- Wade Barrett is the first ever English-born World Heavyweight Champion, like everyone seems to forget that but Barrett has made history by becoming champion since the first Englishman to become World Heavyweight Champion in WWE history but Daniel Bryan obviously wants his rematch and he won't wait until Extreme Rules to get his rematch but instead gets it this Friday, why do I have the feeling Orton will either interfere or Orton will cost Bryan the match this Friday
- Triple H vs CM Punk at Extreme Rules in Punk's hometown of Chicago, Triple H is going to be in hostile territory, he is going to be in enemy territory that's for sure because Triple H is going to be booed like there is no tomorrow while Punk is going to be the hometown hero Chicago's favorite son comes home no doubt he would be cheered and I wonder what kind of stipulation match will Punk and Triple H have at Extreme Rules? Triple H vs CM Punk I can see it either being a Last Man Standing Match or an I Quit Match
- Jericho vs Cena I can easily see it happening at Extreme Rules but as for what type of match it will end up being? I see it being Jericho/Cena in an Extreme Rules Match
- Brodus Clay costing Big Show the match against Del Rio, almost a guarantee that Show and Clay will go at it either on a RAW episode or if not then it will happen at Extreme Rules for sure
- As for Rock when he does come back I can see him coming back at RAW 1000 to build up his WWE Championship match with whoever the WWE Champion happens to be at that time
- I WONDER WHERE IS BROCK!!!!!! BROCK LESNAR I WAS HOPING HE WOULD SHOW UP BUT EITHER BROCK WILL SHOW UP EITHER AFTER EXTREME RULES OR HE WILL SHOW UP BY SUMMERSLAM BUT I HOPE HE SHOWS UP AND SOON!!!!!!

Alright, Raw SuperShow! Lets go! A solid opening promo and it was probably the right way to go with The Rock making an appearance. I'll take a guess and say he goes for a title shot at Summerslam. Christian and Zack Ryder beating Cody Rhodes and Kane in the opening contest was solid. EVE TORRES IS A HOESKI! Kane might have figured out she has some herpes or something, too. Solid promo from Dolph and a decent match between Sheamus and Ziggler with Dolph hitting a low blow for the disqualification finish. I'm anticipating a feud between the two at least into Extreme Rules now between the promo and the match finish. Beth Phoenix taking some time off, huh? Eh, I guess it'll give some other divas a chance to step up and lose to Kharma. Solid match up between CM Punk and The Miz and a nice set up after the match for a Triple H vs CM Punk match in Chicago... I anticipate Punk beating the holy hell out of The Game to send him away for a while. A good promo between Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan, introducing the new World Heavyweight Champion here. A match on Smackdown sounds good, but I fully anticipate Randy Orton getting involved on it. Decent match between Alberto Del Rio and Big Show with the former winning, thanks to Brodus Clay. A feud between Clay and Show shall be interesting. A good promo to end the show with John Cena calling for The Rock, as it looked like it was a possible set up for Brock Lesnar's return... Chris Jericho, however, was rather surprising. I don't know entirely how I feel about these two feuding again, but I will give you the opportunity with it - especially with Jericho having a new purpose. A pretty good post-WrestleMania show, Kev.

Raw Supershow, let's go. The Rock coming out one last time to make an appearance, hopefully he will come back to go after the WWE Championship, whether it's CM Punk or Triple H. It looks like Triple H and CM Punk will fight for the title one last time at Extreme Rules in Punk's hometown. Great call by Zack calling Eve a Hoeski, Like AJ Said I wonder if Kane's figured out if she has herpes. I'm glad to see Wade Barrett as World Heavyweight Champion, maybe he could be a face or stay a heel for a while, I'm surprised to see John Cena and Chris Jericho feud, obviously they both lost their matches at WrestleMania to two legends in The Rock and The Undertaker. But what a match these two will have at Extreme Rules. I'm wondering if wel'l see Brock Lesnar too. Anyway good show, ohhh my cheap plug to WWF 1994 Diary as well,

April 4th, 2012 | Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida- An intro video set to “Welcome Home” by Coheed and Cambria opens the premiere episode of NXT. The announce team of William Regal, Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton introduce the show as the camera pans around the beautiful Full Sail University.
- Familiar theme music hits as WWE Hall of Famer and NXT General Manager Dusty Rhodes comes down to the ring to a nice hand from the NXT Universe. He gets in the ring and welcomes everyone to the first edition of NXT from Full Sail University. Dusty says that in this very ring people will witness the future of this business. He promises that NXT will be one of the best hours of television that you will see every week. He says that’s all he wanted to come out and say because he wants to get right into the action.
- Kassius Ohno def. Alex Riley >> William Regal and the announce team do a good job introducing the viewers to Kassius Ohno. They describe him as a vicious man who is all about getting the knockout to win his matches. Alex Riley took advantage of the fact that he got to work a match longer than two minutes as he impressed, however, Ohno was in control throughout. He polished off Riley with a huge roaring elbow.
- The crowd boos as Kassius Ohno picks up the victory. He grabs a microphone and tells the crowd to shut up. He calls himself that young knockout kid and says that when Superstars see Kassius, they say oh no.
- Two devious looking men are shown in a promo that states they are the Ascension and they’ll be in action tonight.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A short video plays of a man sitting in a big recliner and wearing a blue robe. He has a beard and begins to speak about being the intellectual savior of the unwashed masses. Quick highlights are shown of this man in the ring during his time in FCW. He introduces himself as Damien Sandow and he will make his NXT debut next week.
- The Ascension def. Ezekiel Jackson and Percy Watson >> Regular WWE Superstars like Alex Riley and Ezekiel Jackson will appear on NXT from time to time, and tonight an interesting team was formed. Percy Watson, also known as “Showtime” was the entertainer, while Jackson was the serious man of their team. They worked pretty well together, but the story here was the Ascension. Conor O’Brian and Rick Viktor were a dominant force at times and showed great chemistry. They won after hitting Watson with the Downcast.
- The tag team of the Ascension screamed as they picked up their first victory on NXT and they look like a team to be reckoned with for sure.
- Briley Pierce is standing by with Derrick Bateman and his girlfriend, Kaitlyn. Briley asks Derrick for his thoughts about NXT. Bateman says that he couldn’t be more excited about this new version of NXT. He had his highs and lows on NXT Redemption, but now it’s about opportunity and he promises to not let this one go to waste.
- The Raw Rebound is shown, focusing on Chris Jericho’s challenge to John Cena and Triple H’s challenge to CM Punk.
- A graphic is shown announcing that tonight’s main event will pit the internet darling Seth Rollins against the highly touted Brad Maddox!
- ===Commercial Break===
- The “Anti-Diva” Paige is the focus of the next promo shown. We see Paige telling the camera that she is not what your typical Diva is. She’s not tan and she doesn’t wear bright colors, but she will be a future Divas Champion and he will change the way the WWE Universe looks at Divas.
