Bought this fig yesterday at an Indy show in great shape. But I realized his left arm has an actual plastic elbow pad while his right is painted on. I checked the others on the bay and it's the same. Can anyone think why toybiz used two different pads?

Because the mold was originally from a scheduled Goldberg figure... that came with just one Pad..?!...

Because it's Toy Biz. A company that produced some amazing figures, but could never wrap it's head around any sort of consistency in their lines. This is why so many of the WCW figures aren't quite as good as they could be. It's also why pretty much every series of Marvel Legends look like a completely different line than the series before.

Because the body mold was originally used for Goldberg, who presumably was wearing just the one elbowpad at the time they designed the figure.

Toybiz reused so many bodies for their WCW line. My favorite figure from the WCW line was Shane Douglas. I finally got him and most of his parts are from an earlier Randy Savage figure. Still a great figure though and hands down the prized piece of my collection.
