Hey guys, I was just looking at my MOC WWF LJN figures and noticed on a few on them that they've got "sticker" bio cards which have been placed over someone else's bio. I'm not sure how common or rare these versions are, but I only have 3 in my collection. If you are lucky, you can actually see who's bio is underneath the "sticker" version. These aren't errors or else I would've posted them in the other thread about LJN bio cards. They are the correct versions for each figure, it's just that the ones I've got are "sticker" versions which have been placed over another wrestler's bio. The 3 that I've got are Corporal Kirchner, "Luscious" Johnny Valiant and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. - Unfortunately, I cannot see which bio is underneath Kirchner's "sticker" bio and I'm certainly not willing to start peeling it back to find out. - I believe the one underneath Johnny V.'s "sticker" bio is The Junk Yard Dog, but I'm not 100% certain of that. - The one underneath Heenan's "sticker" bio is definitely Capt. Lou Albano. Does anyone else have these "sticker" bio versions in their collection?? If so, post pics of the ones you got. Thanks.

Hmm, interesting find Mr. Old School. I'm amazed I've never noticed that before, and I'm sure alot of other people are in the same boat. I know you said you think the one underneath Johnny V's looks to be JYD. Of the 20 or so card backs I have, there is one Johnny V card back I have that is pretty beat up with a sticker on it, just the card back, so I peeled it a bit and its Capt Lou's bio underneath. My Johnny V has the word MANAGER on the front though, so I guess it had to be another manager underneath. Does your Johnny V card have the word MANAGER on the front? I'm guessing these are fairly common, and that it was done to get rid of over stock of card backs. However, if they are at all rare I guess I just helped make your three even more rare by destroying mine. Your welcome!

^ Yep, my MOC "Luscious" Johnny Valiant has "Manager" on the front of the card. You could very well be right. Maybe there was an overstock of a certain manager's bio card backing and they just used those up but put sticker bio's overtop of the correct figure instead.
I'm assuming they are pretty rare though. I mean, I've got 30 MOC WWF LJN figures in my collection so far and as I pointed out, only 3 have the sticker bio versions, instead of the normal cardboard versions.

just looked again...doesnt seem it has to do with managers..
the two extras i have for sale that have the stickers are Ted Arcidi and Cowboy Bob Orton...
and the four from my own collection are Ted Arcidi, Cowboy Bob Orton (interesting eh), Hercules Hernandez and Jake the Snake Roberts...
the Jake the Snake is a King Kong Bundy, Hercules is also King Kong Bundy, one of the Bob Orton's is a Brutus Beefcake, the other Orton is Randy Savage, and both Ted Arcidi are Ricky Steamboat
all of mine are from Series 4 and yours are from Series 3 and 4...all of the ones underneath the sticker are from Series 2 and early Series 3...
so i am thinking the second run of series 3 figures and then some of series 4 figures were just using the left over stuff..

Yep, probably the same reason for all the error backs for black card Duggan. Just using up extra stuff, only in this case... they made stickers to cover up the problem.