- The NXT Universe is in for a great surprise as Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat comes out to a huge ovation. He gets in the ring and says that he is proud to be a part of the premiere of NXT on ION Television. He knows that it is about the future of this business though, so he’s here to introduce the NXT Universe to his son, Richie Steamboat! Richie comes out to a good pop from the crowd, hugs his dad and prepares for his upcoming match.
- Richie Steamboat def. Mike Dalton >> Mike Dalton got a good opportunity to showcase his skills as this was a competitive contest, however, it was clear that this was to get Richie Steamboat a victory on this first show. Dalton missed a spinning heel kick, which allowed Steamboat to his some of his dad’s signature arm drags. Steamboat put down Dalton with the Sling Blade.
- Richie Steamboat celebrates his victory along with the NXT Universe as they cheer for him. The cameras cut backstage where Briley Pierce was shown once again. Briley is with Bo Dallas, and he asks him what NXT on ION Television means to him. Dallas states that he’s never been more excited at an opportunity. He says that as the son of former WWE Superstar IRS, he knows what it takes to be a star in the WWE and he promises that he will make it to the top of NXT.
- Another graphic is shown, because the main event pitting Seth Rollins and Brad Maddox against each other is up next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo is shown of a man in camouflage stalking an animal. He has long black hair and tells the camera that he is the hunter in NXT and the roster is his prey. Highlights of this man’s work in FCW are shown as he is introduced as Leo Kruger.
- Dusty Rhodes is shown in his General Manager office when a knock is heard. In steps Sofia Cortez, formerly of Tough Enough fame, and she wants to know when the first Divas match in NXT will take place. Dusty says that she’s in luck because next week on NXT, the first Divas match will happen as Paige will go one on one with Audrey Marie! Sofia is not happy that she’s not involved, but Dusty promises her that she will get her chance.
- Seth Rollins def. Brad Maddox >> As Seth Rollins and Brad Maddox made their way to the ring, short highlight reels were shown of them to get the audience at home more aware of them. The main event was a fast paced back and forth contest that allowed both guys to show off their skills. Both of these guys are former FCW 15 Champions and this match went about twelve minutes. Seth Rollins was able to score the victory after hitting Maddox with the Blackout.
- The NXT Universe gets to their feet to celebrate Seth Rollins’ victory in the first main event in the history of NXT on ION Television. William Regal states that he is a big fan of Seth Rollins and is excited to see what’s next on NXT.

Kev - Raw and NXT thoughts...
For a normal episode of Raw I would say this would have been a good Raw for a night after Mania Raw I would have been a little let down.
Rocks promo was fine sets the stage for when he comes back.
Ziggler after beating Foley has moved on to Sheamus an established member of the current roster which is what should happen.
HHH against Punk at the PPV should be crazy and I would actually go with HHH taking the title from Punk in his hometown the heat would be crazy!!!
The final segment was built around Cena and his actions at the end of the match with Rock, which is a good tease.
Cena and Jericho has been done many times. Jericho came in hot but he has failed at everything he's done on his return plus Cenas not really hot either after losing to Kane at Rumble and now Rock.
Not bad episode of Raw...
Debut of NXT was good enjoyed it, you gave the spotlight to Kassius, Rollins, Steamboat, Ascension, Sandow, Dallas all good choices. Went straight with Rick Victor over Cameron. I seen something in KC
Overall nice episode of NXT which I look forward to following.

April 6th, 2012 | Amway Center in Orlando, Florida- The weekly intro and pyro display are shown before the camera pans around the arena. Michael Cole, Josh Matthews and Booker T introduce the show. Tonight, Wade Barrett defends his newly won World Heavyweight Championship against the former Champion, Daniel Bryan! Also, the Big Show has promised to address what happened this past Monday when Brodus Clay attacked him!
- An odd theme song plays and it looks like along with running both Raw and Smackdown, John Laurinaitis now has theme music. He walks down to the ring, followed closely by David Otunga. He enters the ring and introduces him as always before saying that he has promised a big episode of Smackdown tonight. Not only will there be a World Heavyweight Title match, but he has an announcement to make as promised. Before he gets to that though, he takes a moment to mention the six men who fought for him at WrestleMania and he says that he did promise to reward them for their efforts. He claims to be in debt to those guys and will reward them over time, but the first reward is ready to be handed out. This Monday night on Raw, David Otunga will be granted a United States Championship match. Otunga thanks Laurinaitis, who now goes to move on to the announcement. He says that it concerns the World Heavyweight Title.
- This brings out the Champion, Wade Barrett. As he gets in the ring and grabs a microphone, he says that anything concerning the World Heavyweight Title concerns him. John Laurinaitis says that he understands and as General Manager of both Raw and Smackdown, he has to do things that are fair for the WWE Universe. Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble this year and earned a World Title shot at WrestleMania. Wade Barrett wound up winning the match, but Orton was never pinned, nor did he submit. John Laurinaitis knows what the people want and that is for Randy Orton to get a shot at the World Title. Wade Barrett doesn’t like the sound of this, but Laurinaitis continues. He says that at Extreme Rules, Randy Orton will get a one on one World Heavyweight Title shot against whoever wins tonight’s main event. Barrett is beside himself and furious at this decision. Laurinaitis says that he is fair, so if Barrett is wrestling tonight, so will Orton. Tonight, Randy Orton will go one on one with the Intercontinental Champion, Cody Rhodes! The crowd loves the sound of these matches as the show cuts away.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, Daniel Bryan is shown in his locker room complaining to AJ Lee about having to defend his belt against Randy Orton shortly after he wins it back. AJ suggests that what John Laurinaitis did was fair, and Bryan shoots her a dirty look. He seems to realize something as he tells her that he won the World Title before she came along, and maybe his focus has been elsewhere, causing him to lose the belt. AJ gets a worried look and says that he only lost the belt because he was put in an unfair match and is sure he’ll win it back tonight. Bryan doesn’t seem convinced but he drops the subject.
- Eight Man Tag Team Match: The Prime Time Players, Primo & Epico w/ Rosa Mendes def. WWE Tag Team Champions AirBoom & The Usos >> Pretty much the top four tag teams in the WWE thrown together into a big eight man tag to open Smackdown. The Prime Time Players continue to perform with a chip on their shoulder as they were brash throughout the match. It led to Darren Young pinning one of the Champions after a Gutcheck on Evan Bourne.
- The Prime Time Players hug in the ring as Primo and Epico enter and shove them. Primo shouts that the Tag Team Titles are going to belong to them. They continue to argue until Darren Young and Epico are hit with superkicks from The Usos. Titus O’Neil and Primo now brawl with the Usos until Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne springboard onto them and join in. All hell has broken loose within the tag team division! Security and officials break up the ruckus.
