I have more time now so I have to vent a tad bit more.
This is a terrible decision by Hogan and TNA! I'm a huge Hogan fan, but he has NOTHING to do in TNA. 4 appearances in WWE in a year would be more important than his whole TNA run. If Hulk has 1 last match in him the perfect place would have been WM 30, there is no match in TNA anyone wants to see him in, heck there is no feud or storyline anyone wants to see him do in TNA. WWE owns his history and his fan base want to see him in WWE. I just don't understand why he would go back to TNA. I guess us Hulkamaniacs will never get that moment to see Hulk in WWE again. Sad day for the Hulkamaniacs.

-- Egh, he's just duckin' Helwig. He knows The Warrior would drop him like so much Mania 6!

Hogan to the WWE for WM30 might have been a pipe dream, but it was still nice to think about.

I don't believe that WWE offered hogan less money then TNA. In fact I don't think any one on the WWE roster makes less money than the maximum amount TNA could've offered him. It makes no sence how a financially struggling company with half the fan base can offer hogan more money than the publically traded WWE TNA is not financially struggling. Panda Energy is worth literally four times more than WWE.

This is a fantastic opportunity to sign Meng, The Zodiak and the Taskmaster and Hogan can feud with the Dungeon of Doom again. Sigh. If they want me to start watching again then they will do that.

If WWE really wanted Hogan, I have no doubt they would sign him. The fact is at this point, in a PG era WWE, bringing back Hogan for a Legends contract "isn't what's best for business". I put Hogan in the same class as Scott Hall, Chyna, even Ric Flair. The last several years, these superstars have had very bad reputations. Why would WWE or Mattel want to go near these liabilities? Especially one as controversial as Hogan, whose twitter antics, personal and private woes, sex tape/scandal, etc., have given him a very speckled resume. Have you heard Hogan voice the Dean in the Adult Swim cartoon China, IL? Vulgar stuff....

the good: It's hulk hogan. While not really relevant. He's still a name and brings something to TNA. Also the way he's been used, is fine and completes the pupose.
the bad: He costs too much. He has the potential to overshadow everyone else. If his signing does not impact signing other. more integral talent, then fine, keep him. Also keep him if his signing doesnt warrant bringing in the likes of Bubba the love sponge, knobs, or Bastion booger.
the ugly: More than likely Bischoff is back too, and that means more garret:(
The really ugly: Broooke Hogan. Please do not resign this beast unless her character is gonna be one that falls off the stage every week then you can automatically push this to the good.
Bottomline, It is what it is and I have a feeling this is more Spike TV's influence than anything
Edit: personally I think this is a stupid move by tna, but then when doesn't tna do something to completely f up a good thing.

I'm gonna say what I think happened, which is the same thing that happened with Taz, "WWE didn't want Hogan, so he went back to TNA where stupid Dixie opened the doors and kissed the floor Hogan stood on and he resigned." Honestly, I doubt TNA could be able to offer "more money" than WWE could have ever offered him, so I'm gonna call bullcrap dirtsheet info to make Hogan look better. My opinion on what happened. Thank god WWE didn't sign him, and poor decision by Dixie to resign Hogan.

I read Hogan is expected to come back to TNA after WWE 'low balled' him with an offer. The offer is rumored to be about as much as The Rock or Lesnar gets paid for one match...uhhh, was he expecting to be paid as high as a performer.
I have zero interest in seeing him in the ring again. The dude has such a noticeable limp walking that I'd be afraid his entire body would turn into dust if he laced them up one more time.

Hulk Hogan has nothing to offer either company to be honest. I understand WWE's take on the situation, while he is great for merchandise and fan appearances he wouldn't be allowed to compete (considering Ric Flair isn't either) and with his recent personal allegations against him he isn't exactly what WWE needs or wants these days. He offers nothing to TNA, he doesn't boast ratings or help with creative so I'm not sure why he was resigned other than for his merchandise. However I would of thought he would of made a bit more signing a legends deal than returning to TNA, considering WWE would of shelled out a ton of merchandise. A new biography DVD, special appearances, a NWO hall of fame induction, Mattel merchandise? But I guess it just wasn't enough for him.

Well, I'll believe it when I see it - but if it's true, I'm really disappointed... gutted, actually. I just really wanted Hulk to sign some sort of Legends deal in WWE (similar to Bret Hart's maybe) - that way we'd get to see him every so often, and have things like DVD releases/interviews and (of course!) Mattel figures. Lots and lots of Mattel figures. Plus, there's something special about Hogan in WWE... and a surprise appearance at Wrestlemania 30 would have been awesome.

And suddenly every single 'Hulk Hogan Leaving Sooner then thought?' thread gets deleted. F4W said a month ago 'hogan would probably stay.' and everyone just completely ignored it and began speculation. In TNA he's the centre piece, he's the G.M. He's important. In WWE? A washed up nobody. where as i get what you're saying i disagree. Hogan is bigger than TNA, but WWE is bigger than Hogan, WWE doesnt need the Hogan Hype, TNA can still benefit from Hogans name, WWE created Hogan they can still use his DVD stuff etc so its not like they need him for the right to market him, the only reason WWE should want or need him back is for a match but I think WWE know they wouldnt get another match outta Hogan unless it was another Hassan Hogan thing where its basically Hogan taking out the heel foreigner which has been done to death, and it wouldn't be worth entertaining the deal Hogan would want for that.
