Just wondering what you guys think. I know mattel also produces the barbie line. Barbie has been around forever. I know that they have produced barbie in different forms like movies, superheroes, and celebrities. I figure why not try to make a wwe diva into a barbie doll. I realize it may not sell well in stores but what about a rsc exclusive? I figure someone as popular as AJ for example would be a great seller. Thoughts??

The only other lines I'd collect would be highly detailed statues of top tier legends or hasbro/galoob sized figures. Aside from that, I'm sticking to elites.

Not gonna lie, I would buy a Daniel Bryan one if it came with a leather Jacket.

Nope I doubt they would spark an interest. For the sub lines like Superheroes, movies, celebrities like Audrey Hepburn they are all iconic celebrities/characters and there's no diva past or present that fits that criteria.

Imagine how well they could nail the scan from 12 inches!

I've honestly been shocked we haven't seen them have a go at a one off special wwe diva Barbie doll to see how it sells. Same with Hot Wheels. Aren't hot wheels by Mattel? Like what da phuck

They probably would sell, but I rather have my Divas as action figures.

We already play/collect action figures and some would call them "dolls". Let's not make it any worse on ourselves.

Nope, no matter how many diva fans come in here saying they'll buy x amounts each and say they'll sell. They won't. Simple as.

Some good responses. I agree. I don't think that they would sell. But I would love to see them at least try one doll.

I've honestly been shocked we haven't seen them have a go at a one off special wwe diva Barbie doll to see how it sells. Same with Hot Wheels. Aren't hot wheels by Mattel? Like what da phuck WWE designers and artists have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Barbie. Just because they're made by the same large company doesn't mean they would or should muddle the two products which are probably designed and manufactured in separate facilities anyway. From all appearances, WWE Mattel is doing well, and we know how iconic Barbie is. They don't need each other. I think there is a lot more risk than potential reward here. Is there any diva with that kind of crossover appeal? Do mommas wanna buy their baby girls wrestlers? Or would we sell WWE Barbies with the boys, like they do GI Joe 12-inch dolls? On top of all that, I'm running out of space to store and showcase my collection. If anything I'd like the "next line" to be smaller, not bigger. EDIT: Bigger means more detail and an overall more accurate look, but smaller means cheaper and less space, which means we'd probably get more selection over the life of the line.

You could brush & style Daniel Bryan's beard, too.....
Since the clothes would be all-cloth, you'd just need to buy one John Cena and then you'd just buy the different colored clothing each year to dress him in.....
I wonder how long until someone on here starts a "naked WWE Barbie Wrestling Federation"....
Scalpers would be stealing the clothing off the toys out of the package.... and the heads....

I think a 'one off' AJ, put up for sale on WWEShop, would sell.
She seems to sell enough merchandise that they keep giving her shirts and other items.
If you saw her Re-Tweets during Halloween, she has a ton of female fans that are buying her stuff. I'm sure most of them would buy a doll of her as well.
Some kick-ass pink/black, Loves Bites packaging and a Divas Title would look really good MOC. I think the Barbie Team would do a great job with it.

It was already pitched and denied by the Mattel interest groups. Mattel made a Beth Phoenix Barbie prototype and showed it off at the first toy fair under the WWE license and of course it did not draw enough interest to be mass produced.
