On Thanksgiving I weighed in at 200 pounds. I decided that I was going to lose weight. It wasn't easy and I still have a long way to go but I am happy with my results so far.

That's great! I am a Nutritionist and still work in the field of Personal Training. Looks like you're doing well with your weight loss, but what kind of training are you doing outside of your meal planning?

1st of all, great work. losing weight is damn hard and you've got great results.
2nd of all "long way to go"..you looked fine as is, bro! also, aren't you like 6'2''?
Personally I'm 6'2'' in the 215-220 range with a little bit of those K.O. love handles and gut [some of which is stretched out skin from being a former 330+ pound planet], though I am stronger than ever. I'm looking to do a cut from now to Halloween to 190-195 and that's the lowest I wanna go.
Anyway, Z, you're tall and lean. Lots of dudes would kill your body type. Good work.

I appericate it! I remember PM'ing you when I was starting my journey. It feels good to be on my way! Dude, you honestly don't need to lose weight, you look like your at a healthy weight! Maybe getting toned is what your after? Thanks man, I'm looking to loose about 5 more pounds maybe get down to 170 and than put on some muscle mass. That's great! I am a Nutritionist and still work in the field of Personal Training. Looks like you're doing well with your weight loss, but what kind of training are you doing outside of your meal planning? Thanks, as far as training goes I'm going to the gym Monday thru Friday and i do weight training. When I'm done my weight training I do 15 min of cardio or I run a mile on the treadmill depending on what I'm in the mood for. I could post my routine if anyone is interested. As far as eating goes I've cut out all fast food and sodas as well as candy and I'm sticking to a strict 3 meals a day and one post workout snack.

I found that Weight Watchers is really great if you can stick to it. Last year I lost 30 pounds on it. Unfortunately I started working a normal job and came home to my mom's cooking (a lot of pasta). So I went off the diet. I recently started to get into weight lifting a little. I don't lift heavy (generally 20-40 pounds) but I try to go fast and intense. I'm already seeing some muscle developing.

Consider yourself lucky to be where you're at. I used to weigh 325 pounds and now weigh 190. I just can't lose anymore, so I have excess, I'm 6'0 is that a normal weight?

I'm proud of all you guys! Only you can change your lives for the better, glad to see you are doing it!
I've been pretty frustrated wit my body for a while. I've got a torn labrum & broken capsule in my right shoulder & have to have it operated onto fix it. But with all the health care laws in limbo, I have to wait until after the first of the year. I was once in great shape, but the injury has broken my body down pretty badly.
I'm going against doctors orders, but I've been training for about a month now for my first 5K run. I couldn't just sit at home any longer doing nothing, so this was the only alternative to being in a gym. I've got myself conditioned pretty well for a mile & a half, & I've still got a full month before the race. At least this gives me a goal to look forward too, it's for a great cause (charity), & maybe I'll lose a little weight in the process. I was always extremely thin, but not being able to work out just filled me out, & I don't like that too much haha.
Good luck to everyone on your goals! Keep working hard & keep us posted!

But then again everyone carries weight differently. But you are by no means overweight. Congrats on your loss btw. Reminds me of me in terms of starting point and (desired) ending point.

Good luck and well done to everybody who has lost weight and is getting into the right shape, I'm having a heck of fun putting on muscle and working out just seems so rewarding since my weight loss I don't have a before picture anywhere, but I might have one from Orlando.

Great job. Its always motivational to see people making progress in their fitness goals. Just know the more you advance, the harder it becomes. Do you have any specific goals or were you just looking to slim down some?
I was never overweight but the opposite. I was really skinny and always looked up to the size wrestlers had when I was a kid which got me into bodybuilding. Ive come a long way myself but will never be satisfied and prefer to be that way. Always strive to be better even when youre at your best is my motto.

Very much into the lifestyle but still never competed. I keep telling myself "next year" but end up not doing it so I can continue to improve. I just want to be at my best for my first show. Been hitting the gym hard for about 8 years now but didnt have my diet factored in until about 2 years ago. Thats when the real results start coming in. Diet is 75% of it all. I dont have a problem giving anyone advice if they need it. Feel free to message me.
