TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Toyota Center Houston, TX 12/15/13 Kickoff: Rybaxel def. The Prime Time Players: Ryback and Curtis Axel may have earned themselves a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships after knocking off the Prime Time Players here tonight. Ryback finished Darren Young off with the Shell Shock.
Straight after the signature WWE intro, the broadcast fades into a video package, which starts off with a shot of a table, an ominous shot of a ladder, and finally one last shot of a chair. We see some more shots of these weapons as Triple H’s voice can be heard, calling for one true, undisputed champion within the WWE. The video is taken away from the weapons and we are taken to multiple shots of Randy Orton in action, followed by him holding up his WWE title and proclaiming this he is “The Face of the WWE.” We are brought back to Survivor Series when John Cena confronted Orton and the two both raised their titles, with Cena’s voice also calling for one champion in the WWE. The video quickly changes its pace and goes back and forth between Cena and Orton trash talking each other, before it explodes and the two erupt in a brawl. As Cena attacks Orton with every weapon available in a TLC match, we once again hear his promise to introduce a ladder into his face, wrap a chair around his back, and put him through a table. The video ends with another staredown between Orton and Cena, with Triple H saying there can only be one champion.
“Never Never” by Korn blasts over the PA System as Michael Cole, Jerry “The King’ Lawler, and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome us to the final pay-per-view of 2013, WWE TLC! Cole promises this to be a historic night, saying we may see the biggest match of all time when John Cena and Randy Orton go one-on-one in a TLC match to crown the Undisputed WWE Champion! JBL mentions how in addition, Daniel Bryan takes on the Wyatts in an Elimination Tables match, and CM Punk battles the Shield in a three-on-one handicap chairs match! King tells us the night is going to start off big, because Cody Rhodes and Goldust will defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Real Americans the Usos in a Ladder Match!
Ladder Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships) Cody Rhodes and Goldust(c) vs. The Real Americans vs. The Usos: Before the match started, Zeb Colter came out and bashed the Houston crowd, claiming that most people here were probably illegal and snuck across the border like “rats.” He promised two real Americans, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro, will take the WWE Tag Team Championships and their country back, warning all the “illegals” in the crowd that they would no longer be welcome here. As soon as the match began, the Usos and the tag champs shared a glance before turning to the Real Americans and dumping them out of the ring to a pop from the crowd. The two teams didn’t waste any time after that, going right after each other with some hard shots. The Usos seemed to be in control at first, but Cody quickly turned the tables and Jey and kicked him in the gut by dumping him out of the ring. Jimmy ducked a clothesline from Goldust and caught him with the superkick, leaving just him and Cody. The two locked up, but the Real Americans slid back in with a ladder, taking both men down with one shot! Swagger set the ladder up in a corner and joined back up with Cesaro, picking up Cody and whipping him back first into the ladder. They grabbed Jimmy and whipped him too, but he used the momentum to climb up the ladder and jump back at them, only to get caught while going for the cross body! The Real Americans held him up, but Goldust came off the top with a missile dropkick to JImmy, taking all three men down! Goldust stands up and grabs the ladder, setting it up in the center of the ring. He starts to climb up and Cesaro is quickly up again, clobbering him in the back. Goldust is able to hold on, and he kicks Cesaro in the head, sending him back. Meanwhile, Swagger climbs up the other side and tosses Goldust off, straight into the Swiss Death! Cesaro climbs up the ladder as well now, but Jey Uso slides back in with another ladder, setting it up next to the Americans. He climbs up and does his best to the fight them off, but he’s out matched and they tip his ladder over, causing him to land on the top rope. Just when things are looking good for the Real Americans, Cody Rhodes springboards and dropkicks the ladder, taking them all down! The fans exploded as Cody gets up, only to immediately get dropped onto a ladder by a Samoan Drop from Jimmy! Goldust slides back in with a ladder, creaming Jimmy right in the head! He gets Swagger with it once too and he waits for Cesaro to get up, but Cesaro ducks under and grabs the legs, tripping him! The fans know what’s coming next and Cesaro starts swinging Goldust, while Goldust is still holding onto the ladder! Eventually the ladder goes flying to the floor and Goldust is helpless as Cesaro swings him right into another ladder! Cesaro raises his arms in triumph after the move, but he’s dazed and Cody slips back in the ring, quickly rushing up a ladder leaning against the turnbuckles and hitting the Beautiful Disaster! The crops pops but Swaggers gets behind him, tripping him and putting in the Ankle Lock! Cody quickly grabs onto the ladder before he’s pulled down to the mat, but the Ankle Lock is still locked in, Cody may have just more damage to himself! Luckily for him, Jey Usos nails Swagger with the superkick, sending him out of the ring! He’s able to land on his feet and Jey shouts US, getting the crowd to respond with O. He sprints, leaps over the top rope and lands right on Swagger! Both men get back up and Goldust climbs up to the top rope, leaping off and connecting with the cross body to the floor! All three men are down as in the center of the ring, Antonio Cesaro and Jimmy Uso are climbing up a ladder, battling it out for the tag titles. Eventually Cesaro gains control and begins to hammer away at him with European Uppercut, he may as well have hit him over twenty times! Jimmy merely drops to the mat. as Cesaro is in prime position to take the tag titles. Cody is up, however, and he grabs Cesaro by the leg, only to get kicked away. Cesaro reaches again and Cody quickly climbs up, taking the fight to him. Cesaro is stunned and Cody bends him over, hitting the sunset flip off the ladder! The fans explode as Cody is able to pull himself up using the ladder, and he lets out a huge roar before climbing back up. Jack Swagger is up again and meets him at the top, the two trading shots back and forth. It seems like Swagger has control, but Cody ducks a shot and nails him with one of the tag titles, knocking him off. Cody stands up and takes the titles down to a loud ovation from the crowd in Houston. Cody Rhodes and Goldust RETAIN the WWE Tag Team Championships
The fans pop as Cody Rhodes remains on the ladder, holding both of the tag team championships up high. The announcer praise the performance of all three teams as Goldust slides back in the ring, joining his brother as he drops down from the ladder. The two embrace before Cody hands him one of the titles, as Zeb Colter looks on from the outside irate; shocked that Cody was able to fight off both of his Real Americans.
