Not me since I can't pay my launch edition X-One off since I ordered from Amazon. But I did get free shipping and no tax and it's guaranteed to be at my house by 8 PM on launch.
I am however trying to pay off Ryse, Dead Rising 3, and Battlefield 4 which are the launch games I'm getting.

If you wanted to (though it doesn't make much of a difference), you can purchase Amazon Gift Cards and have them emailed to yourself to apply to the order. That's what I've been doing. Gives me peace of mind knowing exactly what I owe, and not having to worry about them taking $500 out all at once.

Heads up: If you pre-ordered an Xbox One through Amazon, check your account.
Something has happened over the last few days and nearly everyone who changed their payment method, delivery address, or paid with gift cards have their delivery date as "we'll notify you". In short, after multiple calls, emails, and chat sessions from various parties we may still be getting our consoles on launch, or not at all. Some have had their orders cancelled. Phone support basically says that if you changed your payment method, you're SOL. Essentially, there's a very good chance that if you made any change to your order whatsoever, Amazon gave your console to the next person in line.
I now have a customer service supervised assigned to my account who is supposed to call me with updates, for all the good that will do.

I honestly don't think buying a new console in the first year of release is worth it, not enough titles or a large enough games library to warrant the 400-500 bucks. I'd rather wait until next fall.

Amazon is notorious for screwing people over with pre orders.

Amazon is notorious for screwing people over with pre orders. For sure. I've been screwed over by them multiple times, so I ordered my console elsewhere. I ordered a few games from Amazon because they were cheaper, and guaranteed delivery on release day (which they didn't do as recently as last year), but they've let me down too many times to get my £350 for a PS4. Looks like I made the right call.

I've resigned myself to the fact that unless I come into $500 in 18 days, I won't have mine on launch. But I moved into a house recently so money for that was a little more important than a gaming console on launch.
....and now I realize that I'm old. This sucks.

Even if you did come up with the money you'd have a hell of a time finding one without a pre-order.

I just bought a new house and that is the only reason I am only getting one of them (X-Box One). And honestly right now that is pushing it. I still have my PS4 pre-order scheduled on Amazon, but I guess I will have to cancel it soon. Though it feels weird. I have an XBO pre-ordered on Amazon as well, but due to their history I also pre-ordered it on Best Buy. I plan on cancelling the Amazon and keeping Best Buy.

Looks like it may have been a glitch. My, along with most other people's orders that were effected have returned to a "November 22nd by 8pm" delivery estimate. I understand that these things happen, but Amazon Customer Service should have been on point with it and been able to quell customer fears immediately. I got different answers from email, chat, and phone support over a 24 hour period, no one was on the same page.

I'm just playing the waiting game. My PlayStation 4 and Killzone Shadowfall are completely paid off. I'm extremely excited, and I figured we might be able to make a good conversation out of this. One of the most exciting parts for me about awaiting the next generation is that I've completely paid it off way ahead of time with my hard earned money. Getting a console as a Christmas present when I was a kid was an awesome feeling, it's extremely exciting, but it feels really cool to know that I'm not a kid anymore. I've pulled extra hours at my job to earn the money to buy it for myself. My Vita was the first console I ever paid for completely on my own, but this is the big one. Not a handheld. Maybe it's just me, maybe I'm lame, but I'm kind of proud of myself. What about you guys? Definitely not lame, and awesome job mate. To get it as a Xmas present is always awesome, but earning it yourself, just feels better to me as well
