I noticed the other day I went to Target that they are not selling Elite anymore. They rearranged the toy section and only have basic figs and some other crap like rumblers, no pegs or space or Elites anymore, which I was fine with cuse I have a Walmart not to far away. Then I take a trip to Walmart today and.......no more Elites, not even pegs for them just basics. So is anyone else having problems with this? It scares me because I will have to go to the internet for all my elite needs now and it cant be good for Mattel if some stores are not ordering their Elite line.

Australia has been without elites at retail since series 8 You poor soul, I love being able to find hard to find figs at the store, makes it that much sweeter to own, now I might not be able to do that. Its bad enough I have no Kmart anywhere near me and they get so many damn nice exclusives that I want. |

No Targets haven't dropped Elites. Although with WalMart my local store never carries Elites except during the holiday season.
Sometimes when stores don't have product to put out they remove the tags so people won't be misled by a price on the tags if the wrong items are put there.

My Wal-Mart has no pegs for Elites and 12 basic pegs. And my Wal-Mart had carried Elites for years.

On my $5 elite thread the other day someone said they asked a friend who happens to work at Target and were told that some stores are clearing out certain toys and will no longer carry them. Maybe it'll happen at my local target. Maybe it won't. Here's hoping it's the latter.

Correct, my Walmart will not be carrying Elites 'til the next modular reset...I'm thinking Battle Packs are on their way out, as well.  |

My walmart just did the same thing. Went there today to find the pegs were gone. About a week ago a worker claimed to be ordering two cases when I brought i to her attention... But another worker did the same thing to me about 4 weeks ago. I can only assume at this point, walmarts might not be getting them at all soon.

I know my two local Targets still have the elites after the rearranging of the toys, and Walmart still has some old elites, but nothing new for a while, I think because they are building a new Super Walmart to replace it, and it opens this month, so they haven't restocked the figures in a while. Just all Reys, Cenas and Ortons.

That sucks.... On Long Island some Targets and Walmarts sell out of Elites as soon as they hit. They don't order more until the next series so they move clearance Star Wars plush garbage until the next elites. My local Target hasn't had basics since 27

Well the pegs at both stores are empty about 85 percent of the time - at least in my area. Well maybe this will be some kind of wake up call for Mattel - they've known about distribution issues for quite some time and they've gone unaddressed. Maybe two of the biggest retailers are finally fed up with the shortages and are eliminating the product - which would be bad for us, the consumers...
At least I won't have to keep wasting my time driving there, walking all the way to the back of the store, only to find empty pegs - again. But - I really don't want to depend on TRU for my Elites - much of the time, they're $22.99!
This is bad....

Welcome to the dawn of Internet only Toy shopping! The toy section is shrinking at all stores. TRU has combined its TRU and Baby R us together... I give it 5 years, an all toys will be available via the Internet.
To add to this, My target had Elite Orton ( beard version) and nothing else. My Walmarts haven't had Elite since 19.
