The Uso brothers have been booked lately, they have been made to look like equal competition to the Shield, and I love how they made a huge deal that Jimmy Uso pinned Roman Reigns for the first time in Reign's WWE career. I'm so happy they didn't put a random team together to get against the Shield, Henry's injury was a blessing in disguise for the tag team division. There match at the MITB pre-show was superb, one of the best tag matches in recent history. I really hope the Uso's are the ones to win take the titles off the Shield and after a solid 4-6 month reign they drop the titles to the Real American's, preferably at Wrestlemania.
I must say though I do wish Tons of Funk were used more on the main show, they remind me of a current day Too Cool and Brodus & Tensai are extremely good big men in the ring.

I like the Uso's a lot. Very talented guys and pretty over with the crowd. I hope they aren't just getting a temporary push because of Total Divas. But the show worked! My wife likes them now too.
As for Tons of Funk; Albert has always been a very good worker. I just think Brodus Clay may suck. I've seen him do 3 moves. You know he's in trouble when the Funkadactyls are bigger stars.

Id be more excited if the WWE was putting as much effort into the tag division as they were early last year when Team Hell No was going on, and we were getting great tag matches & feuds every week. Or any effort for that matter.
Those belts are pretty worthless. They look horrible, and they are basically just used as a prop to make The Shield appear stronger because all 3 have "Belts" If you're the Tag Team champions and you have one match a month where you even defend those titles....an have not had a legitimate feud for those belts since winning them it's completely pointless.
All the WWE cares about are their main event storylines. Everything else, if they can't somehow tie it to the main events, is just fodder for wasted time. It's quite stupid actually because they have a VERY solid tag team division potential
Usos PtP Real Americans Los Matadores (ugh) Tons of Funk 3MB
and they've got a handful of mid carders that have done nothing of importance in like 2 years that they could experiment with as tag teams. Re-unite Kofi & R-Truth, could put Otunga & Alex Riley together with a "better-than-you-jock" gimmick. If Hunico is healthy, get Camacho back with him. Re-unite Hawkins & Ryder.... There are a lot of possibilities. Tag Team wrestling is fun, but the WWE has long forgotten that.

There are a lot of possibilities. Tag Team wrestling is fun, but the WWE has long forgotten that. The Shield need to drop the belts. If they want the tag champs to be part of the Corporation angle, then the belts should be on two guys who HHH can tout around as being "good for business", not on the hired guns. I think they should turn the Prime Time Players heel. It would be a nice subverted way to play on the hype of Darren Young coming out by making him and Titus into HHH's golden boys. The DESIGN of the belts is okay, but I think, but I think the plates should be gold and not copper/bronze. I like Otunga's current gimmick (though he hasn't been on TV in forever) and it should never be changed. And I wouldn't want to see Alex Riley as a heel. I love the guy and think he's talented and deserves a push, but I just seriously don't rate his heel work at all. He's so much more natural as a face. When he's a heel he comes off as a "kid playing wrestler" on the mic sometimes. I never really got into him until he turned face. I'd rather see Riley pushed as a face, if only because I'm worried that if they make him heel, he's gonna hold himself back in the ring to avoid getting cheered (no more dropkicks, flying clotheslines, or energetic explosiveness, just restholds from now on) and it will cause his match quality to dip. I'd rather see him as a face jobber who gets to hype up the crowd with fun matches than as a heel who has to be slow, boring and "methodical". I'd rather see Riley teaming up with a fellow face. Reunite him with Miz, not a permanent team, but an on and off alliance while both guys do their own thing. Something to give Riley a small rub, and something to keep Miz doing something when he isn't chasing singles belts. Or team him up with Santino, and let them do funny segments backstage.

PTP is getting a nice face push now too. Not sure what triggered that. It seems that the tag divison goes in spurts.

Tons of Funk are being used horribly, in fact they aren't even really being used right now. PTP is getting a nice face push now too. Not sure what triggered that. It seems that the tag divison goes in spurts. Darren Young coming out is what started their push.

Team Hell No didn't feud with anyone but each other until they got paired up with The Shield. I would agree they could work harder telling stories within the division but they don't really do that anymore for the midcard and tag division. Why can't the Real Americans and the Prime Time Players have a feud where Zeb calls out Darren Young for being gay? I mean he called out Del Rio for being an immigrant so it's not like they haven't gone there before. Those two teams could go back-and-fourth over that issue and have it be interesting for 4-8 weeks and it would keep them busy. Same goes for the Usos and The Shield. Give them something of substance to beat each other up over for a couple PPVs.
At this point though, The Shield has defeated everyone. I'm not complaining personally because I think they are an awesome tag team, but there isn't another team that's been built up to stop them. JBL said something like them being the Muhammad Ali of the tag division and all the other teams are victim to it.
I have less issue with WWE not building tag feuds than I do them not being able to build US Title and IC Title feuds. Those two belts should always have a feud around them. The Ambrose and Ziggler feud actually has some substance because of how it ties into the Corporation angle, but what has Axel done during his reign? This is why WWE doesn't have new stars hitting everywhere. There isn't an opportunity for these guys to cut promos against each other, have meaningful matches, and really stand a chance to stand out and shine. Triple H and The Rock are a perfect example of why midcard feuds are so important. Those guys leading DX and the Nation felt like a bigger deal to me at the time than what was going on in the main event. When is WWE going to push their midcard that way again? Probably never, but even the WHC fails to have a story around it 80% of the time. You can't make people care if you're not telling a compelling story, that's just the truth.

Pushing him just because he's gay is just as bad as firing him for being gay would be.

He has come so far and the crowd is starting to love him. The hot tag pops he got vs the Wyatt's and sheild on Monday were incredible. And he's improved like crazy in the ring

Titus O'Neil has tons of star quality, but his ring skills need to catch up. He's funny, charismatic, and he's a big imposing dude in the ring. He would really be a total package guy if he could work. That's why he's great in a tag team so that WWE can take some of the work load off of him but still get all his personality onto TV. I think Titus would have been pushed regardless, but they do seem to be receiving this push due to Young's coming out party imo. WWE got national exposure from it and if we've learned anything it's that WWE loves national exposure.
As a side note, did anyone watch Titus get completely wrecked by Cesaro's big spin on Smackdown last night? Hilarious. He was dizzy and stumbled all over the ring until the end of the match. I felt horrible for the guy but I was laughing the entire time.

They should make a real star team. Like RVD and Kingston or something to fued with Rollins and Reigns. Have a 2-3 month feud. And have someone feud with Ambrose too.
