Guess this is goodbye. (Rob Retirement Thread)

Not really sure where to start with this, but would appreciate you reading all of it if you can.

Suppose i can start off by saying that i know i haven't been the most popular animator on the board over time, and i have fallen out with a few people but hey, its the internet so i guess this stuff happens .

Anyway, i would just like to firstly say thanks. Got a lot of people to thank which will come up in a sec but yeah. I've had a lot of fans (mainly young ones) who enjoy my content, enjoy the top 5 animations etc, and it really gave me motivation to carry on, i loved hearing so much praise. I started out in 2011 with no friends on the board, i'd never spoken to anyone before on skype etc, and had no idea how anything worked. Was awesome meeting so many new people on here that i never had interacted with before.

Competing in matches was probably the best thing i ever did involving animation. At the time i saw it as being the greatest thing i could do involving wrestling animation (little did i know i'd enjoy making a show a hell of a lot more) however, i loved every match i'd competed in and sometimes it became second nature that i HAD to compete in every ppv. Just a shame i never managed to actually win the big one. Had so many great matches with the likes of Stevo, Arrow, Fave, Angus etc. And i loved every minute of it.

I know i've only been here for 2 years and some of you may be wondering why i'm leaving so soon but you'll probably have all guessed by now if you havent seen me posting already, that im currently at university, and im sitting at my computer desk right now, doing homework, playing GTA (a little but hehe) and i only have a small flat. Im living about an hour away from home and i cant keep travelling back every weekend due to the practicality of the situation. It makes sence for me to stay at university and live here, so i can do all my work here. Unfortunately, i have no space for my arena, and cannot really make animations. I would love to be able to make them and compete in every ppv, but i think luckily (for me) its come at a right time as ppv's seem to now be dying out anyway

I'll try make sure i get FCWONS completed sometime someday, sure, it'll be a while before i do as i will only be working on it limited times (xmas holidays, half term etc) so can only work on it a bit at a time. But i hope the match i recently uploaded was a good enough bit of animation to leave on for you all

i'll always regret not being able to win the whc, after having multiple chances (mitb, many matches etc) however, i can take out of the board and my time here saying i held the EK and HF title at the same time, only JWS can say that. I have also managed to be the only guy in wfigs 10 year history(or however long the board has been running) to hold both of them titles for the longest time. Sure, the titles are slowly devaluing nowdays (no offence josh for HF) but still, at the time they meant a lot to me i guess and i did al i could to hold them. Suppose i can say i never actually lost EK and i'll remember all the 7 months i held it for.

If i can find time, i may make a few desk ani here and there and stil upload them to my youtube channel but, for now, i suppose all i can say it thank you for everything, and goodbye for now.

Will i return one day? maybe, i dont know as i cant tell the future but im not saying no -set in stone - but for now, i'd say its goodbye.

in no particular order...

Arrow - when i first met you i never always saw eye-to-eye with you and tbh i thought you was really annoying - i guess the feeling was mutual - but the past year we've become close buds and you're an awesome guy who i want to keep in contact with. Loved all our matches we've had over the past couple of years and i remember saying if you ever won the WHC, i'd retire. Well, here i am i guess haha-im glad i can retire and say, i was undefeated against you Good luck in your filming career bro.

Stevo - Other than me being your biggest fanboy for your animations since day one, im glad we've kept in contact over the past year on facebook. You're one of the guys who got me into animating back when i was 14 so its cool to become friends with a guy who inspired me. You're actually an awesome guy, and im amazed you managed to balance animation for wrestling with your college because i've been through two weeks of it already and i can honestly say i've never seen so much work in front of me...Keep animating how you do, because you're awesome. Both years, you've won me the 5v5 battle and i thank you for that. I hope to still keep in contact with you and im annoyed i cant leave here sayign i've beaten you, cause you've always put me in my place haha.

Jack (fireball) - Not really spoken to you that much until recently but im glad i have as you're a cool guy who is good at what you do involving pic feds. Im so jealous at all the figures you have and i wis i could afford to have that many haha! You've always supported me involving my youtube channel and tbh, i think its pretty cool how i had such a fan for the top 5 animations so thanks man.

Scott - You're such an awesome guy. I love how we share the ame music tastes no matter how widely spread it may be from Drake to Miseria Cantare. At least we both share something in common Also we're two of the only 3 guys to cash in mitb and lose, so highfive i've always been a big fan of your arenas and your old stage was amazing. Please try and remake that. We used to fall out all the time back in the day but im glad we get on a lot nowadays. Good luck to whatever you do in future man.

Angus - Where do i start...although you're younger than me, you've practically treated me like a younger brother and i've felt that "older brother". You've helped ,e no end in the past with animations including tips on how to get better, string positioning etc and i remember saying "i will never be able to do grapple moves i only like HF" and now look at me, i love doing grapple moves. Dont think i've ever fallen out with you, i'll try and stay in contact with you as much as possible as i love our conversations, whether its taking the p*ss out of arrow or anything animation wise. I'll never forgive you for demolishing me back in 2011 at Christmas chaos but im glad i finally got the win over you a couple PPV's back. You're such an awesome guy, glad we became friends.

Blake - again, not really sure where to start. I remember when we first met, and you hated my guts about the fact i rated aniators on top 5 and we used to argue all the time but you've again, become one of my best friends on the board and i'm glad you commented on my top 5 vid a couple years back to have a go at me. I'll never forgive you for walking past me in New York and not saying hi cause you wasnt aware it was me... Loved al our skype calls that have gone on for hours whilst i eat dominos and watch Raw and you start humping shawn michaels and Torie wilson. You've had to put up with me showing you all my animations and having to tell me whether they're good or not and you still did it, even though you hated it. Glad we becae friends man yuo're an awesome guy - hope you become popular with your new youtube channel as i p*ss my pants with laughter watching your omegle vids.

