Now Im not saying I think there is any possibility the Shield will ever turn face, because they've been doing this for a year now and eventually, they'll need to branch off and become singles competitors.
BUT,
Do you think, in some alternate universe, it could actually work out? After all the damage they have done to Rock, Cena, Undertaker and all of the other good guys, do you think there is any way the WWE Universe would take them in as fan favorites?
My idea is simple. Big Show eventually pairs up with the Corporation. Shield and Show are sent out to completely dismantle talent, Shield gives them the triple power bomb and Big Show picks them up for a KO punch. Triple H sends them out to situations where the person cant even fight back. Main ideas would be attacking somebody after a brutal Hell in a Cell match, a week after a worked injury (Like a broken leg, in a wheel chair) and Shield will look more hesitant to attack and Big Show will just go right in for the kill. Eventually, Stephanie orders for them to attack a diva, say Kaitlyn, and The Shield refuses to do so. Big Show will try and attack her but the Shield turn on Big Show and give him a Triple Power Bomb and show signs of a face turn. This would lead to a match between The Shield Vs Triple H/Orton/Big Show with The Shield coming out victorious. Then they eventually go their splitting route.
Again, not saying I can see it happening but it would be quite a twist and pretty enjoyable.
Do you guys have any ideas that would make the heavily hated Shield work as faces?

I think anyone could work as a face if it was done properly, though I don't desire to ever see The Shield as faces. Individually, I hope Rollins turns face when they break up.

I think they could work as faces but they wouldn't be as cool. A major part of what makes them cool is that they are so bad and seemingly unstoppable.
When they do break up though, I see Rollins and Reigns being top faces for years to come. Ambrose will likely remain a top heel.

Rollins is definitely destined to become a face when they branch off into singles competition. He was great as a face in NXT as the first NXT champion.

A face shield worked well for Jesse. So well, in fact, that he was going to mass produce it.

I thought they should have turned face right when this story started. Obviously, they are heels, so they are hypocrites. But if they were really, truly against injustice, wouldn't they have dropped McMahon/HHH/Orton in the ring for stealing the title from Bryan? How epic a moment would that have been? Then you have face Bryan and face Shield against the Corporation. Then you can have crying Big Show help the McMahons to even things out. It would have been a way more interesting story I think.

The APA was not exactly like The Shield but they were pretty similar and that worked. Apart from Seth Rollins I think Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns are much more suited to being heels so unless The Shield had different characters, no.

It could work if it was done properly, and not cheaply and done randomly ADR style .

I think the only way it might happen is for the shield to lose their titles so eventually the Wyatt family gets them.
Which would lead to a series of title defenses for them that would see the shield return, possibly by mania.
But overall I think they should stay heel and break up with Ambrose as heel, Rollins as face, and Reigns where ever he's needed at the time.

I don't think so.
When they break up though Rollins hopefully will be pushed as a face.

I think I'm the only one that can see this, but, I kinda see Ambrose starting to doubt HHH's leadership and tries to get Rollins and Reigns to agree with him on it and they act like they agree then when they're gonna like, attack HHH Ambrose jumps on HHH and Rollins and Reigns just stand there and don't help him and then they beat Ambrose up. That way the fans will feel kinda sorry for Ambrose and he'll have a face turn. Even though he has never ever been a face. I can't see Rollins or Reigns do this kind of face turn really.

Ambrose and Rollins were great faces on the indys but I've never seen reigns work face. He seems like a natural heel to me. They're essentially tweeners right now anyway IMO they get pretty good reactions every week. But I could see them working as a face. Just take out the attacks and make them take action against legit injustices in the wwe rather then be the mercenaries they currently are.

I don't need to see the Shield do anything right now except continue what it is they are doing. Once the Bryan angle is totally over I might feel differently but I expect them to get through at least one more Mania together with what they are doing now. I do think they could work as a face unit beyond this angle. Technically, they stand for justice. If they would run out and save Bryan from Triple H's injustice then the crowd would love them. It's not something I think could work for any extended period of time but I do think the fans would cheer the sh*t out of them. The hard part is that they've faced pretty much everyone. I've seen them beat Cena, Ryback and Sheamus, you think I need to see them beat the Wyatt Family? So if a face turn can get them through Mania, or at least to Mania, then I'll be good. I love The Shield and as long as WWE can make it work creatively, I'll support them.

In an alternate universe? Yes. In WWE's universe? No.
WWE has a passion for cheessy faces. They just don't make it any other way. If The Shield turned babyface they would most likely stop being the bad asses they once were, thus making it flop and only appealing to the hardcore fans of them or the casual audience.

As long as they were serious faces, sure, but don't fix what isn't broken.
