This is a long shot storyline, but I was thinking about what I would do with MITB if I was a WWE Booker.
First, I'd have a wrestler like Bray Wyatt win MITB. The next night on Raw, I'd have him make an announcement that he will not wrestle another match until he cashes in his title shot, and that he's going to do it in the most memorable way ever. Have him say the next time you hear his music, it will be for his title match, and have the Wyatt Family and him just sit at ringside.
Then, I'd have the Undertaker win the World Heavyweight Title following the Royal Rumble, and hold onto that title through Wrestlemania. To ensure that he's stillt he champion, any time someone looks to defeat Undertaker, I'd have masked men come in, and either beat down Undertaker's opponent, or DQ Undertaker. Whatever has to be done to keep him with the Title.
During that time, I'd like for his opponent to be John Cena. John Cena challenges him through Wrestlemania for the title, and routinely comes up empty. This will create buildup for a Cena/Undertaker Wrestlemania Main Event, No DQ, Last Man Standing Match.
Super Cena loses at Wrestlemania. Gives Undertaker a good beating.
Before Mania closes and before Undertaker gets to his feet, the lights go out, and we hear Bray Wyatt's music. He begins the slow march to the ring with his family, gives an interview, explains that he's been the reason Undertaker has held the belt, and that he has orchestrated his ultimate Mania moment: Cashing in MITB, winning the title, and ending the streak. He will go for the pin, but before the 3 count, pull Undertaker up. Wyatt will wait until Undertaker regains consciousness and then the match will start. It will be a legitimate, 15-20 min match, no run-ins, possible chain/technical wrestling; but with Wyatt on the complete offensive, scoring near fall after near fall, and using the microphone to preach to the audience. Eventually his cockiness will get the best of him and Undertaker will mount a comeback, and pin Wyatt.
An alternative to this would be to have Undertaker win the Royal Rumble, face John Cena at Wrestlemania, pin Cena, but then have Wyatt cash in and lose, but this would lose part of the mystery behind it.