Backstage Randy Orton is shown strolling down a corridor with his WWE Championship draping over his shoulder. He has a huge smirk on his face until he runs into the Director of Operations, Kane. Kane reminds Orton of the magnitude of the match he’s in tonight, and tells him not to let the Authority down in such a high stakes situation, especially after what transpired on RAW with Stephanie. Orton snaps at Kane, telling him he doesn’t need to be told how important this match. He tells Kane he knows just exactly how important it is, but says he’s been ready for it his entire life. He promises Kane not only will he beat John Cena tonight, but he will end him. “Not only are we never going to see the World Heavyweight Championship again, after tonight, we’ll never see John Cena again.” Kane says he hopes so, because Triple H has promised nobody from the Authority, including the Shield and Wade Barrett, will interfere later tonight.
Back in the arena the commentators comment on how the Authority seems to be doing their best to fire up Randy Orton before shifting their focus to our next match, the Miz versus Kofi Kingston. They remind us of how they use to be a team, but they just had too much history and eventually the team exploded, which has brought us to this match tonight. A replay from this past week on RAW is shown, where the Miz attacked Kofi Kingston after his match with Curtis Axel and laid him out with the Skull Crunching Finale.
Grudge Match) The Miz vs. Kofi Kingston: The bell rings and the match starts off with Kofi Kingston going straight for the Miz, knocking him back into the corner with a hard right. The Miz has been taken off guard and this allows Kofi to work over him with a flurry of punches, before he grabs him by the arm and tries to irish whip him. Miz counters and whips him to the opposite corner, and he charges, connecting with a big clothesline that causes him to sink to the corner. Miz holds onto the ropes and begins to violently stomp away at Kofi’s sternum until the referee finally steps him and prys him off. Miz gets in his face, but quickly drops it as Kofi is up again. Kofi lunges at him, but gets sidestepped, and Miz kicks him in the back of the knee before dropping him with a neckbreaker. Miz puts him in a seated position and bounces off the ropes, only for Kofi to jump up and come crashing down onto his skull with a huge right. Miz gets back up, and immediately gets put back down by a chop. Kofi decides to use the ropes as well, and meets the same fate, as the Miz counters him with a flapjack. Kofi is down and Miz begins stomping away at him again, driving the boots into the spine over and over. Miz backs off and taunts the crowd a little bit, electing some boos from them. He smirks and stalks Kofi as he begins to pull himself up using the ropes before he charges, only to get dumped over the top! The fans pop as Miz quickly regroups, using the announce tables to keep himself up. He turns around and Kofi leaps over the top rope, connecting with a slingshot cross body! The crowd pops and Kofi hops right back up to his feet, wasting no time as he grabs the Miz up off the floor and tosses him into the barricade! The commentators note how aggressive Kofi is being as he slams Miz’s head into the steel steps before rolling him back into the ring. Kofi climbs up the apron and goes in between the middle and top ropes, but Miz is back up and kicks the middle rope, hanging Kofi there. Miz pulls him out from the ropes and drags him to the center of the ring, where he drops him with a huge DDT! He goes in the for cover, only getting a two. Miz gets frustrated, but doesn’t allow it the frustration to throw him off his game as he puts Kofi in a side head lock. The crowd quickly begins to will Kofi on, clapping and chanting “Kofi! Kofi! Kofi!” Kofi begins to fight back and powers up to his feet, where he rams his elbow into Miz’s gut a few times, getting “The Awesome One” off of him. He bounces off the ropes, taking Miz down with a clothesline, and Miz gets back up, but he’s dazed. Kofi springboards off the corner, connecting with another crossbody! Miz is down in the center of the ring as Kofi looks for the Boom Drop, but Miz moves out of the way! Miz drops to the mat and Kofi goes in for the cover, getting the three! Kofi Kingston def. The Miz
The crowd pops as Kofi Kingston is officially announced as the winner by Justin Roberts. Kofi gets up to his feet and the referee takes his arm, raising it up in victory. Miz is still out cold on the mat as Kofi climbs to the top rope, doing his signature “Boom” clap with the audience.
We are taken to a shot outside of the Toyota Center as Cole hypes up the sold out and jam packed crowd they have tonight here in Houston, Texas. The announcers say the eleven thousand strong here are about to witness carnage because up next is the three-on-one handicap elimination tables match as Daniel Bryan has to taken on the entire Wyatt Family! The announcers remind us of the roles, stating the match will not end until either Daniel Bryan or all of the Wyatts have been put through a table; and an elimination can only occur on an offensive move. Following that, we are shown a brief video package, highlighting the feud between Daniel Bryan and the Wyatts over the past two months. The video ends with Bray’s promise to have the “monster” within Daniel Bryan come out.