- A graphic is shown on screen, showing the Tale of the Tape for tonight’s World Heavyweight Title match between Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A video plays with a lot of colors and funk style song playing in the background. It then shows what looks like a club and the video focuses on two girls dancing before a man with an afro jumps in between them and dancing. The video says that the “Funkiest Man on the Planet is coming to Smackdown” before the name Xavier Woods flashes on screen.
- Sin Cara def. Hunico w/ Camacho >> Sin Cara came back from injury a few weeks ago and has shown improvement in the ring. The moves are crisper and the crowd is getting behind him. He played a big role in the twelve man tag team match, but Hunico was looking to stop his forward momentum. These two continue to have good chemistry, but Sin Cara won after forcing Hunico to submit to the fujiwara armbar.
- Following the match, Sin Cara gets his arm raised by the referee as the WWE Universe cheers for him. Brodus Clay’s theme hits to the surprise of everyone as he walks down to the ring. He enters and goes after Sin Cara, but Cara ducks and nails him. Sin Cara fights hard, but Clay’s strength overcomes Cara and he drops him with the Fall of Humanity. Clay grabs a microphone and shouts that Big Show doesn’t have to call him out tonight, because he’s calling him out first.
- Big Show answers quickly as the “World’s Largest Athlete” walks down to the ring. As he’s walking, Brodus Clay is still on the microphone and says that the reason he beat him up on Raw is because at the Royal Rumble and at WrestleMania, Show decided to try and show his dominance against Clay and he doesn’t appreciate that. Clay shouts that he’s a main event player and he will not be intimidated by Big Show. Show gets in the ring and doesn’t say anything, but spears Clay to the mat. The two men trade shots until they’re back to their feet and Show clotheslines Clay out of the ring. Clay holds his jaw and backs up the ramp as it is clear this is far from over.
- John Laurinaitis is shown in his office with David Otunga and Theodore Long. John says that while he while he won control of Smackdown, Teddy Long is still employed, so he’s going to make Teddy his personal assistant. Theodore Long looks extremely depressed, but then Aksana enters. She looks sad for Teddy but John says that she will no longer get a free ride on Smackdown because he’s in charge and she has to earn her keep around here. Tonight, she will go one on one with the Divas Champion, Kharma! Aksana and Teddy both look scared at this announcement.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for Raw this Monday is shown. Just eight days after retaining his belt against Kane at WrestleMania, Zack Ryder will defend his United States Title against John Laurinaitis’ legal advisor, David Otunga. A WWE Tag Team Title match has been announced after The Prime Time Players pinned a member of AirBoom, they’ll get another title shot. Also, John Cena and Chris Jericho will both be in the building, as well as both CM Punk and Triple H!
- Non-Title Match: Randy Orton def. Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes >> A fantastic way to close the first hour of Smackdown. Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton once again have an awesome match, this time with Christian at ringside on commentary. Christian spoke about how he gave Cody his due for besting him at WrestleMania, but he did pin him on Raw and wants a rematch. Rhodes was actually in control for a good portion of the match, but Orton fought back to the driver’s seat. He nailed a DDT and backbreaker before catching Cody with an RKO from out of nowhere to end it.
- Randy Orton does his signature pose in the middle of the ring before grabbing a microphone. He keeps it short and sweet by saying that tonight was just a preview of what will happen at Extreme Rules. He will beat either Daniel Bryan or Wade Barrett and he will once again be on top of Smackdown.
- A graphic is shown for the main event that Randy Orton just spoke about, between Daniel Bryan and Wade Barrett.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, Matt Striker is standing by with Ted Dibiase. He says that Ted asked for this time and wants to hear what he has to say. Ted says that he competed for Theodore Long at WrestleMania but was unfortunately unable to get the job done. He did this because, not only is he a friend and fan of Long, but because he dislikes John Laurinaitis as a leader and feels that Smackdown is going to go down the drain with Johnny at the helm. He’s going to beat one of John Laurinaitis’ goons tonight when he puts down Drew McIntyre!
- Non-Title Divas Match: Divas Champion Kharma def. Aksana >> It was clear that this was done to hurt Theodore Long due to his feelings for Aksana. She did not get in much offense and the Divas Champion continued to show her dominance as she won a short match with the Implant Buster.
- Kharma grabbed her Divas Championship and raised it in the air as the WWE Universe gave her a mixed reaction. Who can stop this monster of a Diva?
- Daniel Bryan is shown in the back once again, as he’s watching the World Heavyweight Title match from WrestleMania to help scout Wade Barrett. He turns to AJ Lee and says that he might have been out of line earlier when he blamed her for losing the belt. He realizes that she can be an asset. He says that he wants her to prove just how much she loves him. She reluctantly asks how and Bryan goes to tell her in secret as the camera doesn’t catch the words.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo is shown for Extreme Rules, live on Pay-Per-View April 29th, 2012!
- Matt Striker is standing by with Sheamus. He asks the “Celtic Warrior” for his thoughts on Dolph Ziggler escaping their match last week by getting himself disqualified. Sheamus says that it was a cowardly thing to do. He expected more from someone who just defeated Mick Foley in a hardcore match, but he should’ve known better. He tells Dolph Ziggler that this is far from over.
- Drew McIntyre def. Ted Dibiase >> A surprising result as Ted Dibiase has been red hot over the past few months. He seemed geared up to win and hit most of his usual offensive maneuvers, but that all came to a screeching halt. Dibiase looked to be on the verge of victory when Alberto Del Rio walked down to the ring for some reason. This distraction allowed McIntyre to turn Dibiase around and hit the Future Shock.
- After the match, Alberto Del Rio enters the ring and puts the boots to Ted Dibiase along with Drew McIntyre. McIntyre picks up Dibiase and Del Rio nails him with a stiff kick to the head. The camera zooms in as Del Rio gets close to Ted’s face and says something along the lines of “Mr. Laurinaitis sends his regards.” It seems like John Laurinaitis didn’t take too kindly to Ted Dibiase’s words earlier.
- Wade Barrett is shown walking towards the arena because the main event is next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A quick highlight video is shown of the first edition of NXT on ION Television this past Wednesday, with the end reminding everyone to watch next week!
- World Heavyweight Championship: Wade Barrett [c] def. Daniel Bryan w/ AJ Lee >> A great main event to close out Smackdown tonight. The WWE Universe was split as they weren’t sure which guy to go for due to both men being heels. Daniel Bryan worked Wade Barrett’s arm throughout and even locked in the LeBelle Lock at one point, but Barrett reached the ropes. As Barrett got up, Bryan charged at him but Barrett caught him with the Winds of Change for a near fall. Bryan was picked up and pulled Barrett into a small package for a near fall. The camera caught Bryan wink at AJ as if to signal her. Bryan went to send Barrett off the ropes, but Wade reversed it. AJ looked away and reached into the ring to trip Barrett, but caught Bryan instead. Bryan turned and yelled at her, which allowed Barrett to sneak up and hit the Wasteland for the win.
