Don't break my heart. Interested to hear your theory on why Chibbs.

He's still deep rooted in the IRA.. Chibbs not one time has questioned Jax, and has even pushed him forward on a few of his wild ideas that he has no reason for other than "revenge".. The IRA was pushed into the gun deal with the blacks, this is the IRA's play to destroy SAMCRO and destroy the relationship with black at the same time.. Chibbs got his revenge in, what, season 3?..
I read a theory the other day that went really deep into why Chibbs could be the big bad guy reveal.. It made me think about the possibility alot. If I find it I'll post it.

I think it's uncharacteristic of the show's writing so far for a "surprise rat", especially if it's Chibbs

I think it comes full circle in once again dealing with the IRA. Them being involved in planting a rat or turning a "former" IRA member into a rat.. We've heard very little about the IRA this season.. That would be a big heartbreaking reveal.
It's probably Robocop, that's the dull predictable answer, but I've read a few interesting theories.
I must point out though that this entire season has been uncharacteristic for almost everyone involved.. 6 seasons of character development was thrown out the window this season.

I don't agree with this. I think we are being lead to a finality that fits right in line with the tone of the show and the characters that inhabit its universe. I don't buy the theory of a sudden betrayal because that doesn't fit in with the overall tone of the show. Chives doesn't make much sense because of his extreme loyalty to the club in many ways. If that theory were to turn out to be true, then I'd be pissed because it would be a cheap emotional gimmick thrown together last minute, which once again, doesn't fit in the overall tone. Side note: does anyone else miss the narration from Jax, like we had from his dad in the earlier season, where he is speaking from his journal. It seems they have abandoned this motif and the whole "Jax writing a journal to his boys" theme. I really enjoyed that.

But I'm not the only person that feels that way about this season.. Cheap, lazy writing is when things become predictable.. This show becoming predictable doesn't fit the overall tone of the show.. When the rat comes out we'll revisit this.. Because I enjoy the Chibbs theory, you don't because you're a fan of Chibbs. If the rat ends up being Robocop.. I'll be extremely let down, because of how predictable that was.

(although I really like the character) its that I don't believe that theory and I don't see how all of the sudden Chibbs is this rat that was planted to infiltrate the club or whatever it is. This show usually alludes to things happening but rarely, if at all, does it give us cheap swerves like that. Id be more offended if they decided to swerve me instead of giving me an intellectual, well thought out plot with finality. When watching the show I like to come up with my elaborate plots and try to see if I can think of how things will play out (just check out my reply about bobbys death by a thousand cuts idea). They're fun to fantasize about so I get it.

If I remember correctly, there's no new episode the week of Thanksgiving.
With that said, I think Jax finds out Gemma killed Tara at the end of next week leading into the break then the final two episodes are all out mayhem.

Nero is my favorite this season. Still love Jax and Chibbs. But Nero has really stepped up. On episode 6!

And yet ANOTHER death is on Gemma's hands. If she somehow makes it through this alive, I'm gonna be really ing pissed off. She needs to go, SOON!!! Unser is putting the pieces together in Tara and Eli's deaths. He'll have it figured it out soon. He's got to remember that he did loan Gemma his truck the night Tara was murdered. I still believe 100% that Abel is going to be the one who kills Gemma. Most people I've heard want Jax to be the one to do it, but I think it'll be Abel.

The two kids playing Abel are the worst child actors of all time.
Chibbs "taking" Sheriff Jarry in the parking garage while Kid Rock watched was terribly awkward..
...but FINALLY, something happened.. It took 9 episodes for this seasons storyline to escalate to another level, but I put my head down and powered through it and now, with only 4 episodes left.. I shall be payed in full with big reveals, death, and mayhem..
This is a show that I really enjoyed, but am so happy it's almost over.. I'm gonna miss my weekly dose of Charlie Hunnam, but luckily he's got a huge movie career ahead of him.

Wow! I figured at most we'd get Abel revealing what Gemma did. I saw Jax getting to invoke mayhem on Gemma. If Abel takes her out. That will be so intense. And to whoever said the kid playing Abel is a bad actor, I'd agree.

I don't know if Abel making me feel uncomfortable is a good thing or a bad thing.

That was one of those deals where you know it's going to happen but it still catches you way off guard when it goes down. This all goes back to Gemma though. Jax essentially dies for absolutely no reason if he is willing to go down swinging against Marks. I get it, the infinite tragedy and all that but what a waste. I'm curios to see how the puzzle unfolds. I'm starting to think one of Nero or Wendy has to make it out alive, primarily because I don't think Sutter is willing to kill the kids, or at least not Thomas. So someone has to survive to take care of Thomas while waiting to pick up Abel from the looney bin.
It's absolutely crazy to think, going back now, that if Gemma doesn't kabob Tara, then everyone is at relative peace. Jax set everyone up to benefit from the end of Season 6. He would be ruling the empire alongside Marks, and the kids would be off with Tara living a quiet existence away from the MC. That's the alternate universe that could have been haha. Instead, Gemma, all said and done, will have gotten everyone killed.