Three on One Handicap Elimination Tables Match) The Wyatt Family vs. Daniel Bryan: The fans went nuts for Daniel Bryan as he “YES’d” his way out to the ring, the former WWE Champion was out numbered yet confident going into this handicap tables match. The Wyatts were out next, and only Harper and Rowan entered the ring. Bray decided to stay in his rocking chair and watch the match from the ramp, so perhaps it’ll only be a two-on-one handicap match. Anyway, the bell rang and Bryan wasted no time in going after both Wyatts, taking it to both Harper and Rowan with a series of strikes, taking both of them by surprise. It wasn’t long until they were able to stop him, however, and Harper nailed him in the gut with a hard knee. He began clobbering at his spine and Rowan joined in, dropping Bryan to his knees. The Wyatts continued to just pound away at perhaps the most popular superstar today as Bray just watched from his rocking chair, stroking his beard and enjoying the sight. They were able to beat Bryan down to the ground and they backed up before Harper picked Bryan up and started to hit him with some more hard shots. Rowan goes to the outside and picks up a table as Harper drives Bryan into the mat with a gator roll. Rowan slides the table into the ring and Harper sets it up in the corner. Rowan picks Bryan up and leans him against the table before taking a few steps back and charging, but Bryan leans over him, and Rowan goes through the table! Harper reacts quickly, taking Bryan down with a big boot as the announcers remind us Rowan has not been eliminated because it wasn’t an offensive maneuver. Bray is already flipping out on the outside, furious that Rowan put himself through a table. Harper goes to the outside and gets a table himself, carrying it into the ring. Bryan gets up, however, and drop kicks the table, taking Harper down! The fans pop as Bray stands up from his chair again, and Bryan looks towards him. The fans chant “YES! YES! YES” as Bray screams at Bryan, telling him to strike him down. Bryan bounces off the ropes, looking for the Suicide Dive, but is nailed by a clothesline from Rowan! Bray laughs and sets back down in his chair as Rowan begins to work over Bryan again. Bryan starts to get up, only to get put back down by a scoop slam from Rowan. Harper slowly crawls back to his feet and sets the table up in the center of the ring, and Bray quickly begins shouting out instructions. The Wyatts grab Bryan and place him up to the top rope, and Harper climbs up with him. It looks like he’s going to powerbomb him off the top, but Bryan starts fighting back. He dazes Harper and goes for a Hurricanrana off the top, but Rowan moves the table at the last second and Harper avoids contact with it! Bryan gets up and ducks a clothesline from Rowan, before hitting the ropes and taking him down with a clothesline of his own! Bryan heads back to the top, hitting his signature diving dropkick on Rowan, getting himself fired up again! He backs into the corner as the fans chant “YES! YES! YES!” again, Bryan’s looking for his signature running knee, only to get caught by a discuss forearm from Harper! Harper grabs Bryan and throws him over his shoulder before pointing to a table that’s already set up on the outside. It seems like he’s going to drop him through it, but Bryan counters at the last second and throws him over the top. Harper lands on the apron and stands up, dazed with the table right behind him. Bryan sees the opportunity and charges, connecting with a dropkick and sending Harper through the table! The fans pop as Bray flips out again, Bryan quickly going over to Rowan and getting nailed by a big boot. Rowan picks up him and looks towards the table in the corner, but Bryan counters and whips him into it! The crowd is going wild as Bryan has somehow been able to eliminate both Harper and Rowan, leaving just him and Bray Wyatt! Bray finally gets up for his rocking chair and throws his hat to the ground before sliding into the ring. Bryan slowly crawls to his feet as Bray goes up to him and drops to his knees, telling Bryan to strike him down and let the monster inside him come out. The eleven-thousand plus all chant “YES! YES! YES!” as Bryan looks around the arena, conflicted. Bray yells at him to just do it and Bryan sharply kicks him in the head. Bray sways back a little, but quickly regains focus and simply laughs at Bryan. Bryan’s confused and goes off the ropes, Bray stands up and takes him down with a crossbody on his way back! Bryan is down as Bray picks him up and sets him up for the Sister Abigail, kissing him on the forehead before driving him into the mat. Harper and Rowan stand behind him as he he ceases his laughter and looks down at Bryan, shaking his head at him. He stands up, still staring at Bryan with disappointment clearly on his face. Bray leaves the ring and picks up his hat as Harper and Rowan follow, the Wyatts begin heading up the ramp as Bryan is still laid out in the wreckage of the table.

Back live in the Toyota Center, Cole, JBL, and King are ready and they hype up our next match, with Big Show taking on Wade Barrett, who recently made his return to the WWE the RAW after Survivor Series. After being screwed out of the WWE Championship the night before, the Big Show confronted the Authority, but when he grabbed Triple H by the throat, Wade Barrett made his return and assaulted Show with a steel chair. Barrett mainly worked over his legs, driving the chair into them over and over until Show finally dropped to his knees. Barrett took the opportunity to nail him with the Bull Hammer Elbow, slaying the giant. Triple H has described Barrett as his “Insurance Policy” in recent weeks, saying Barrett will protect the WWE from anybody who tries to do it harm.
Singles Match) Wade Barrett vs. The Big Show: Normally when the bells ring, the Big Show’s opponent would do their best to avoid the former WWE Champion. Wade Barrett, however, was a different story. He chose to stand his ground, enticing the giant to come and get some. Big Show complied with ease, quickly nailing Barrett with a couple of hard shots to the gut, forcing him into the corner. Barrett quickly fought back with his back up against the wall, and started to drill Show in the head a few times with punches of his own. Barrett kicked him in the leg he injured the night after Survivor Series, and Show dropped down to a knee. Barrett took a couple of steps back, measured his shot, and went for a superkick, but Show grabbed his leg! The fans popped as Show stood up and threw his leg down before hitting him with a huge chop! Barrett grabbed onto his chest as the shot echoed across the arena, before Show held him up against the ropes. He sushed the crowd before hitting the chop again, and Barrett dropped down to his knees. His chest was bright red and the fans loved seeing the Authority’s latest addition getting manhandled by the Big Show. Show picked Barrett up and lifted him high above his head, looking for the Gorilla Press Slam! Barrett was able to counter it, however, driving Show straight into the mat with a vicious DDT. Show was down and Barrett quickly regrouped, lifting his head up off the ground just so he could start pouring rights into it. Barrett continued to hammer away at Show’s skull before he finally decided it was enough and slamming his head straight into the mat. Big Show was hurt as he rolled onto his stomach, before trying to push himself up. He got up to his hands and knees when Barrett saw an opportunity, drilling him in the head with a superkick! Show was out and he rolled to the outside, Barrett gloating by raising him arm, much to the chagrin of the WWE Universe. Show started to get up on the outside as Barrett took his time going onto the apron. This proved to be a costly mistake as Show grabbed him and tossed him off straight into the announce table! Barrett bounced off the table and landed hard on the floor as Show let out a roar. Show picked Barrett up off the ground and tossed him back into the ring before reentering himself. Barrett met him as he entered and bashed his knee into the side of his head, causing him to stagger. Barrett climbed up to the middle turnbuckle and jumped, but he got caught! Show had his hand wrapped around his throat before lifting him up and driving him into the mat with a Chokeslam! The fans cheered as Show got back up and called for the WMD! He waited a few moments for Barrett to get when all of a sudden, Triple H stormed out to the ringside area. He began to holler at Show, and Show invited him into the ring, allowing Barrett to hit a chop block to the injured leg! Show dropped down to his knee and Barrett quickly went to work, driving multiple punches into the head before connecting with the Bull Hammer! Show fell to the mat as Barrett went into the cover and got three. Wade Barrett def. The Big Show
The jam packed crowd was livid as Wade Barrett stood above the Big Show with his arm raised, Triple H soon joining him in the ring. Hunter patted him on the back before getting in Big Show’s face, daring him to ever get in his face again. Triple H turned back to Barrett, telling him “good job” before they headed for the exit. Show only began to stir as they headed up the ramp, and he looked furious as he has been screwed over by Triple H for the second pay-per-view in a row.