- Wade Barrett snatched his World Title from the timekeeper as AJ Lee checked on Daniel Bryan. Wade left up the ramp as the announcers mention how the next chapter in the storied rivalry between Wade Barrett and Randy Orton will be written at Extreme Rules for the World Title in a Steel Cage!

A solid opening promo here for Smackdown and Orton getting a title shot is a good call. I'm still anticipating a triple threat rematch unless you pull something else out. Clear tension between Bryan and AJ Lee, I expect somebody will step up to defend AJ and lead to the break up eventually. Maybe that will happen instead of the triple threat? A good eight man tag team match with The Prime Time Players, Primo and Epico getting the win. I suspect with the post match stuff, we will get a tag turmoil match at Extreme Rules? Maybe. Sin Cara vs Hunico, just a snooze match really. All it did was set up for the progression between Big Show and Brodus Clay, which is an interesting feud. It should give Brodus a nice rub, however, in the end. Not sure how far he can go though. Anyway, moving forward, Randy Orton beating Cody Rhodes was for the best in a good contest between the two. Orton clearly needed the win over him with a World Title shot at Extreme Rules. Obvious victory here for Diva's Champion Kharma over Aksana. A good question too as to who can possibly stop her... because I don't even know. Sheamus versus Dolph Ziggler at Extreme Rules seems inevitable. Drew McIntyre beating Ted DiBiase is an interesting call as neither man really seems to be that important. Alberto Del Rio getting involved is interesting, as well as the beat down along with McIntyre... I wonder where this is going. Is DiBiase a total outsider in John Laurinaitis' reign of power? Well, obviously, but... you get what I mean. Wade Barrett beating daniel Bryan in the main event is certainly surprising to me as I was expecting a triple threat match between those two and Orton... but it looks like you are going straight up for Barrett vs Orton, which I can deal with. I just wonder where Bryan goes from here. A good Smackdown show.

WWE WrestleMania XXVIII: Sunday 1st April 2012...Interesting decision to have the triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship open up the show, but it is a stacked show after all. A decent match, sounds much better than the real life product of what happened at this show. I'm not too sure about Wade Barrett winning the World Heavyweight Championship since he wasn't really doing anything two months ago, but nevertheless, a new face as champion is a good move. I was hoping for a match with Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton though, maybe one day that could be a solid WrestleMania upper card match. It seemed to go slightly short, I thought. Up next, the WWE Tag Team Championship...should have been reduced to the WrestleMania Pre-Show. What a shame that this match went five minutes and had to follow a strong opening contest. Nonetheless, I see a rematch taking place at the next big event. Air Boom retaining the titles against the Prime Time Players. Don't rush Titus O'Neil and Darren Young to the gold, but it would be nice to se them hold the belts at some point. Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne have had a marvelous reign so far. I can't help but feel Kane and Zack Ryder could have had a longer match as well though, personally, given the backstory to this match. A decent win for Ryder, though the WWE United States Championship wasn't really necessary. Eve's character is on point here, wanting to get back with Zack. Up next, solid Extreme Rules match between Dolph Ziggler and Mick Foley with the expected taking place. I'm still not sold on this happening in the year 2012, or whether Ziggler was the right fit for the character, or whether it's good to recycle storylines like Foley did with Randy Orton back in 2004. But a good brawl that established Ziggler's character more credibly whilst keeping Foley strong through nostalgic antics. I think the match went well too short, though. With four hours to work with, I expected some longer sequences. Up next, a clusterf*ck of a ten man tag team match that could have been so much more. It got ten more people on the card, at least. I'm hoping for better WrestleMania moments for Drew McIntyre, Sheamus and Sin Cara in future years. On a side note, considering that this was for the General Manager role of both RAW and SmackDown, this match was full of midcard/utility acts. Not that great. John Laurinaitis makes a better authority figure than Theodore Long though, any day. Wow, Christian and Cody Rhodes got some decent time - as long as Foley and Ziggler got without the gimmick match surprisingly. A solid win for Cody, retaining the WWE Intercontinental Championship against the established Christian. I could have seen this match better suited earlier on in the night. Wow, solid match between the Undertaker and Chris Jericho, probably rivalling 'Taker's matches with Shawn Michaels and Triple H from previous years, for sure. Naturally, the Undertaker retains the Streak. I wonder who is next. The submission finish was a great twist, by the way. Kharma winning the WWE Divas Championship from Beth Phoenix is good, but it being in the death spot of WrestleMania sucks a little. I'm wondering where Kharma will go from here as WWE Divas Champion. Next, awesome match for the WWE Championship to establish CM Punk as the future of the company. Especially beating Triple H at WrestleMania. Though this was a solid match, I can't help but think the fact that these two guys met at Night of Champions last September probably damaged the overall prestige of this match. I'm glad it was semi-main event, but I have a feeling it probably stole the crowd reaction to John Cena vs the Rock. Good main event, as expected from real life, with The Rock getting the win. Whether we're expecting a rematch in the future, is the bigger question here. Overall, a solid show with plenty of historic moments. Maybe too many. One thing I will say is that some matches should have definitely gone longer, and some matches will be forgotten about from an in-diary perspective because of how crammed together they were. But nonetheless, it'll be cool to see where you go from here.

April 9th, 2012 | Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
- Raw opens with a video package of Chris Jericho coming out instead of The Rock when John Cena called him out. It shows Jericho hitting Cena with a Codebreaker after telling him that beating Cena is something that he needs to do before he can destroy the WWE.
- The cameras cut to the arena as John Cena’s theme music hits to a mixed reaction. He gets into the ring and waits for the crowd to die down. Cena begins by saying that last week was one of the worst weeks of his wrestling career. Not only did he lose the match that he’s waited over a year to win, but then, he gets attacked by a man who wants to destroy the thing that he loves more than anything, which is the WWE. John Cena says that he’s wrestled Chris Jericho before and, as Chris said last week, he’s beaten him every single time. However, this is a different Chris Jericho and this is honestly, a different John Cena. This is a John Cena who lost the biggest match in his life to The Rock.
