Yukio Blaze vs. Scarlett Quinn
If there was any doubt that new WFWF general manager Jason Anders is carrying out the agenda of owner Trace Demon then that should pretty much be wiped away with the booking of this main event. Scarlett Quinn and Yukio Blaze have both been in Trace Demon’s targets recently and while Yukio’s time as the centre of Trace’s attention has since passed he finds himself drawn back in here, only instead of an opponent he’s become a weapon. Yes, that’s right, Yukio Blaze is being used as a weapon by Trace Demon to try and weaken Scarlett Quinn ahead of their WFWF World Heavyweight Championship match at Scars & Stripes. Of course that doesn’t mean there’s nothing in this one for Yukio Blaze because a win over the World Champion would immediately put him back in contention, but can he get the job done where very few others have? Or will Scarlett Quinn continue on her roll in singles competition?

Shawn Malakai vs. Reverend Shadow
We don’t use the term co-main event often but there’s no other way to describe this one. Two legends of the WFWF who have between them won everything there is worth winning but now find themselves at very different points in their careers. Reverend Shadow is the returning legend, the man who has rode back into the company in a blaze of glory racking up victory after victory. Shawn Malakai is coming off of the biggest loss of his career, a loss some claim to be unfair, as he left Battleground without the World Championship he so wanted. Now with Scars & Stripes on the horizon, and with it a chance to headline Superbrawl, everybody will be wanting to build momentum but none more so than these two who want nothing more than to reach the promised land that has eluded them both – the main event of Superbrawl.

Ace Bennett vs. Jon O’Deeves
Ace Bennett has tried his best to make ammends. He has had himself one mighty tough road as of late, trying to redeem himself for the actions of his last run. You know, f*cking over Cross, abandoning Raider in his time of need and generally siding with three of the most vile men to ever step foot in a WFWF ring. Yeah...that. He has spent the last few weeks trying to make up for his mistakes, and has recieved an ass kicking by the likes of Demento, Thunder, Brock Maxx and Yukio Blaze for his troubles and yet every time he has come out victorious. He might have awoken a much bigger demon though this passed show, neglecting to mention a person whose history with him dates back even before his previous run. It has been a few years since his face has graced the screens of WFWF fans around the world. But knowing where the spotlight shines brightest and where he can make the biggest splash has always been his greatest skill. Jon O'Deeves, former two time WFWF National Champion and former cohort of Ace Bennett has returned for a short time to exact revenge upon the two men who wronged him, abruptly ending his last run in the WFWF. This week he is getting his shot at the first one of those men, Ace Bennett. Oh dear, the drama is almost uncontainable for this ring. This is going to be one hell of a match.
WFWF INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT QUARTER FNAL MATCH
Joe Bishop vs. Thunder
Last week Trace Demon shocked the entire WFWF when he announced that he was vacating the WFWF International Champion, but few will have been as shocked as Joe Bishop. When Joe Bishop agreed to work with Trace Demon at Battleground he was promised a future WFWF International Championship match in return so it was much to the current National Champion’s surprise when he found out that if he wants to be International Champion he won’t have to just beat one man, he’ll have to beat three! The first of those men being WFWF legend Thunder. Thunder knows full well what it feels like to be a champion but he’s not been at that level for some time now but that’s something he has the opportunity to change. Only one man can proceed in this tournament but will it be the legend looking for former glory or the rising star looking to add a second title to his waist?

Mak Cross vs. Dex
You only get one chance to make a first impression, at least that’s how the old saying goes, but if you’re Mak Cross that one chance isn’t enough. The WFWF fan favourite is asking for a second chance, a chance to wipe the slate clean and start again so Jason Anders thought hey, why the hell not? Of course Jason Anders’ logic is to book Mak Cross in a first round tournament match against someone who is already making a very impressive first impression. The mysterious man known as Dex has in just two matches proven himself to not only be a very formidable competitor but also a very successful one but it will still come as a surprise that this early in his career he’s getting the chance to jump up the rankings and compete for the International Championship, a title that has been held by just about every big name star in WFWF history. Both of these men look to add their name to that list but while one will advance the other will fall. So will it be Mak Cross’ new start or Dex’s first start? We don’t care, we just want to see who wins.

Jayson Garrett vs. Ace Andrews
There’s a lot of successful men in the WFWF but very few have as much success outside of the company as they do in it. Two hoping to manage that feat are Ace Andrews and Jayson Garrett. The two men are hugely successful in their respective careers, Ace Andrews being a huge mogul in the business world while Jayson Garrett comes from a career in Hollywood where he’s apparently a big deal, we wouldn’t know, Trace doesn’t let us watch any films after we kept making bad film references in the match descriptions. Anyway, they’re both big deals and they’d like nothing more than to add to those impressive resumes with a little slice of WFWF gold and the International Championship is an awfully sparkly piece of gold, trust us, we’ve seen it in pictures. Now while money never wins one of these men will, advancing one step further to proving that not only are they successful in like but they’re also successful in the WFWF, which as we can all agree is much more important.

Devilkiller vs. Dave Demento
It’s been a difficult time for both of these two men. While Dave Demento has etched himself as one of the most consistent performers in the WFWF he hasn’t turned those performances into consistent victories. Meanwhile former WFWF National Champion Devilkiller has gone from an undefeated streak to a losing streak in the space of a few weeks. Now as they step inside the ring together one of them will get a chance to turn that around, but it’s not going to be an easy task. Devilkiller has an impressive size and weight advantage over Demento but the former tag team specialist has had much more experience tangling it up in big match situations thanks to his high profile opponents. Now both men will be looking to their respective advantages not only to get the big victory here but to move one step further to the International Championship, a title that could solidify their spot in the WFWF for good.
OPENING CONSTEST!
Andrew Carter vs. Brock Maxx
This one is simple. Andrew Carter is a man everyone had high hopes for but after some disruption backstage and a string of losses he’s slipped down the ladder. Brock Maxx meanwhile was thrust into a big time match last week, teaming with Yukio Blaze in a losing effort. This match is important for both men. Carter needs to prove he’s still worth WFWF’s time and Maxx has to prove that he’s much more than “that guy who teamed with Yukio Blaze in his debut” which trust us, isn’t a particularly catchy nick name. It might not seem like much to you but this one is make or break for both men. Win and be known, lose and be nobody, it can’t get any simpler than that.