John Cena is shown backstage with his World Heavyweight Championship to a massive pop from the fans, when none other than CM Punk appears on the screen, without his usual smug look. Cena stops and can't help but smirk as Punk tells Cena as much as he can’t stand him, the last person on this earth he wants to see as Undisputed WWE Champion is Randy Orton. Cena hesitates to thank Punk and Punks tells him to save his thanks for later, for after he takes out the Shield, inadvertently ensuring the main event will go on without interference. Punk admits the only reason why he came to him was to tell him if he is the one to become Undisputed WWE Champion, he’ll be the first one in line for a shot at it. Cena smirks and tells Punk he’ll be waiting, saying he’s been waiting for another match with the Best in the World for a while. Punk snorts as Cena walks off, TLC heading back to the live arena.
Damien Sandow made his way out to the ring, telling the fans to silence. He says Big E Langston becoming the Intercontinental Champion was one of the biggest gaffes the WWE has ever had. He promises that tonight he will rectify their mistake and he will become the Intercontinental Champion. He says he plans on extricating the Intercontinental Champion from Langston and finally bringing it back to it’s past, former glories. “You’re welcome!”

Langston quickly heads to the outside, causing Sandow to scurry, and the chase is on. Eventually, Sandows rolls back into the ring and takes advantage when Langston tries to enter, kicking the middle rope and causing him to drop to the mat. Sandow takes the role of aggressor and pounds away at Langston with stomps and punches, before finally signaling out his right arm. He raises it up and slams it straight back down into the mat before stomping on it a few times. Sandows yanks him up off the ground and grabs him by the singlet, throwing him shoulder first into the steel ring post! The referee tries to keep Sandow separated from Sandow, but Sandow brushes past him and throws Langston to the ground. He measures his shot and hits a flying knee drop to the arm. Langston rolls around, holding his arm in pain before Sandow picks him up again. He hooks the arm and sets up for a snap suplex, but he’s unable to get Langston up off the ground. Langston holds his ground and overpowers Sandow, connecting with a suplex of his own! The fans pop, but using the bad arm turned out to be a mistake for Langston. He tends to it as the referee asks him if he’s alright, and the champion assures him that he is. He gets up and grabs Sandow, only to be tripped into the second rope. Sandow begins choking him out with the rope, but he is quickly pulled away by the referee. Big E Langston RETAINS the Intercontinental Championship
Big E is handed his Intercontinental Championship to a warm reception, before he beats on his chest and lets out a victory roar. He stretches his injured arm a little before shaking it, telling everyone he feels just fine. Langston climbs up a turnbuckle and poses with his champion as Sandow rolls to the outside, fuming. He holds his hair and shakes his head, before muttering to himself that he will get the title. It appears that Sandow’s quest to “extricate” the Intercontinental Championship is far from over, but here at TLC Big E Langston is still the Intercontinental Champion.
The broadcast is abruptly interrupted by United States Champion Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins; the Shield. Ambrose states that one year ago tonight the Shield competed for the very first time in the WWE, and things have never been the same, especially with Dean Ambrose as the United States Champion. He promises after a year of dispensing justice, they can put everything aside because their biggest issue is none other than CM Punk. Reigns says CM Punk believes he is the Best in the World, and he believes their match being a Chairs Match is his advantage. Ambrose, of course, was the first to try his luck, and he was met with a swift chair shot to the gut, right before Punk drove it into his spine. Punk quickly turned around, causing Rollins and Reigns to freeze. They shared a glance and smiled before Punk decided to wing it, throwing the chair at Rollins. He was able to hit him in the gut, but Reigns was quickly on him, drilling him with some hard shots, and causing him to drop the chair. Rollins finally got back to his feet as well, and all three members of the Shield entered the ring. They all looked at each other before grabbing all of the chair and setting them up in the center of the ring. The crowd, the announcers, and the referee looked on in horror as the Shield swarmed Punk and Reigns roared, calling for the Triple Powerbomb! The Shield seemed to be just moments away from tearing each other apart, but you can’t take anything away from CM Punk. Tonight he proved exactly why he is “The Best in the World.”
An advertisement played, hyping the biggest WrestleMania of all time… WrestleMania XXX! The past thirty years have all been leading up to this one night, who will claim immortality on the biggest show in sports entertainment history?
Back in the arena, the theme of WWE Divas Champion, AJ Lee, hits and the champion comes skipping down to the ring alongside Tamina, and the commentators hype up how this could be the last chance ‘Total Divas’ have to take the title away from AJ; and this may by the last chance AJ has to finally prove she’s better than all of the divas on the show.
