Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on the stuff going on in the DC Universe. I am still relatively new to comics, and have been trying to back track my way through the Trinity of Sin stuff that led up to this, but I have picked up a couple titles from the Forever Evil line up. That said, I didn't really care for what I picked up so far, but am willing to give it a couple more issues on them to see if I am interested.

Arkham War seems pretty good. Read two issues last night. That is under the Forever Evil umbrella.

I really like the main series. It's not Geoff John's nor David Finch's best work but it is good. It starts off on wobbly legs but gets exceptional by the end. Issue 6 and 7 were pure excitement like I haven't seen from Geoff John's since Sinestro Corps War. The art improves as well. The final issues were delayed but I felt it contributed to a better quality. I am a huge Finch fan but I don't like his recent work as much and I attribute it to his inker, Richard Friend, not being suited to his style. I've only ever seen Friend's inks on Lee with Superman: For Tomorrow, which works okay with that kind of style, but Finch is less angular, and has heavier line weights. Under Friend, Finch now has a rough sketchy, angular look.