- Before he can continue, Chris Jericho’s music hits as he cuts off the leader of the Cenation. He stays at the top of the ramp and says that John Cena is right about one thing, and it’s that this is a different Chris Jericho. He claims that at the Royal Rumble, Randy Orton got lucky and at WrestleMania, The Undertaker used some mythical powers or something to keep his streak alive. Jericho says that all anyone has to do is look at what he did to The Undertaker before WrestleMania. Jericho says that there is nobody in the WWE who is more vicious and hungry than he is. Cena says that he’s dealt with hungry and vicious people before and he’s dealt with Jericho before so he challenges him to settle this at Extreme Rules. Jericho gladly accepts and says that with it being Extreme Rules, they should make it a special kind of match. Cena tells him to name any stipulation he wants. Jericho smiles and says that he made sure Undertaker couldn’t walk out of Raw a few weeks back after he attacked him, so he wants to beat Cena down the same way in a Last Man Standing match! The crowd pops as Cena shouts that he accepts and there’s nothing Jericho can do that will keep him down. Jericho promises to do because he doesn’t just want to win, he NEEDS to win. He needs it to advance in his goals to destroy the WWE and he will do anything to get this monkey off of his back.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, CM Punk is shown entering John Laurinaitis’ office with the WWE Title on his shoulder. He wants to know why John wanted to speak with him. John says that now that he’s the General Manager of both Raw and Smackdown, he’s a busy man. But he hasn’t forgotten how the way that CM Punk has treated him since he got his seat of power. However, he claims that he doesn’t hold a grudge. But with WrestleMania behind us, Triple H is the Chief Operation Office again and he wants to impress him. So tonight, CM Punk will be in a handicap match against Alberto Del Rio and Mark Henry! CM Punk sighs and says that he’s not surprised to see that John Laurinaitis is still a grade-A ass kisser. He goes to leave but John stops him and says that, in the interest of fairness, if Punk wins he gets to name the stipulation for his match with Triple H at Extreme Rules but if he loses, Triple H will make the choice. Punk seems to like this as he heads off.
- Number One Contender’s Match: The Prime Time Players def. Primo and Epico w/ Rosa Mendes >> The winner of this match would face AirBoom for the Tag Team Titles tomorrow night on Super Smackdown. A fine back and forth tag match here with AirBoom watching from the top of the ramp. Darren Young for the win for his team after nailing the Gutcheck.
- The WWE Universe boos as the referee raises the arms of the Prime Time Players. AirBoom looks on as tomorrow on Smackdown, there will be a WrestleMania rematch!
- A graphic is shown for the United States Championship match later tonight between Zack Ryder and John Laurinaitis’ legal advisor, David Otunga. One title already changed hands tonight, will another?
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, Scott Stanford is backstage with the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Randy Orton. He asks Orton about his scheduled match tonight with the “Big Red Monster” Kane. Randy says that he’s not surprised to find himself booked tonight while Wade Barrett gets the night off, however he’s going to RKO Kane and beat him just like he will do to Wade at Extreme Rules.
- Brodus Clay def. R-Truth >> Brodus Clay continues his dominating run through the WWE with another victory tonight. R-Truth was tough competition though and got a near fall after hitting the Lie Detector. Clay would use a body avalanche in the corner followed by the Fall of Humanity to pick up the win.
- The bell rings as Brodus Clay raises his arms high in the air. The Big Show’s theme hits as the crowd goes nuts and he rushes down to the ring. Brodus Clay rolls out to avoid another incident like this past Friday on Smackdown. Show holds the ropes open as he dares him to enter, but Clay refuses.
- Backstage, Triple H is shown arriving at the arena when Theodore Long comes up to him. Long says that Mr. Laurinaitis sent him to inform him of tonight’s main event. Triple H likes the sound of it and says that he guesses he’ll be coming up with the stipulation for Extreme Rules and not CM Punk.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A Smackdown promo is shown for this week’s Super Smackdown Live edition. “You think you know me” is heard as the promo announces that new WWE Hall of Famer, Edge, will be at Smackdown! He will host an edition of “The Cutting Edge” and there’s no telling what will happen when the “Rated R Superstar” returns to Smackdown!
- Randy Orton def. Kane via disqualification >> A great way to close out the first hour of Monday night Raw as Randy Orton and Kane had a very competitive match. This was a brawl that spilled to the outside and Kane continued to be the monster that wears the mask. Kane went for the Chokeslam, but kicked him in the stomach and hit a Lou Thez press followed by a big knee drop. Orton beat the mat in preparation for the RKO but Kane grabbed him by the throat. He lifted him for the chokeslam, but Orton reversed it to an RKO. Before he could cover Kane, Wade Barrett rushed into the ring and stomped on Orton causing the disqualification.
- Wade Barrett continued to put the boots to the number one contender, before picking him up and planting him with the Wasteland. Barrett has now gotten one up on Randy Orton again during their long rivalry.
- A graphic is shown for tonight’s main event where CM Punk will take on Alberto Del Rio and Mark Henry for the rights to name the stipulation for his match with Triple H at Extreme Rules.
- ===Commercial Break===
- An advertisement for the second episode of NXT on ION Television airs.
- Backstage, The Miz is talking with Mason Ryan. He says that he’s enjoyed having Mason around as a bodyguard but it’s time to take it to the next level. The Miz is thinking that Mason Ryan should be taken under his wing as a former WWE Champion and WrestleMania main eventer is just the right person to help shoot Mason’s career to the top. Mason seems to like the sound of it.
- United States Championship: Zack Ryder [c] def. David Otunga >> Probably the best match that David Otunga has ever had, though that’s not saying much. Zack Ryder continues his streak of good matches and the crowd was very much into this. Otunga had a few close calls, but Ryder wouldn’t quit. Eve walked down to the ring midway through and distracted Ryder, though she was more spiteful than desperate like last week. Otunga rolled up Ryder with the distraction, but Ryder kick out and hit the Rough Ryder as soon as they got up.
- Eve backed away as Zack Ryder celebrated but she nearly cost him his United States Championship. He stared a hole through his ex-girlfriend.
- The cameras cut backstage where John Laurinaitis is watching on a monitor. Theodore Long says that John’s “boy” David Otunga couldn’t get the job done. John says that it’s unfortunate but he sees something he likes in Eve. He tells Teddy to fetch her as he wants to talk to her.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, Eve enters John Laurinaitis’ office. John says that he appreciates her trying to show her support for David Otunga out there, and he thinks it’s a shame that she is unwanted by Zack Ryder and Kane. She seems sad and says that she knows she can be good to them if they gave her a chance. John says that he sees something in her and knows that she can be an asset. He offers her a job as his personal assistant. Eve lights up and promises to be the best assistant he could ask for.
- “I’m here to show the world” blasts over the speakers of the Verizon Center as Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero make their way to the ring. Dolph begins to talk about last week when he defeated Mick Foley on the grandest stage of them all, only to have Sheamus come out and ruin his victory speech. He calls Sheamus a jealous wannabe who wishes he was in Dolph’s league. He says that Sheamus had no right to come out, interrupt him and challenge him last week so it should be a no brainer why he walked out. He has nothing to prove to Sheamus. This brings out Sheamus to a pop from the WWE Universe. Sheamus admits that he gave Dolph credit for beating Mick Foley, because that’s not an easy thing to do. While he respects Dolph’s ability, he has no respect for the man. Sheamus challenges Dolph to another match tonight. Dolph declines because he doesn’t have his gear with him, or he’d be more than happy to beat him. “So if you had your gear, you’d accept a match with me?” asks Sheamus. Dolph says of course he would and Sheamus is glad to hear it because they can do the match tomorrow night on Smackdown. Dolph reluctantly agrees so he doesn’t look cowardly. Sheamus wants to up the ante and wants to make it an Extreme Rules match. Dolph thinks it over and, despite looking worried, agrees. He says that he is the king of Extreme Rules matches after beating Mick Foley in one. Sheamus says, “We’ll see Friday won’t we fella?”
