Hey guys, when you paint the torso, arms, etc of a figure to match the skintone of a head swap, what kind of acrylic paint do you use? Matte of glossy? I'm afraid the glossy will make them shine like Jakks figures. I've used that Walmart brand Apple Barrel. What color would be good to pick up for flesh tone? Thanks

This is definitely one of those questions with a million possible answers, haha. From my experience, the best route I use is mixing your own flesh tone with a combination of pure white, yellow and red. I generally try to have 1 of the paints be glossy and the other 2 flat / matte, this will give the paint SOME shine, but not something you could shave in. Mattel flesh tones are difficult because of the finish, and it may take some time of messing with the combinations, depending on the figure you are working on, to get the right look / sheen. Hope that's of some help brother!

Yeah kind of what the person above said. I bought a "Golden Brown" Acrylic paint color from my Walmart. Mixed that with a drop or 2 "Yellow" Acrylic paint (Testor's). I usually spray a coat of Krylon matte Finish
