Got a couple of older figures that I was on the hunt for, and one newer figure that I find to be great.
First I located myself Mason Ryan "Superstar 52" and the Battlepack of Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler at my local Kmart. Got the Battlepack on sale for 14.99.
I then located the new Basic Wade Barrett.
Overall it was a good weekend.
The Mason Ryan is a good simple figure. I believe it's definitely an upgrade over his initial release in that two pack with Randy Orton. Plus, I like the face scan a lot better.
The Dolph Ziggler is a favorite of mine. I don't know why, but I like the black trunks with the Pink riding on the side. Also, the face scan used here is the one I've always preferred over his dumb screaming/smiling scan that they more recently used on his elite figure.
Next, we have Zack Ryder. First and foremost, the stupid grin scan needs to never be used again. Outside of that, the color selection and detail to the trunks were great.
Lastly, we finally have an updated, Bearded Barrett. I love this figure. The scan captures his arrogant smirk and Mattel made sure to use a nice bright red color on his trunks. The only thing that would have made this figure perfect would have been the black arm sleeves he tends to wear often.