- A graphic is shown for Super Smackdown Live as Dolph Ziggler will face Sheamus in an Extreme Rules match! Add in Edge’s appearance on Smackdown along with the Tag Team Title match and tomorrow night is shaping up to be one of the biggest episodes of all-time.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, WWE Divas Champion Kharma is shown walking to the ring and she stops at ringside to watch the upcoming contest.
- Divas Tag Team Match: AJ Lee and Kaitlyn def. The Bella Twins >> The best friends known as the “Chickbusters” at one time have great chemistry as partners just like the Bella Twins. This was a normal Divas tag match and didn’t get a great amount of time, but Kaitlyn put down Brie Bella with a Spear.
- The best friends hug in the middle of the ring as the Divas Champion looks on, not saying a word. AJ Lee and Kaitlyn watch as Kharma leaves up the ramp, before they go back to celebrating.
- In the back, WWE Champion CM Punk is shown on a screen walking towards the arena. He competes in a handicap match next week!
- ===Commercial Break===
- The cameras return to see John Cena and Zack Ryder talking. Cena congratulates him on retaining his belt and Ryder thanks him but asks what has been going on in Cena’s head of late. Using the steel chair at WrestleMania was something he didn’t expect. Cena says that he was a desperate man and desperate men do desperate things. He doesn’t regret it because he wanted to win that badly. Cena walks off as Ryder looks worried about his friend’s state of mind.
- Handicap Non-Title Match: WWE Champion CM Punk def. Alberto Del Rio and Mark Henry >> As one would expect during a handicap match, the team of two was in control for the majority of the match. CM Punk started hot but then Mark Henry and Alberto Del Rio began to tag in and out frequently and put the work in on the WWE Champion. Midway through the match, Triple H walked down to the ring to join in on commentary. He ran down Punk for the rest of the match. In the end, Ted Dibiase shocked everyone by running down and pulling Del Rio off the apron! He gets some revenge for Del Rio’s attack on him on Smackdown by leveling him with multiple right hands on the outside. Henry goes for a tag, but with no Del Rio, he’s at a loss. He turns back to Punk, who hits a stiff kick to the head and rolls Henry up for the victory.
- CM Punk quickly rolls out of the ring as he has escaped with an improbably victory! Triple H throws off his headset in anger and stares a hole through Punk. Punk is handed the WWE Title and a microphone. CM Punk tells Triple H that nothing he does is going to stop him, whether it’s a handicap match or stacking the deck against him. He already knows that at Extreme Rules he wants to beat the hell out of the COO, so their match will be a Chicago Street Fight! The crowd pops as Triple H looks on with fury in his eyes.

Kev - Just finished getting through Raw.
There's no denying that your a talented dude and committed to the diary, it's realistic and well written but for me currently it's lacking a punch. Everything is fine it's just not exciting me. It actually feels very much like WWE around this time, so saying that you need to change it up a little.
Like I mentioned nothing was bad on the show, Cena/Jericho was a decent segment, Punk/HHH advanced (I would really consider putting the title on HHH in Chicago). The biggest plus of the show for me was the way you are continuing to use Ziggler.
I don't mean to be down on the show, I am overall a fan of this and yours recently I took the time to go back and have a look over your previous diary. This just needs a bit of flavour adding to it for my tastes
Cheap Plug| TNA48 is up and TNA49 will be up shortly, check them out and tear them a new arsehole if you wish!

Alright, solid opening promo and a good set up for a Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules between Cena and Jericho. I have a feeling that Punk will win his match later on with Alberto Del Rio and Mark Henry and get to choose the stipulation. Solid victory for The Prime Time Players and them getting another crack at AirBoom is fine. I have a feeling they might actually win this time around. Brodus Clay getting the win over R-Truth was expecte here and him avoiding Show just carries on the feud between the two... expecting a short encounter in the near future. Maybe Extreme Rules. Randy Orton beating Kane by disqualification was fine thanks to Wade Barrett. I feel like Kane may be stuck in limbo. I wonder if you're going to do something with him and Ryder further or if they might end up a weird team like Kane and Bryan did or something... solid progression for Orton and Barrett though. Zack Ryder retaining the United States Championship doesn't come as a surprise, Otunga doesn't deserve to be champion right now. Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler in Extreme Rules match on Smackdown? Interesting choice... I figure something nutty will happen. By the way, you had Ziggler say the match would be tomorrow night and Sheamus say Friday. Anyway. AJ Lee and Kaitlyn defeating The Bella Twins is fine, I wonder where this will go with Kharma. Finally, a solid main event with CM Punk winning over Alberto Del Rio and Mark Henry and Punk choosing a Chicago Street Fight is fine. Could have maybe used something a little more brutal, but, it's fine. A solid edition of Raw.

April 10th, 2012 | Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia- The opening intro and pyro is shown before the commentary team of Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Matthews welcome the WWE Universe to Super Smackdown Live! Tonight promises to be explosive as the former 11 time World Champion, Edge returns to host the Cutting Edge! Just announced is that his guest will be the Intercontinental Champion, Cody Rhodes! Plus, an Extreme Rules match between Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler as well as a Tag Team Title match!
- The theme of the General Manager of Raw and Smackdown hits as John Laurinaitis makes his way to the ring with David Otunga following closely behind him. Love him or hate him, John Laurinaitis has been impressive running things since WrestleMania. He gets in the ring to a chorus of boos and begins to speak. John says that first of all, he wants to be known as “the General Manager of the WWE” and not just the general manager of Raw and Smackdown. He says that it’s more formal and a formal title is what he deserves. Onto the business at hand, he brings out someone who has supported him heavily going into WrestleMania and continues to; Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio walks out to a negative response from the WWE Universe. He gets in the ring and says that the best thing to happen in 2012 has been John Laurinaitis becoming the official General Manager of the WWE. Del Rio says that he couldn’t bear to work under Theodore Long for a day more and he fully supports John Laurinaitis. However, there is one man who doesn’t support Mr. Laurinaitis and has made it very clear and that man is Ted Dibiase. Alberto Del Rio says that people have been wondering why he helped Drew McIntyre against Dibiase last week and the answer is simple. Dibiase needs to learn respect for someone like Mr. Laurinaitis.
