Many viewers of Homeland have been bitching that this season has been "slow" and some have suggested this show has jumped the shark. Many people were wondering how Homeland would get itself out of this hole. Well, tonight's episode certainly shut all the critics up. *SPOILERS* Carrie and Saul have been working together all along in order to lure the Iranian terrorist (and financial banker of the terrorist attack that happened last season) Javadi out of hiding. Thoughts? Opinions? Satisfied with how they "dug" themselves out of this hole? BTW: here's an interview with exec. producer Alex Gansa about what just occurred www.tvguide.com/News/Homeland-Game-On-Postmortem-Alex-Gansa-1072323.aspx

I expected some type of ruse to be going on, Not necessarily that though. "Eh" is my only response. At least this episode was better than last week. That stuff with Brody was beyond horrible.

Really shocked by the responses. Every other response I've read has been highly receptive to the "con" they pulled. Hell, I think a lot of people that *are* upset are upset because they couldn't figure out the storyline.

Hell, I think a lot of people that *are* upset are upset because they couldn't figure out the storyline. It drew a decent response out of me, I was surprised. I honestly didn't even consider that they were working together so I was surprised it happened but it wasn't this big 'OMG holy crap moment'. I still watch because I don't like to give up on shows but I started to get disinterested when the show started to become a love story between Carrie and Brody.

my problem with this season of Homeland has been Brodys daughter.she has taken up WAY too much screen time and I have zero interest in her.
also the Carrie/Saul thing is very "meh" to me also.

^ I HATE Dana and hope Dexter's short lived apprentice just kills her.. I didn't see that twist. I guess I'm okay with it I just wonder when Brodie is going to be on more.
