I know it wont, but am I the only one who wants this to end all goody goody with Tara and Jax back together and everyone still alive? That would be my favorite possible outcome. For a show about death, guns, and violence; I'd like to see a happy ending. But in terms of a 7th season, I don't see this ending well just so there is a plot to lead into next season.

You can never fix these guys or these relationships. All these men, and women, and what they've experienced, no one really goes home "happy" per se. However, I am pulling for Jax and Tara to stay together and give their two kids a chance to survive in a world without guns and drugs at their front doorstep. It's probably very unrealistic at this point, but I want JT's dreams to be fulfilled through Jax. The bad guy winning, blood and violence, etc. life lesson endings are just as stereotypical as the ride off into the sunset endings are these days. I won't gain anything as an audience member in seeing Jax and Tara not make it in the end.

I wish the Unser storyline with Gemma didn't exist. It is flat out ridiculous. It's fine enough having him be her lap dog, but to say he's in love with her is just plain silly and totally ruins the character for me.
On the flip side, Nero is the sheet.

The only reason I have doubts about a positive ending with Jax and Tara as well as the club leaving guns, is that without turmoil, what is this show about?
I hate to be thinking so literal but if there's a happy ending, where do they go from here?

This is probably the last season of the show. Unless they add a new bad guy on the fly which the audience would have no reason to care about....the main Irish gun dealers are dead, Clay is dead, and you can only have this lady DA go after the MC for so long before it gets old.
I'm thinking the show is going to end...and if it's not, it should. If they tried to stretch another season or 2 after killing off so many characters, it's not going to leave the audience with much to care about.
The DA and what to do about Tara are literally the only things left to be resolved.

really crazy episode. i am sure the next one will focus on what tara plans on doing, staying loyal or going rouge. i know, in sutter fashion, that the finale this season will start whatever they plan on doing in season 7. i still think the "homeless lady" is part of the bigger picture.

Next season is the last. On the Emmy panel, they asked Sutter about it. He said he always thought he could tell the complete story in 7 seasons and right now (at which point he was done with season 6 and amping up for season 7 filming) he is still on pace to end everything in 7 seasons. Charlie said in his interview with Chris Hardwick that he would do another season though if Kurt thought he needed it to finish the story.
To be clear, I don't think Jax and Tara will get any kind of closure together by the end of this season. Season 6 is still going to end in turmoil. I'm just pulling for them when the series is complete.
Unser telling Gemma he was in love with her was completely unnecessary. I'm pretty sure the majority of us understood that anyway. He's loved her since adolescence. I think that was just more or less something Wayne needed to get off his chest before he dies (which at this rate, might not be during the show since the guy has the most resilient cancer fighting skills ever). That was the only obvious reason as to why he would go to such lengths for the MC though, plus they are all family at the end of the day.

For those interested, I just picked up seasons 1-4 for 9.96 each at Walmart. THey're part of their Black Friday sale, I saw them wrapped in the big box the dvds are in for Black Friday and the guy told me I couldn't take them cause they weren't available til 6 pm for sale. But then I realized that they had the seasons on the shelf at 19.96-29.96 each. I grabbed one of each and scanned them and they each came up at 9.96 each. I jumped right on the deal, bought them on the spot, and just got the first 4 seasons for less than $44. Awesome deal. A few months from now I'll pick up Season 5. I'm a newbie, I just started watching at ep 1 of Season 6, but I'm still a die hard fan and am so happy to add these to the collection. Can't wait to get to watching them, gonna start today while the turkey is cooking!

I got Breaking Bad 1-5 for $10 each, minus part 2 of season 5 and Walking Dead 1-3 for $10 each as well.

The preview for the finale scares me. It shows Nero, Gemma, Tig, Chibbs, Juice, Happy, and two Mexicans but no Jax and they're dumping what looks like two bodies in a grave. There's no way it could Jax, is there?
I'm thinking maybe one is the DA and the other is Tara? Or maybe that scene was from early in the season?

The amount of people Jax and the club has killed in the last 24-or-so (show) hours is insane. I'm really curious how everything is gonna play out with Tara and Juice next week, but I'm even more interested in how things are gonna shape up for the final season. Nero and Jax are probably done real soon and its gonna be exactly what Alvarez said it would be, SOA and the Niners against the Mayans and Nero's crew. Kind of back to square one with the Sons vs the Mayans.