- This brings out the second generation Superstar as Ted Dibiase steps out to the stage to a bunch of cheers. He has a microphone and states that Alberto Del Rio is correct, he doesn’t support nor respect John Laurinaitis. Dibiase claims that Theodore Long ran Smackdown for years and it was in great shape with some of the best matches in WWE history. However, now it’s run by a complete jerk that the Dibiase Posse can’t get behind. Laurinaitis tells him to watch his mouth when speaking to authority. Dibiase understands that Del Rio got involved against Drew McIntyre last week because he wants to continue to suck up to the General Manager, which is why he got involved in Del Rio’s match with CM Punk last night. He’s all about evening the score and wants nothing more to get Del Rio, one on one, in the ring. Del Rio accepts the challenge but Laurinaitis steps in. He says that they can have a match, but at Extreme Rules and it will be a Lumberjack match. Half of the ring will be surrounded by guys who support him as General Manager and the other half will be disrespectful guys like Dibiase. Ted wants the match now, but Laurinaitis tells him that he has a match right now, against former World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, Ted Dibiase is in the ring while John Laurinaitis, Alberto Del Rio and David Otunga stand on the outside. Daniel Bryan’s theme hits as he walks to the ring with AJ Lee.
- Ted Dibiase def. Daniel Bryan w/ AJ Lee >> A surprising result to open Super Smackdown Live as Daniel Bryan drops his third straight match. Ted Dibiase continues to show that he is a force to be reckoned with in the WWE by hanging tough with Bryan. The former World Champion kicked out of Dream Street though, to the shock of many. Just like last week though, AJ Lee made a mistake when trying to interfere. Dibiase locked in the Million Dollar Dream and AJ got on the apron to distract the referee. However, Bryan reversed it into a pinning combination but AJ still had the official’s attention. Bryan broke the pin and made AJ get off the apron, which allowed Dibiase to hit a second Dream Street and win!
- John Laurinaitis is fuming outside as Ted Dibiase celebrates one of, if not, the biggest win of his career. He leaves up the ramp as Alberto Del Rio and David Otunga threaten him, while the crowd roars.
- Alberto Del Rio, John Laurinaitis and David Otunga leave up the ramp while AJ Lee checks on Daniel Bryan. Bryan gets up and shoves AJ back a bit. He grabs a microphone and begins to shout at her. Bryan blames AJ for his loss tonight, his loss last week and even his loss at WrestleMania. He says that she can’t do anything right and that’s he done with her. He yells right in her face that they are over! He storms up the ramp as AJ Lee is heartbroken in the ring.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Similar to last week, a promo is shown for a Superstar that’s set to debut soon, Xavier Woods. Last week he was introduced as a funky dancer and this week, while dancing, the promo focused on the things he loves which include comic books, superheroes, action figures and more. The funkiest man in WWE history is set to debut soon.
- Returning, Matt Striker is standing by with the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Randy Orton. He asks Orton for his thoughts on Wade Barrett. Randy says that since the end of last year, he has hated Barrett and he understands how strong of a word hate is. He knows that neither of them is set for action tonight, but he promises to get some of the Champion tonight.
- WWE Tag Team Championship: The Prime Time Players def. AirBoom [c] >> Similar to their match at WrestleMania, the Prime Time Players and AirBoom had a bit more time so they were able to best their performance from that night. Titus O’Neil and Darren Young again worked over Evan Bourne until he made the hot tag to Kofi Kingston. However, unlike WrestleMania, Kingston’s hot streak did not lead to a win. Instead, he was stopped in his tracks by the sight of someone walking down the ramp. A close up reveals that this person is Abraham Washington and he begins to talk to Kingston from the outside. This distracts Kingston enough for Young to sneak up and hit the Gutcheck for the three.
- The WWE Universe boos loudly as AirBoom’s Tag Team Title reign has come to a halt at the hands of the Prime Time Players. Abraham Washington, who hasn’t been seen in the WWE since he used to hose a talk show on ECW, runs around the ring and grabs the Tag Team Titles. He hands them to the new Champions and raises their arms high in the air. The WWE Universe is confused at this turn of events, but regardless, there are new Tag Team Champions.
- Cutting backstage, Edge is shown walking towards the arena to a huge pop from the crowd as the Cutting Edge is next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning to the broadcast, Daniel Bryan is shown with his bags packed and leaving the arena. Matt Striker catches up with him and asks where he’s going. Bryan says that ridding himself of AJ Lee was a step in the right direction, but he needs a week or so to clear his head before coming back for his World Heavyweight Title. Bryan exits the building as the cameras cut back to the arena.
- The ring is set up for “The Cutting Edge” as the crowd eagerly anticipates the arrival of Edge. “You think you know me” is heard as the crowd erupts for the 2012 Hall of Famer. Edge comes out as excited as he always is and gets his typical pyro, before getting in the ring. He says it’s great to be back on Smackdown, the place that he always considered home. He loves being able to come back to the WWE any chance that he gets and there’s been so much going on lately that he’s happy to be a part of it. However, one thing in particular has caught his eye, which involves his best friend, Christian. Over the past few months, Christian has been chasing the Intercontinental Title and its Champion, Cody Rhodes. Edge calls Cody out as his guest. Cody obliges with a smile on his face as he gets in the ring and sits down. Edge greets him and starts by asking Cody how he’s doing. Cody laughs and says this is off to a poor start, but he’s doing great because he’s on day 245 of what will go down in history as the greatest Intercontinental Title reign in history. Edge agrees that it has been a very impressive reign and his victory over Christian at WrestleMania was big. However, the night after WrestleMania, Christian pinned Cody Rhodes in a six man tag and has beaten him in several non-title matches. Cody asks what Edge’s point is and Edge responds by saying that if Christian beat him numerous times and Cody only won at WrestleMania, maybe he just got lucky. Cody protests, but Edge suggests that if Cody truly wants to be the best Intercontinental Champion of all time, then he should give Christian one more shot at the title. Cody gives it a thought but says that Christian doesn’t deserve it. Edge goads Cody into it by calling him a chicken. Cody snaps and agrees shouting that he is the best Intercontinental Champion ever and he’s so confident that Christian can even name the time, place and everything else. This brings out Christian who walks to the ring with a huge grin. He hugs Edge and tells Cody that they should have the match at Extreme Rules. Cody says that’s fine and goes to leave but Christian’s voice stops him near the top of the ramp. Christian says that since it will be at Extreme Rules and Cody said Christian could name “everything” about the match, he says it will be his and Edge’s specialty, a Ladder match! Cody Rhodes is stunned and furious as Edge and Christian high five, while the crowd goes wild.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for next Monday’s Raw is shown. For the first time in over a year, Triple H will step into the ring on Raw as he and CM Punk play “Pick Your Poison!”
- Divas Match: Kaitlyn def. Alicia Fox >> Last night on Raw, Kaitlyn got the win for her team over the Bella Twins and tonight, she won again. After some back and forth action, Kaitlyn nailed a huge Spear to gain some more momentum.
- Kaitlyn rolls out of the ring and raises her arms in victory. One has to wonder if she will be first in line to challenge the monster that is Kharma!
- John Laurinaitis is shown in his office with David Otunga and Alberto Del Rio. He brags about how good Super Smackdown has been with him at the helm instead of Theodore Long. He says that he’s going to continue to be the best General Manager of all-time as he has an announcement for the WWE Universe. Otunga asks what it is and John says that this Monday on Raw, Rey Mysterio will return to action! The crowd pops at this news!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Backstage, Matt Striker is standing by with Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero. Matt asks Dolph if he thinks accepting an Extreme Rules match with Sheamus was a good idea. Ziggler laughs a bit and says “of course it was a good idea. I am the man who beat the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley in an Extreme Rules match, meaning that Sheamus won’t be able to even touch me tonight.”
