Hey all... Just dropped in to share an awesome surprise I received today. My girlfriend of a year and a half and I have our birthdays two days apart (Sept. 23rd for her and 25th for me). Due to a routine medical checkup of mine, out of state, we will be separated on our actual days of birth this year. So today, we exchanged our gifts. I have to say, she totally gets me... Look what she put together:
She's super supportive of the fact I'm a wrestling nerd, and wouldn't have it any other way. Heck, she got us lower bowl hard camera seats for Smackdown this past January (the Del Rio WHC win episode). It's funny, whenever we were relaxing at my place a few weeks back, she'd study my DVD shelf carefully. I had no idea what she was doing, until tonight - making sure I didn't have those two sets already. She found the game, knowing it was a combo of two things I liked - Wrestling and otherwise useless trivia. She just feels bad she wouldn't be able to play with me. Every guess would either be Hulk Hogan, The Rock, CM Punk or Daniel Bryan - the only names she knows (the latter two, thanks to me). Ironically, although she encourages my figure collection, she doesn't bother buying me any, because out of the names she knows I like, for all she knows, I already have 'em. Well, just wanted to share this with you.
