I've never been aware of it until I recently got the Attitude Era DVD, if it was around today who on the current roster (minus Lesnar and Barrett aswell i guess) do you think would participate and win?

Daniel Bryan. The man's a badass with beard that could kick everyone else's ass.

In terms of takedown ability, Ziggler would do very well, if he could get his opponent down the match would probably be over
Del Rio has some experience as well, in actual MMA matches
I've always been curious how someone like Big Show would do in a fight like that

Wasn't Brawl 4 All boxing? What would takedown ability have to do with it??

I think Sheamus would do well, he seems like someone who got throw a real solid punch and someone that could take it too.

Why not let all the jobbers do it? That will get them something to do atleast.

Wasn't Brawl 4 All boxing? What would takedown ability have to do with it?? No it was a Frankenstein of sorts. They had takedowns as well. Each match consisted of three one-minute rounds. Whichever wrestler connected with the most punches per round scored 5 points. In addition, a "clean" takedown scored 5 points and a knockdown was worth 10. If a wrestler was knocked out (decided by an eight-count rather than a ten-count), the match ended. The matches were scored by ringside judges including Gorilla Monsoon.

Anybody could win it. I mean Bart Gunn won the first one, and that was with Dr. Death, Bradshaw, Marc Mero, Hardcore Holly & Steve Blackman in it, and they were all favorites. There could be someone on the roster that is a true to life badass that we don't even know about, because they didn't do it as a background.

Antonio Cesaro would stand a fair chance as well. Dude is a brick.

He had experience in those kind of toughman competitions.

Takers way too old, and I doubt he has nearly as much MMA training as his moveset might suggest
And what kind of background would Orton have that puts him up with Swagger and Ziggler?

Takedowns are irrelevant. In a straight shoot, excluding Lesnar and Barrett. Del Rio would win without much of a problem. I think Show would do well too as he has trained to box in the past. I think Del Rio still wins when you add Lesnar and Barrett. Lesnar does not like to be punched and Del Rio knows how to throw a punch and has a better MMA record than Lesnar.