- Drew McIntyre def. Sin Cara >> Since his return from injury before WrestleMania, it has been noted that Sin Cara has been better in the ring and tonight might have been the best match of his short WWE career. Granted, it only went about seven minutes, but it was action packed. The bigger story than Sin Cara’s improvement was Drew McIntyre continuing to rediscover his mean streak. He put down the masked superstar with the Future Shock.
- Drew McIntyre celebrated the victory but clearly wasn’t done. He picked up Sin Cara and hit another Future Shock before shouting “Is that what you wanted Teddy?!” McIntyre seems to have found that part of him that Theodore Long was looking for earlier this year when he continually threatened his job.
- Theodore Long is shown watching on a monitor in John Laurinaitis’ office. John tells Teddy that post match attacks and things like that from Drew McIntyre is his fault for the way he treated a star of McIntyre’s caliber earlier this year. Long looks on with a disappointed look on his face.
- Sheamus is shown walking towards the arena because the big Extreme Rules match is up next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Extreme Rules: Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero def. Sheamus >> A long and excellent main event of Super Smackdown. Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus used everything at their disposal to hurt each other. Steel chairs, trash cans, kendo sticks and a table were all brought into play. The table was used when Dolph hit a Zig Zag on Sheamus through it, but he was hurt as well. This led to a long wait for the pin attempt, which allowed Sheamus to get his foot on the rope. Ziggler was not happy and he made a mistake when he went for the Zig Zag again. Sheamus held onto the ropes. As Ziggler got to his feet, Sheamus went for the Brogue Kick, but Dolph ducked it and rolled him up with a handful of tights and he managed to get his feet on the ropes as well.
- Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero quickly get out of dodge to avoid the wrath of the “Celtic Warrior.” Two Mondays ago, Dolph got himself disqualified and tonight, he picked up a cheap win over Sheamus. Sheamus was livid in the ring as Dolph shouted that he’s on a roll. Dolph is correct, he is on a roll, but it was clear by the look on Sheamus’ face that he is not done with him.
- Cutting backstage before the show closes, Randy Orton is shown searching for the World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett. Randy promised to get his hands on Barrett earlier tonight. He barges into Wade’s locker room but only finds the World Heavyweight Title. Suddenly, he is struck from behind by Barrett! Barrett continues to level him before throwing him into the wall. Wade picks up the World Title and leaves his locker room. The camera follows him and catches Randy Orton coming back to hit him from behind! Randy Orton will not stay down! Orton throws him into the nearby catering table. Randy gets a crazed look in his eyes and he backs up as if he’s going to punt Wade Barrett! Before he can though, officials rush in and keep them separated. Randy Orton makes it clear that he’s willing to do whatever it takes to take down Wade Barrett and win the World Heavyweight Title! There will be nobody to keep them apart in the Steel Cage!

Let's get too Super Smack Down...
Nice packed card, not too much and giving them all a mention made everything feel bigger.
Not a fan of Johnny as leader, that needs to end soon for me. I was a fan of DiBiase but at the minute at this early stage it feels like a step down for Del Rio but you can fix that and you started that by having DiBiase beat Bryan in the opener. Now DiBiase/Del Rio looks a bit more interesting but you still need to work on DiBiase.
Bryan/AJ split let's see how you handle it from here...
New tag champs in the Prime Time Players, if you were going to do the switch why not at the bigger show like Mania? Regardless small point, big win for PTP.
It was clear where Christian/Rhodes was going but didn't take away from the enoyment of the segment. Thought it was well written and adds a great match to the PPV.
Good to see you doing something with McIntyre.
Good match between Ziggler & Sheamus and at this point the cheap finish works and carries on the rivalry. I would have put this on last because if it was the closing shot it would have had more of an impact and helped Ziggler even more. What happened with Barrett/Orton could have been left of this show, weirdly they weren't needed and what did happen could have happened on Raw because it didn't add anything for me. Sheamus/Ziggler was the Main Event.
overall, really enjoyed this show feels like change is starting to come. I would say one of your better shows and Extreme Rules looks good on paper, match quality wise. Good work

AJ and Bryan breaking was expected sooner or later, maybe AJ will get romantically involved with the World Champion Wade Barrett to mess with him. That backstage brawl closing Smackdown was different and I like that. Orton gaining some momentum this week was a good, it makes me wonder what Barrett can do to get back at Orton. Was a bit surprised at PTP winning the titles on Super Smackdown, I was expecting them to lose tonight then win the titles at Extreme Rules. Ziggler winning was good, it continues his feud with Sheamus, I'm thinking they'll have various matches with different stipulations and end it at Extreme Rules. I didn't expect Sin Cara to lose so soon after returning from injury. After Edge mentioned the 245 day IC title reign that Cody has, I'm hoping Cody holds that title for a year. Good show for Super Smackdown overall.

It's been a while since I've done caught up on my favorite wrestling diaries. I've been busy with other aspects of my life. But I've heard you had a new diary after your last one, so I decided to check it out.
Anyway, onto the show. Interesting opener with John Lauranitis, Ted Dibiase and Alberto Del Rio. I like how you're building up Ted Dibiase as he never seemed to have gotten a real shot in real life. It helps that Dibiase won against Daniel Bryan in the opening match. Love the breakup with Bryan and AJ Lee as it makes Bryan a bigger douche than he already is. Looking forward to what you do when Xavier Woods debuts on the main roster. Sounds like you're making him a male version of Lee's earlier character in which he enjoys comic books and video games and such. Awesome to see the Prime Time Players defeat Air Boom for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Having Abraham Washington join up with them will really help them in the long run. Hopefully, it will last longer than it did in real life. Great edition of the Cutting Edge as it helps build up the Cody Rhodes/Christian rematch for the Intercontinental Championship in a ladder match no less. I predict Rhodes retaining once more as he needs it more than Christian. At this stage in his career, Christian seems to be better used to help build up younger guys like Rhodes. Decent match between Kaitlyn and Alicia Fox. I'm wondering if Kaitlyn is going to challenge Kharma for the Diva's Championship soon. If Beth Phoenix couldn't topple the monster known as Kharma, who can? Drew McIntyre winning over Sin Cara is the way to go as it seems McIntyre needs it more. It also builds him up to be the strong character he once was. Great main event with Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus. It seems you're touting Ziggler as the next Hardcore Legend following his victory over Mick Foley at WrestleMania. Looking forward to see if the feud with Sheamus progresses. The main feud on SmackDown is World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett and Randy Orton so it makes sense for it to end the show. Really makes it something to watch come Extreme Rules. Great show. Keep up the great work, Kev.
