-- I'm just now getting into the Mattel line, to collect the Legends namely. And the belts from Mattel look more authentic than the Jakks belts do. My only concern is, are they worth the $10-$25 I've been seeing them priced at? Also, are they in-scale for most of the Jakks figures (BCA/TTL/R3/RA-CS/UF) ? If you had to rate the quality? And how well do they compare to the Toybiz/Marvel belts from WCW & TNA ?
Any and all help would be much appreciated, thanks everyone!

I think the right choice for you is the Mattel belts, but what belts are you looking to get to add to your legends collection?

To be honest I have a hard time paying more than $10 for a single belt. Cause the way I look at it much more than that I can just buy the figure it comes with and if I don't like it resell it without the belt. For example the Winged Eagle Championship individually goes for $10-13, but elite23 Macho Man is only like $18 shipped which you could probably (easily) sell the figure loose for $10-13 effectively only paying $5-8 for the belt.... but of course it also goes back to how much time you want to put in... With that said.... Mattel belts rock.

I only buy elites and and willing to pay up to $25 shipped for some. I never went back to jakks after buying mattels.

I wouldn't buy belts separately at $10. The Mattel belts are awesome, although I really like the Marvel TNA ones too.

Well it depends on the belt. Their are some rare exclusive belts that Jakks made that will work well w/ Mattels for instance Goldust's gold IC title & Edge's Rated R championship. But for the most part Mattel belts are better.

The Mattel figure sized belts are the best in terms of quality and detail! Jakks don't stand a chance...
