This is immensely easy to fake.
Not to say that I trust the American government in any way, shape or form or believe they're above something like this.

The words after UPDATED are offcenter. They're slightly lower than the rest of the line.

I looked on the Daily Mail Online. I couldn't find the article. I looked for all articles published from 1/29 to 1/30 that were news articles and the author was Louise Boyle. I found nothing. If this is a real article, I can't find the primary source. Edit: This article appears to be semi-legit. After further research the article was indeed published on the Daily Mail's website on the 29th and was later pulled for reasons unknown. Original article can be seen on Archive.org - web.archive.org/web/20130129213824/http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2270219/U-S-planned-launch-chemical-weapon-attack-Syria-blame-Assad.htmlThe article itself was then quoted on Yahoo India - in.news.yahoo.com/us-backed-plan-launch-chemical-weapon-attack-syria-045648224.html. Here's the full text of the article: So the question then is whether the email is legit. Apparently the answer is no one knows. Britam is not commenting and anything they say is straight up hearsay anyway. Infowars as a source is definitely sketchy. There are apparently two versions of the email circulating. One is dated December 24th and the other is dated December 25th but otherwise they are legit. Infowars claims they got the info from a German hacker. Daily Mail says they got the info from a German hacker. Both parties in the email are real people (who aren't commenting), but their names and roles in the company are public info. I'm inclined to think this is likely bogus myself, but can't say definitively. Infowars as a source, varying sources for where the email came from and different dates make me suspicious. The story itself was indeed published and then pulled though. This is why you research your conspiracies. You always find something interesting.

I couldn't find anything to but I was too scared to admit as people would say "no proof" and that but thanks
