Revolution – Acceptance
Some people just don't know when they're beaten.
I'm not saying it's always a bad thing, sometimes that approach can have a fantastic impact, you only have to look back to Manchester City's title victory two years ago or Liverpool's heroics in Istanbul to see the positive influence that attitude can have. Heck you can look at the way I've responded two demoralizing losses at the hands of Trace Demon for an example that's 'closer to home'.
But in Devilkiller's case, a 'never say die' attitude isn't enough to overcome the odds. Because unfortunately, in all the cases where such an attitude results in success another crucial factor is seen. In all of those cases, the team/person/people in question had one thing that Devilkiller just doesn't have. All of those people, had talent.
Devilkiller can give everything he has to try and win this match, but the sad fact is that everything he has, probably isn't good enough to come close to making this match competitive. I beat Devilkiller, not once, but twice at Battleground, and I did so easily. Credit where it's due, he got back up every time I knocked him down. Every time I beat him to within an inch of his life, he got back up and let me do it all over again. But Devilkiller if you think that Revolution is going to be any different then you're sadly mistaken.
I'm not a cruel man. I do feel for you Devilkiller. My heart does go out to a man who keeps coming back, who keeps giving everything he's got only to find out that it isn't enough. I do feel sorry for you and no, I don't take any satisfaction from beating you back down time after time after time.
So I'm going to be generous. I'm going to finally put you out of your misery. Rid you of these delusions of grandeur so that you can finally see that you're nothing but a clown who has ideas way above his station. It's embarrassing to watch you fall flat on your face every time you come up against any genuine opposition, but I'm going to put an end to it. As I say, I'm not a cruel man... but I know when it's time to be cruel to be kind.
I am the National Champion, a three time National Champion and I'm only just getting started. But one reign with this belt, that only took place because Carter Contra cheated to end my reign, is the only thing you're going to accomplish in this promotion. You've proved that you can go toe to toe with the worst the WFWF has to offer, that's no achievement. You've also proved that no matter how hard you try, you'll never be able to compete with me.
Revolution is simply going to be about me making sure that I never have to step foot in a wrestling ring with you ever again. It's going to be about me making sure that I don't have to prove I'm better for a fourth time. It's going to be about me ending you before you have time to do even more damage to your own reputation.
You're done Devilkiller. But it'd be wrong to villainise me for it, I'm doing you a favour really.
OOC: The last week has probably been the most physically and emotionally exhausting of my life. So no, I'm not happy with this, but I'm just glad that I found enough time to put anything at all up to be honest.
