So is WWE giving the World Title some prestige back or keeping Cena busy until Bryan or Orton are done with the WWE Title? I am happy with this match as Cena and Del Rio have alright matches with each other and the World Title may finally be viewed as a top Title again, something it should always be looked as. Anybody else happy-ish with the match choice? Hopefully if Cena wins, no more opening PPV's for the Title. - One In Need Of Enlightenment

I think this is building toward title unification at mania.

I think this is building toward title unification at mania. I hope so. Personally I'd love it if they could just unify these two belts then give more prestige to the I.C title and just do away with the U.S title.

Swerves at PPV will tally at 4 straight.

Nope. It's a lose-lose situation imo. I don't want to see Del Rio as champion and the last thing Cena needs is another World Title win on his resume. Sandow just got beat cleanly by a ing fameasser tonight. So it's not like he'll be running out to save us either. You want title prestige? How about creating a good storyline, building up a real feud, and following through on some payoff. It doesn't take John Cena to do that. Instead, we are getting the stalest wrestler on the roster vs. the most boring. Should be a real humdinger...

Cena will probably win the title at Hell in a Cell just to have Sandow cash in so Cena can add another unnecessary title win to his resume.

What happened to determining a number one contender? Why does Cena just get a title shot? Secondly, obviously WWE completely makes up Cena's timetable for return whenever he gets injured. Has he ever once been out even half as long as they suggested he would be? Finally, what a waste of a return. He could have showed up to a massive pop, instead they spoil it like Punk's return. Just horrible, all the way around.

TBH, the thought of this either makes me want to fall asleep or throw-up. The two most boring wrestlers on the roster in a match with each other, should be a real barnburner.... It's sad how afraid WWE is to go without Supes for more than a couple months. What the do they expect to do when he has to retire?

All I know is that if Cena legitimately had the injury he did, and he wrestles this match two months after, I actually hope he hurts it during the match to the point where it ends his career, because both him and the WWE would deserve it for being such a dumbass. Tell me how big of an bunghole I am all you want, but if Cena let them pressure him into coming back that soon from that injury, he ing deserves it. Even if he feels great, he shouldn't be back this year period, as a precaution. If he ends up severely hurting himself, it will have been his own doing, and he ing deserves it

All I know is that if Cena legitimately tore his triceps, and he wrestles this match two months after, I actually hope he hurts it during the match to the point where it ends his career, because both him and the WWE would deserve it for being such a dumbass. Couple of things. ~Oooo, edgy, wishing the guy's lively hood was stripped from him because he's a team player. Not cool. ~WWE is laughing all the way to the bank here. Their star player comes back and makes them more money, jokes on you. ~WWE are not dumb people. Now being run by wrestlers, and people who know them, they wouldn't willingly let Cena wrestle if he's not cleared. Ex: Daniel Bryan. Match stopped because he had a stinger. They're careful. ~BitterCenaHater.jpg

Imo if cena wins and has long run with it people will view it as a title with more prestige

At Battleground, all the announcers talked about during the World title match was whether or not Sandow would cash in... It's not smart logic, but it's still WWE logic that a guy doesn't have to get built up through wins to cash in MITB and win the belt. Look at Daniel Bryan's run as MITB holder.

I feel Cena should be given some more time to heal. The guy's been carrying the company for the last 8 years with little to no break apart fro the injuries he has suffered. He's probably banged up and the last thing WWE needs is to bring Cena too early. But, if Cena is fine and ready by HIAC, more power to him and WWE. I feel that announcing Cena as the #1 Contender for the WHC is ridiculous and is shades of Survivor Series 2008 when Cena returned and in his first match back defeated Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship. It's understandable why WWE did it because they believe that having Cena at the PPV would increase the buyrate. At this point, John Cena may topple Ric Flair's 16 recognized World Championship reigns if he beats ADR at HIAC, with that title reign being #14 on Cena's resume. I don't know how to feel about that.

The only wrestler who I want to come back from an injury and face the title at HIAC and win is Christian. He beat RVD and Orton clean. lol with just a backslide pin! Dammit ADR ! Is my least favorite Heel and Cena is my least favorite Face. -.- I hope this match doesn't happen at HIAC.

Putting the title on Cena will do wonders for its credibility.

Not long ago there were reports that injury announcements would have exaggerated return times to keep te crowd guessing. It worked, and I'm glad they're doing it. Everyone had him penciled in for a Rumble return.