Josh - We've never really seen eye-to-eye. We always used to argue, like, massively argue on skype and they'd be a lot of name calling a year or so ago, But recently we've become friends and i've enjoyed chatting to you on skype. You're a good animator but i'll finally admit, im jealous how easy you have it with that structure Never forget the time i made you paper belts, posted them to you and when you received the, you had a god at me for them not being plastic/mattel looking. what did you expect? XD You're pretty much the only main eventer alive on the board so, i hope you can go on to get the whc, and do it before i did

Fave - Honestly, you're a ing awesome animator. You're too modest to admit it but its such a shame you're too lazy to carry on cause the stuff you produce is awesome. Wont forgive you for ending my HF title reign though you're a funny guy and we've had a few heart-to-hearts on skype and tbh im just glad we managed to become mates. Im jealous of the amount of awesome figures you have, and tbh, you're just a 'Dumb Bloke'

Jordan (jws)- Not Really spoken to you that much mainly cause you dont have skype, you dont have Msn but i have interacted with you a few times on here via personal message and also on youtube messages. You're a cool guy and have helped me out with a lot of animation techniques. Im happy how much support you've shown me over the years with my animations and how you comment on a lot of them. really helps with my motivation so thank you. Keep doing al your awesome animations man.

Matt (M B G1211 and Rob (hardyboyzwwe) - both you guys pretty much got me started with animating. I used to love watching you, matt, especially when you uploaded those mma animations i used to think they were the bomb. I was also a major fan of watching you rob mainly cause i'd never seen animating as god as yours back in the day and i used to believe you were the greatest animator ever, i still think you are one of. I think i discovered both you guys before i saw stevo's animations so it was awesome to finally get to speak to you(matt) and become friends over facebook etc when i used to aspire to be as good as you. Keep doing your figure wednesday vids no matter what anyone says, i love them

Ross - We've not really been the major closest of friends but recently i felt we got to know each other quite well and you seem like an awesome guy. Just a shame you're so sh*t at fantasy football You're an awesome animator and one i also used to look up to back in the day before i knew any of you guys. RDP78, thehardyboyzwwe, M B G1211...you all used to be my favourites, then stevo came along and he was added to the list and the list became bigger and bigger. Not really sure what you have planned for the future but i hope we stay in contact.

Andeh - Again, never really spoken to you until recently which i regret, as you seem like a pretty sound guy. I think its cool how you came back and won the euro title and hardcore like it was nothing...i love seeing your videos appear in my sub box. Its a shame i dont know you enough to know what we have in common or whatever but i hope you can rebuild the board back up to its peak and keep the mod spot. Thanks for letting me host the final ppv and im sorry it didnt turn out as well as hoped. Hope we keep in contact on skype.

cooperman - Even though i dont agree with the way you go about things, and your anger issues involving the way you used to rant to me on skype, you were my first friend i got on skype and the guy i used to speak to. Haven't spoken to you in a while, where you been hiding (animation wise too?) but i think you did well to get as good as you did - shame yuo didnt believe in yourself to go for higher titles, as you stayed in beginers div. too long imo. Thanks for being my first skype friend i guess

Callum (wwematteldude - whether you see this or not, you kinda had to be mentioned. You have been a close mate of mine on skype for quite a while now - mainly cause you live so close to me i remember speaking about me driving down to pick you up then we go get elite 16 together from TRU the week after i passed my driving test haha. Shame that never happened :/ Not spoken to you in a while now pop up sometime soon man, we've had a few good conversations over the years

Audie - We've spoken a few times over the past few years and you're also another one of the "big names" whom i never managed to beat. I'd still class you as my biggest 'winning moment' when i drew with you to defend the HF title and i retained with the stip being huricanrana. I felt like such a boss that ppv haha. You're an awesome animator and an awesome guy - used to love coming to watch your blogs and stuff, back when nobody knew who i was. Your match with sabu vs cactus jack was one of the most if not THE most entertaining match animated i've even watched - hell, probably better than any smackdown match i've watched! Keep up the good work man. Hope to finally get my win over you some day down the line...

Showoff - recently become friends, awesome dude and i hpoe you dont get too bothered when i call you showsh*t...its all banter

jdp - You have the potential to be a good animator, keep on practising and taking advice from everyone and you'll do well.

RyRy - felt the need to mention you. Not really sure if you like me or whatever but i think you're a cool guy (mainly cause of all the sexy chicks you show us on skype haa). I've enjoyed our past conversations and our battles for the EK title.

kkdarden - i've not really spken to you much, but you're like the little animator who i love watching animate (your animation, not actually watching you do animation that'd be creepy) you're an awesome animator and you're only 12 - unbelievable. I started at 14 and i was about as good as WSE..keep it up man.

Dutt - Again, not always seen eye-to-eye with you but when we get on, i think you're an awesome guy with good banter. You always liven up the chat on skype. You also got me into TNA which i've been watching recently...love it. Sorry for being a douche to you in the early days.

wes - where you been man? havent spoken to you for ages. Used to speak to you all the time. I used to feel so sorry for you the way you got treated in the skype chats you got bullied by everyone but you still kept coming back, kudos brother. Hope you come back online soon so we can have a catchup.

Well i hope thats everybody...if i missed anyone im extremely tired and its hard to remember everyone i've interacted with over the past two years.
