as a face. I'm actually a little excited for this, and am very excited to be on the journey that is Ziggler's career.

Are you suggesting the MITB winner should be punished for winning MITB by not being allowed other title shots until after cash-in?

Why would they punish him for getting a concussion?

Maybe things are going as they had planned from the beginning, except for the original plans included 5 weeks of title defenses before he lost. But seriously, it's as already has been said. With him turning face, he had to do a feud with AJ and Big E. She obviously wasn't going to just let him leave and be ok.

I think it's abit ridiculous that both of Ziggler's Championship reigns ended so soon. Hopefully he will be right back in the picture soon.
