Personally in my opinion I would say the Young Guns movies, Young Guns (1988) and Young Guns 2 (1990) because if they were remade today then I honestly think that it could be great and I know the Young Guns movies were classics but still I honestly think that with the right cast that this could actually be remade but as for who could play the following characters let's see but this is merely my opinion:
Billy the Kid (Emilio Estevez)- Liam Hemsworth Doc Scurlock (Kiefer Sutherland)- Jake Abel Richard "Dick" Brewer (Charlie Sheen)- Nicholas Hoult Jose "Chavez" y Chavez (Lou Diamond Phillips)- Michael Trevino Dirty Steve Stephens (Dermot Mulroney)- Shia Labeouf Charles "Charley" Bowdre (Casey Siemaszko)- Emile Hirsch John Tunstall (Terence Stamp)- Gary Oldman Murphy (Jack Palance)- Danny Huston

They touch Young Guns and I will go postal. Believe me I loved the Young Guns movies as much as the next guy believe me I did, they were classics but eventually classics always get remade and if it happens then I wouldn't really be opposed to it provided if it's as good as the original

Masters of the Universe. Lets face it, the 80's one sucked.
Young Guns should 't get touched! Same goes for Breakfast Club, Gremlins, Goonies, or Top Gun.
Another fun movie to have remade would be the Ewoks tv special movies.

This. Remakes for the most part are horrible.

The Garbage Pail Kids Movie. There was nothing at all frightening about the original one.

I believe the new film that is in "development" has the goal of taking place in Eternia and being more of an origin story. So hopefully that project sees the light of day. I think special effects have caught up with He-man's needs at this point. I don't need to see them remake the original necessarily, but I wouldn't mind another NeverEnding Story movie. Maybe an attempt at a more modern spin with cleaner special effects. That's a tough one though because a lot of the charm of 80's and 90's films is the model and puppet work, versus horrible CGI. So I say that with a grain of salt.

It doesn't quite qualify as a remake but I want to see a sequel to the Nightmare on Elm Street remake.
As long as they didn't remake NMOES 2 then we'll be fine. Jeez that movie was bad.

Hollywood needs original ideas. Not anymore friggin' remakes People don't want original ideas. They pretend to want original ideas when they post on the Internet, but really, people love sequels and remakes and adaptations of popular books. People in Hollywood are full of original ideas, it's just a lot harder to get the millionsadollars to make them... Because studios know people love existing franchises.

Only remake things which absolutely sucked in the first place. One movie I would really like to see remade is Prophecy. No...NOT the Walken ones. This was a 1980 movie about industrial waste that contaminated fish ate then the bears ate the fish and turned all mutated. It was pretty good for it's day but the special effects could be SO much better today.

Just a matter of time before they announce an E.T. remake.