Singles Match for the Divas Championship) AJ Lee(c) vs. Natalya: Once the match officially got underway, AJ got right into Natalya’s face and slapped her. She laughed and began skipping around the ring as Natalya remained in the same spot, holding onto her jaw. As AJ continued to skip around her, she finally snapped and took her down with a huge discus clothesline! The fans popped as AJ fell to the mat with her legs sticking up in the air, which Natalya quickly grabbed! She was looking for the Sharpshooter already, but AJ was determined to fight out, and she began squirming. She desperately tried crawling to the ropes, so Natalya had to loosen her grip a little to drag her to the center of the ring, allowing AJ to kick her off and escape what surely would have been the end of her title reign. Before AJ gets up to her feet Natalya regroups and lunges after her, but AJ trips her and she crashes face first into the middle turnbuckle. She gets up and AJ charges after her, connecting with a dropkick. Natalya quickly gets back up, just to get hit by an arm drag from the champion. She gets up again and AJ looks for another armdrag, but Natalya blocks it and scoops her up, connecting with a powerslam! Natalya doesn’t waste much time and picks AJ up, only for AJ to fire away at her with some elbows. Natalya is stunned and AJ goes for a back elbow, but she’s caught, and Natalya hits her with a wheelbarrow suplex! AJ is down and Natalya heads up to the top rope, but before she can make a move Tamina pulls on the ropes, dropping her right on top of the turnbuckle! The fans boo as AJ gets back up and joins Natalya on the top, looking for a superplex! Natalya fights her off and lifts her up for a suplex, before dropping her to the mat face first! AJ is out and Natalya leaps off the top, connecting with an elbow drop! She covers, only getting the two, and AJ is able to hold onto the Divas Championship - for now. Natalya gets up, avoids frustration and goes to grab AJ, only for AJ to catch her with a roll-up! Natalya kicks out and AJ gets up, quickly taking her down with a hurricanrana, before turning that into a sleeper hold! AJ locks in the body scissors as well, trapping Natalya in the center of the ring. The crowd wills her on and eventually she is able to fight out, grabbing AJ by the legs and lifting her up for a powerbomb! AJ slides out and nails her with a kick to the back of the head, dropping her to a knee. AJ hits the ropes and goes for the shining wizard, but Natalya catches her legs and drops her to the mat! She locks in the Sharpshooter to a loud ovation, and AJ’s title reign is in serious jeopardy! Luckily for her, Tamina hops on the apron, distracting the referee. During the time frame Tamina is distracting him, AJ taps, and Natalya unknowingly release the hold. Quickly, she figures out what happened, and rams her shoulder into Tamina, knocking her to the floor! She turns around and AJ is back up, the Divas Champion locking her into the Black Widow! Natalya tries her best to fight it, but she eventually has to give in. AJ Lee RETAINS the Divas Championship
Natalya gave it her all tonight, but with Tamina at ringside it was just too much for her to handle, and AJ Lee retains the Divas Championship once again. AJ waits about ten seconds after the bell before finally releasing the hold, and she demands to the referee that he gets her the title. He gets it and hands it over, prompting her to hold it high in the air and skip around the ring. She hops to the outside and waits for Tamina to get back up on her feet before skipping again, and now the duo heads to back. Surely after what transpired here tonight, this isn’t the last shot Natalya will be getting at the Divas Championship.
The broadcast heads backstage one last time, where Randy Orton is pacing back and forth with the WWE Championship around his shoulder. Eventually, the Authority come into view, watching Orton. Orton and Triple H exchange looks for a brief moment, neither man uttering a word before Orton leaves. The broadcast then heads over to somewhere else in the arena, where John Cena is shown getting ready with his World Heavyweight Championship. Michael Cole announces that up next at TLC, it’s the biggest match of all time.
Before our main event begins, a video package plays to hype up Randy Orton versus John Cena in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the Undisputed WWE Championship. It begins by chronicling both of their rises to stardom before their first encounter at SummerSlam 2007, where John Cena defeated Orton to retain the WWE Championship. It shows many highlights from their past feuds, such as Orton punching Cena’s father, Orton hitting the RKO on Cena on a steel chair, and Cena forcing him to say I Quit at Breaking Point. Finally, it fast forwards to the present day, where Orton is calling himself “The Face of the WWE.” It starts from their showdown at Survivor Series, with Cena’s voice calling for one undisputed WWE Champion. The video goes over their encounters from the past couple of weeks, with Orton laying out Cena and promising to end him tonight, then Cena attacking Orton at the contract signing along with promising to hit him with every weapon in the TLC match. The video finishes with them staring off at the Championship Ascension ceremony, with Triple H saying there will be one Undisputed WWE Champion by the end of the night.
