The San Jose Mercury News is reporting the location for WrestleMania 31 will either be Santa Clara, California or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The San Francisco 49ers new stadium is located in Santa Clara which would be the venue for WrestleMania if that city is chosen. The report claims both 49ers team executives and Santa Clara Mayor Jamie Matthews have met with WWE about the possibility.
No official news on the location of WrestleMania if held in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Eagles football stadium or Phillies baseball stadiums are the two obvious choices and both are located next to each other.
In related news, according to PWInsider.com, Detroit, MI is the top market being considered to host WrestleMania 32 in 2016, and the event would take place at Ford Field, the site of WrestleMania 23. WWE is expected to make its decision on the PPV location at the end of the month and the announcement is expected to be made in early 2014.
If WrestleMania is brought to Detroit, it will apparently come with little to no help from Windsor, Ontario, which sits across the Detroit River and neighbors the City of Detroit, as Windsor City Councillor Alan Halberstadt has rallied against $60,000 that has been authorized by the City of Windsor to help bring WrestleMania to Detroit
I'm indifferent about WM31, but I wouldn't mind WM32 going back to Detroit. It's only about a 4 hour drive for me, & I would probably go.

I'm really hoping for a Philadelphia WrestleMania..... I was able to go to New Jersey for WM29 and it was a blast! I would love it if they had it in my own backyard!

Philly better be on the top of the list right now. The last and only time we had it here, Austin was still in the main events.

I'm really hoping they'll go to the Lucas Oil stadium in Indy some time in the near future.

I went to WrestleMania last year, if WrestleMania 31 is in Philly I'll go for sure.

I'm really hoping they'll go to the Lucas Oil stadium in Indy some time in the near future. Yeah no kidding. I'm not just saying that because I'm close to it, but they did such an amazing job with the Super Bowl as a host city. There's no reason it wouldn't be a success in Indy.

I'm sick of being teased with Chicago and Indianapolis. I want to go to a WrestleMania SO bad, but my other trips take priority. Hopefully soon...

I would love WrestleMania to come back to Detroit, hopefully its put together abit better then 23. Axxess could be held at Cobo Hall, the night after WrestleMania could be held at the Red Wings new arena if its done by then.
Even though I love Detroit, I wouldn't mind it being in Toronto or Indianapolis either. As long as its within five hours of me its cool.

Damn, still no UK Mania then ! Not to be that guy, but there will never be a Wrestlemania in the UK, it's a fact you'll have to accept. Due to the time zone difference. They're not going to do a show at like 4 am over or show it on tape delar.

I'm down for Bay Area WM, I could at least fly there easier. The east and the south cost too damn much

Hoping WM31 is in Philly. I wasn't able to go to WM29 and I would love to get to one sooner than later.
Plus, imagine a Post-Mania RAW in Philly.

Santa Clara is a lock IMO. Levi's Stadium is obviously brand new. Its "green" which would probably help save WWE money. McMahon has a pattern of following the "Super Bowl format" which SB50 will be held there as well. I would be very surprised if this isnt your home to Wrestlemania XXXI

I don't understand why WWE takes so long to announce their WrestleMania sites. The NFL is set. Look.
XLVIII-East Rutherford (MetLife Stadium) XLIX-Glendale (University of Phoenix Stadium) L-Santa Clara (Levi's Stadium) LI-Houston (Reliant Stadium)
I think it's stupid how WWE knows where their next WrestleMania is by the end of August, and we have to wait until the next February at best to find out.
Having WrestleMania XXXI in Philadelphia would be pretty cool (after the success of WrestleMania XXIX-NY/NJ) but I would be damn shocked if they don't give it to Santa Clara. If Philly does get it, it will most likely be at Lincoln Financial Field.
Still waiting for the announcement that WrestleMania XL is coming to Yankee Stadium or Citi Field.

For WWE it's a hype thing and to give that big announcement in a city around Wrestlemania time.

And we know how Vince has a hard on for all things social media. Really hope this happens as I have season tix there

It'll never happen but dammit, come to Vancouver BC, newly renovated BC Place Stadium would be perfect, Raw the next night at Rogers Arena, HOF at either Rogers or one of the many theatres we have! Axxess at the newer convention center or outside by BC Place. Only in my dreams!
