I was coming to a point where I knew it was time to get something new. I had a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse that had been so good to me for the last 9 years, but I could tell it could die at any moment. I was to the point where I was afraid to drive anywhere because I was just waiting for it to happen. I knew I needed something bigger, because trying to lug around photography equipment (including 12 foot backdrops) inside a tiny car wouldn't work any longer. I settled on the 2014 Ford Escape, as I had heard a lot of positive reviews on it. This was my first attempt at car buying negotiations, and I think I did very well. I had an offer for $1800 on my car by one dealership, but got another to give me $2000. Plus I got them to throw in some free stuff: oil change, gas card, and a trunk cover. All in all, I got it for just a tad over cost. This is my first brand new car, so I'm pretty proud of it. So this is the new love of my life:

yea buddy, that's nice looking. When my 2001 Saturn gets to the point of your old car, I'm going to go for something roomy as well. You can't go wrong with all of that space. Congrats, take care of it!

I can notice what's cool in the US is what a "Chick car" is in Sweden. And what is cool in Sweden is probably garbage in the US.

LMFAO!!!! Really? My younger bro just text me an hour ago telling me he also bought the same exact car. His 2002 KIA finally took a crap and they told him it would cost more than 4 K to fix. So he ended up leasing the new 2014 FORD ESCAPE. Congrats

This is from a Swedish show from like the early 90s. The car at the start is what is still "cool" And doesn't cost more than a rare WWF figure. Lol.