TLC Match to Unify the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships) Randy Orton(c) vs. John Cena(c): This was it, the biggest match of all time. John Cena and Randy Orton in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match, with both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships hanging high above their heads. And we were guaranteed to find the true Undisputed WWE Champion, because Kane stated earlier tonight that nobody from the Authority, including Wade Barrett and the Shield, would interfere in this match. Once the bell sounded, the two bitter rivals met in the center of the ring, trading shots back and forth. The fans exploded as the stood in the center of the ring, exchanging shot after shot with each other. Cena quickly started to gain control and got Orton dizzy, so he bounced off the ropes and went for a shoulder tackle, but Orton ducked and Cena went flying out of the ring. Orton quickly followed, taking a steel chair and slamming it into his back a few times. Orton was just beginning, however, as he drove Cena’s spine into the apron and threw him shoulder first into the steel steps. Orton wasn’t wasting much time as he dumped two chairs and a ladder into the ring, but he remained on the outside to do some more damage to Cena. He grabbed a table and leaned it against the corner, before picking Cena up and placing him on it. Orton took a few steps back, charged, but Cena got up and hip tossed him straight through it! The fans popped and Orton was the first victim of many table spills to come. With Orton down, Cena slid into the ring and grabbed the ladder, setting it up in the center. He quickly began to scale the ladder, but Orton got up before he reached the top and grabbed a steel chair, slamming it into Cena’s legs. Cena slid down the ladder and Orton took the chair again, slamming it into his spine. Cena was leaning against the ladder and Orton looked for a conchairto, but Cena ducked and started firing shots at him. Orton was dazed and Cena grabbed a chair himself, smacking him over the spine with it. Orton dropped to his knee and Cena raised the chair, only to get caught by a low blow! Cena fell down and Orton got up, tipping the ladder down onto him! Orton saw an opportunity and took it, placing Cena’s surgically repaired arm into the ladder and slamming it shut! Cena cried out in pain and rolled to the apron as Orton set up a chair in the ring. He grabbed Cena, pulled him out from the middle rope, then dropping him onto the chair with the hangman’s DDT! Orton had the opportunity to climb up the ladder, but he decided to punish Cena more instead. He went to the outside and tipped over another ladder before tossing it into the ring. He came across another table, folded it up, and placed it in the ring. He set it up in the corner, grabbed Cena, and threw him into it spine first with a smirk on his face! Cena was down as Orton set up one of the ladders, looking to grab the WWE title. Cena fought the pain, got up, grabbed the other ladder and slammed it right into Orton’s spine! Orton slid down the ladder, staggered, so Cena took the ladder and nailed him in the face with it! Orton was down, so Cena place the ladder on his shoulders, like he was going for the Attitude Adjustment. Cena hit the AA on the ladder, the ladder crashing into Orton’s stomach! Orton grabbed onto his stomach and rolled to the outside, but Cena wasn’t done yet. He picked up Orton, but Orton fought back and hit him with a jawbreaker. Cena rolled to the apron too, so Orton got back up on it and picked him up as well. Orton looked him in the eyes, showing no emotion, and drove him into the apron with the RKO! Both men were down on the floor after the move, but Orton was the first one up to his feet. He used the apron to pull himself up, before using it to push himself into the ring. He crawled to the ladder, which he began to climb sluggishly. Cena slowly stirred to his feet, and once he saw Orton climbing the ladder, he sprinted into the ring. He tipped it over, causing Orton to drop onto the ropes, and he follows up with the spin-out powerbomb. Cena raises his hand in the air, calling for the Five Knuckle Shuffle to a huge pop. Cena stops for a moment, however, noticing a chair. He places the chair down on Orton’s face, then connects with the Five Knuckle Shuffle! Cena goes to the outside, grabs a table, and quickly rushes back in to set it up. He places it in the corner, but Orton gets up, hitting him with a snap scoop powerslam onto a chair! Cena’s hurt and Orton looks confident, before pounding on the mat and calling for the RKO. Cena’s able to block the attempt, however, and lifts him up for the Attitude Adjustment. Orton quickly fights out, and decides to climb up the ladder, foolishly. Cena regroups quickly, yanks Orton off the ladder and catches him, setting up for the AA! Cena walks to the rope and looks at a table set to the outside, throwing Orton over the top and through the table with the AA! The WWE Universe is going wild, Cena’s all alone in the ring! He begins climbing up the ladder, but when he reaches the top, the lights go out! Nobody knows what’s going on, and when they come on, Luker Harper and Erick Rowan are in the ring! Cena tries his best to fight them off from the ladder, but they overpower him before yanking him off the ladder and putting him through the table! Bray Wyatt watches from the stage, satisfied, as the Wyatts stand over Cena for a few moments before finally leaving the ring. The fans are livid as Orton slowly wakes up on the outside, realizing the situation. He smirks and slides into the ring, looking down at Cena’s body as the Wyatts leave. He mocks him with “You Can’t See Me” before he climbs up the ladder himself and pulls down both titles. Randy Orton is the NEW Undisputed WWE Champion
The eleven thousand plus here in Houston, Texas, are absolutely livid as Randy Orton stands on top of the ladder, holding both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships high in the air. Cena remains out cold in the wreckage of the table, thanks to the Wyatts, much like Daniel Bryan earlier on tonight after the tables match. Randy Orton remains on top of the ladder, posing with both of the World Championships. As Randy finally climbs off of the ladder, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Kane all come out to the stage. They’re all seen clapping and approving of Orton, who smirks back at them and raises both titles. TLC goes off the air with the shot of Orton holding both titles, but now we’re left with another question. Why did the Wyatt Family cost John Cena the WWE Championship? The only thing we know for certain is that Randy Orton is “The Face of the WWE” and the Undisputed WWE Champion.

WWE Monday Night RAW American Airlines Center Dallas, Texas 12/16/13 RAW kicks off with a video package, recapping last night’s TLC pay-per-view extravaganza The main event saw John Cena and Randy Orton going at it in a TLC Match to determine the Undisputed WWE Champion. The match was back and forth as both men pulled everything out of their arsenal to claim both titles. We saw Cena AA a ladder onto Orton, Randy hitting the RKO on the apron, and Cena throwing Randy over the top rope and through a table with the Attitude Adjustment. Cena would go on to scale the ladder, and was just inches away from the titles when Luke Harper and Erick Rowan of the Wyatt Family hit the ring. They yanked Cena off the ladder and put him through a table, allowing Orton to slither back into the ring and claim the titles. The video package ends with Orton standing tall with both titles as the Authority looked on from the stage, applauding.
