this face turn has really worked out well for Ziggler his is all ready out of the title picture. Lost to big e on raw last night and is going to be in a meaning less mixed tag match at summerslam.

Someone on I Love cheese put this into a perspective that I agreed with:
Summerslam already has two huge matches. Dolph defeating Del Rio and getting revenge would get lost in the shuffle of Lesnar/Punk and Cena/Bryan. There's no need to waste such a big moment on an already-stacked card. The feel-good story of Dolph getting a legitimate, competitive rematch and winning can be saved for a later PPV, with the wait time making Dolph's revenge so much 'sweeter'.

I think being in an actual storyline like he is now is way more important than being in some shoehorned fued about a worthless title

It's good to see how he goes as a face right now. In-ring wise, he's one of my favourites at the moment, but agree that he should've held the WHC title a bit longer, but he's got plenty of time.

WWE needs to either go all the way with Ziggler's push and put him in the WWE Title scene, or actually put him in the midcard, as in the real midcard a.k.a. IC, U.S., Tag Title contention, and use what notoriety he already has to make the midcard divisions look like a bigger deal. Giving him the World Heavyweight Championship again will do nothing for him at this point.

I'm pretty confident they're building him up again, to give him more credibility when he does eventually go back into the title picture.

I honestly think that the WWE doesn't really care about Ziggler. They gave the fans a bit of what they wanted by giving him a title. But once he had it they jobbed him out until he lost it only a few weeks later.
They want to pick YOUR favorites, they don't want you picking THEIR favorites. That's why guys who rose because of the fans like Bret Hart and CM Punk are/were constantly trying to be replaced by big muscle bound freaks like Ryback and Lex Luger (although I do like Luger).

I think Ziggler is going to be around for many years and his time to shine on RAW will be in the next couple of years.

I wonder who will beat Del Rio for the title if not Dolph.