Michael Cole welcomed us to Monday Night RAW, just twenty four hours removed from the biggest match of all time, where Randy Orton became the Undisputed WWE Champion, thanks to the Wyatts. He is quickly cut off by the theme song of Triple H, as JBL defends Orton by saying no members of the Authority interfered as promised. The fans jeered as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon walked out to the ring with Kane and Wade Barrett, looking as happy as ever. Triple H was the first one to grab a microphone, but when he tried speaking, the Dallas crowd simply chanted “bunghole! bunghole! bunghole!” at him. Stephanie rolled his eyes as Hunter waited for them to finish before finally speaking. He reminds everyone how after SummerSlam he said he just wanted to protect the future of the company, and do what’s best for business. He said in order to ensure what’s best for business would happen, he needed some help, he need some insurance. Because of this, he got the Shield, he got Wade Barrett, and he got the Wyatts. He says it was all a perfect plan, because there were four people they knew couldn’t represent the company properly. Those four being none other than Daniel Bryan, the Big Show, CM Punk, and John Cena. Because of this, he got the Shield to keep CM Punk busy, Wade Barrett to keep the Big Show off their backs, and the Wyatts to take care of both Daniel Bryan and John Cena. He says he’ll let Bray Wyatt speak for himself later on tonight, because they have something else they would like to discuss. Stephanie McMahon took the microphone and said because of their genius plan, they have ensured the future of the WWE, and they have the champion that will lead them into a new golden age for sports entertainment. “That champion is none other than the Undisputed WWE Champion himself, and I’m proud to say he is THE Face of the WWE. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome RANDY ORTON!” The reception was negative as “Voices” blared over the PA System, and Randy Orton made his way out with both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships. The Authority all stood in the ring, clapping as “The Viper” made his way down to the ring looking as smug as ever. He entered the ring as Stephanie handed him a microphone. The champ said he was almost shocked at how stupid the WWE Universe. He says the Authority played them all like a fiddle last week after Triple H hit him with a pedigree. They all thought the fix was in, and that John Cena would become the Undisputed WWE Champion. “You all fell for it, but Triple H and Stephanie McMahon knew what was best for business all along. And that’s me, Randy Orton, being the Undisputed WWE Champion and carrying this company not only into WrestleMania XXX, but the golden age of sports entertainment.” Orton also stated because of his efforts last night, the Authority was officially giving him the night off. The fans were booing everything Orton said, but that quickly changed as the theme of John Cena hit, and the place exploded! Cena marched out to the ring, the former World Heavyweight Champion wasn’t smiling tonight, uncharacteristically. Cena snatched a microphone and said they can stand out here and talk about what’s “best for business” all they want, but it’s clear that don’t have a damn clue as to what really is. “I don’t know if your deaf or if you just refuse to listen to these people, but NOBODY wants to see Randy Orton handed the Undisputed WWE Champion. What these people want to see is Daniel Bryan. These people want to see CM Punk. And above all these people want to see Randy Orton get his ass kicked! Oh, and I’m ready to give these people what they want.” Orton got right in Cena’s face, but Kane took the microphone and calmed Orton down. “You know, John, we value your opinion, but we have to respectfully disagree. Randy Orton as the Undisputed WWE Champion is what’s best for business, And to be quite honest, John, your time has passed. We would like to thank you for all you’ve contributed over the past eleven years, but it’s time for there to be a new face of the WWE. Randy Orton.” Cena smirked and told Kane above everybody else, he was most disappointed in him. “You use to be a monster, Kane, but now you’re not even a man. I don’t know why, but you sold out and you put on a suit. Not only did you let everybody in the back down, but you let all of these people down. All of you standing in this ring right now use to stand for something, and now all you care about is profit. That disgusts me, everybody in the back, and all of these people. Quite honestly, you’re all a bunch of disgraces, and I look forward to taking all of you down.” The fans popped as Triple H took the microphone back, asking John if he really wanted a fight. Cena nodded, so Hunter granted him his wish, saying he can take on Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in tonight’s main event. He smirked before leaving the ring, and all of the Authority following besides Orton. Orton and Cena had a staredown for a few moments before Orton left too, RAW heading to it’s first break of the night.
-Commercial Break-
Returning from the commercial break, the commentators briefly recapped the opening segment before a graphic appeared, hyping John Cena versus the Wyatt Family in our main event later on tonight.
Back in the arena, the Real Americans were already in the ring, prepared for battle as the theme song of the Usos played to a nice pop from the crowd. After they finished the Siva Tau, the commentators announced that Rybaxel were the official number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships, but RAW General Manager Brad Maddox wanted to have another set of contenders ready for the Royal Rumble. Therefore, the Real Americans and the Usos will be having a Best out of Five Series over the next few weeks, with the winners going on to challenge whoever the WWE Tag Team Champions may be at the time.
Best of Five Series) The Real Americans(w/Zeb Colter) def. The Usos: Two of the hottest teams in the WWE kicked off their Best of Five Series with style, putting on a thrilling match that also kicked off Monday Night RAW. The Usos put up a good fight, but the Real Americans were fired up after what happened with Cody Rhodes last night, and Cesaro was able to put Jey Uso away as Swagger pushed him off the top rope into the Swiss Death.
The crowd begins to boo as Zeb Colter joins Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger in the ring, the trio celebrating their victory as Jimmy helped his brother to the outside. Despite the booing, some fans still joined in as the three put their hands across their hearts and shouted “WE THE PEOPLE!” JBL said if this match was just a preview of what we’re in store for the next five weeks, they’ll be no complaints coming from him.
A graphic appears on the screen, showing “The Best in the World” CM Punk versus “The Insurance Policy of the WWE” Wade Barrett being confirmed for later tonight. Another one appears after, announcing that Bray Wyatt will explain the Wyatt Family’s action from TLC last night later on in the show.
-Commercial Break-
Backstage, RAW General Manager Brad Maddox was standing by in his office as Michael Cole informed us he had something he needed to say. Brad said he already knows that he is the best looking and best dressed RAW General Manager of all time, but that wasn’t good enough for him. He says he wants to go down in history as the greatest RAW General Manager in history! He’s already had one great idea of many, saying there will be an eight man tournament taking place over the next couple of weeks to determine the Number One Contender to Dean Ambrose’s United States Championship. The competitors will be The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Brodus Clay, Xavier Woods, Fandango, Tyson Kidd, Heath Slater, and Mark Henry. Maddox signs off by reminding all the ladies that “he’s available” before we go back to the arena.
Before our next match begins, a series of replays highlights all the matches between the Miz and Kofi Kingston over the past couple of weeks, with the latest match occurring last night at TLC where Kofi was finally able to beat “The Awesome One.”
United States Championship Number One Contender Tournament) The Miz def. Kofi Kingston: These two bitter rivals and former tag partners kicked off the tournament with a bang. They battled back and forth, with neither man gaining the edge until the Miz exposed one of the turnbuckles. Kofi unknowingly charged at him and Miz side stepped him, causing him to crash into the exposed steel. Miz quickly went in and hit the Skull Crunching Finale to win.
As the Miz celebrated his victory, the broadcast went backstage where the Big Show was seen arriving to the building. Josh Matthews quickly met him, asking him what his plans were just twenty four hours after being cost yet another pay-per-view match by Triple H, this time against Wade Barrett. Show smirked and told Matthews he planned on paying the Authority a visit, saying he wanted to “talk out” their differences. Matthews didn’t look that convinced as Show walked off, still smiling. What does the Big Show have planned for Triple H and the Authority later on tonight?
-Commercial Break-
We are taken to the Authority’s office, where Stephanie McMahon is telling Kane to get the Shield, after seeing what the Big Show just said. Wade Barrett tried to calm her and Triple H down, promising if he comes in here and tries anything funny, he’ll knock him out. On what was supposed to be a night of celebration, it seems like the Authority is now on edge, thanks to the Big Show.
Non-Title Singles Match) Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston def. Fandango(w/Summer Rae): Fandango had a shot against the Intercontinental Champion here tonight, but Big E has been on a roll and he was just too much for “The Ballroom Brawler.” After a solid match, Big E got the win with the Big Ending.
The fans popped as Big E Langston was announced the winner and handed his Intercontinental Championship. He held his title up high and proud with one arm and pounded on his chest with the other. He climbed the turnbuckles and posed for a little bit, when Damien Sandow was sneaking down the ramp and into the ring. Big E turned around at the last moment and looked Sandow dead in the eyes, causing him to freeze. Wisely, Sandow began to back up, and slowly exited the ring. Sandow backed up the ramp, and Langston dared him to enter the ring. Sandow remained silent as the two had another staredown, but Sandow’s made it clear he still wants the Intercontinental Championship.
Up next, Bray Wyatt will explain why the Wyatt Family cost John Cena the opportunity to become the Undisputed WWE Champion last night at TLC.
-Commercial Break-
Back from the commercial break, it’s nothing but a black screen until a match is struck. Suddenly, a gloved hand appears and raises a lantern, before lighting it. The man blows out the match and drops it before raising the lantern up and the camera zooms out, revealing the Wyatt Family. Bray is sitting in a rocking chair, swaying back and forth as Harper and Rowan menacingly stand behind him. “The devil made me do it” says Wyatt, smiling. He rocks a little bit before speaking again, “Why? That’s the question on everybody’s mind. But I propose to you a different question. Why not? You see, both Triple H and I had something to gain. Triple H had his man protected, and me? Well I got to take Daniel Bryan, and I made him into a monster, just like me. He might not want to accept it right now, but the time will come when he has time. And when he finally does, I - we - will be standing here with open arms.” Bray chuckles before continuing to speak once again, “Now, what about John Cena? First of overall, I got satisfaction out of it. Watching John Cena fall off the ladder and crash through that table, half of it was just for my own personal pleasure. But, that’s only half. You see, you people worship, you idolize John Cena!” Bray starts getting louder with his tone and he abruptly shoots out of his chair. “You people depend on John Cena! You crave John Cena! You all lovvvve John Cena! I’m here to tell you all that John Cena is a lie, and I will expose him for what he truly is. You all so foolishly put your faith into John Cena, and yet you clearly don’t understand the man. You clearly don’t understand myself either, because if you did, you would have faith in me. And that’s what this really boils down to. Faith. You people put your faith into the wrong men, and they will lead you to your ultimate demise and damnation. I, however... I will lead you into light and purify your soul. I will guide you, I’ll show you the truth… the truth of how ugly the world and all of us really are. John might like to play pretend and act like everyyyything is alright… but it’s not. In due time, I’ll prove it to all of you. Playtime’s over, John. FOLLOW... the buzzards.”
-Commercial Break-
We are once again taken to the Authority’s office, where the Shield is finally with them. Triple H is standing and tells the three of them they need to get it together, because the only ones who failed him and Stephanie last night were them. Ambrose tells him it’s not his fault that Seth lack depth perception, with a smug look on his face, of course. Triple H snaps at him, telling him to cool it because they are sick and tired of all they fighting they've been doing. He says the use to be they most feared unit in the WWE, but now they’re nothing more than a joke who failed to beat one man. He tells them if anything happens to him or Stephanie, it’s on them.
Back in the arena, Alberto Del Rio is making his way to the ring as the announcers talk about how he’s been upsetted by Sin Cara two weeks in a row. Cole states that he talked to Del Rio earlier tonight, much to the surprise of JBL, and Del Rio said not only was he finally going to beat Sin Cara, but he was going to snap his arm in half.
Singles Match) Sin Cara def. Alberto Del Rio by a Reverse Decision: Del Rio looked to make good on his promise of breaking Sin Cara’s arm. These two had another fantastic back and forth battle here tonight, but Del Rio hit the rope when Cara was going up top, causing him to crash into the mat. Del Rio capitalized and locker in the Cross Armbreaker, forcing Cara to tap. Del Rio refused to break the hold following the match, so the ref had no choice but to reverse the decision!
Del Rio was in shock, but that quickly turned into anger as he got in the official's face. The official told him he warned him to break the hold, and Del Rio snaps, throwing the ref to the ground. He turns back to Sin Cara, who’s getting up to his knees. Del Rio measures his shot before kicking him right in the skull! Cara simply drops to the mat as Del Rio heads to the outside and grabs a chair. He slides into the ring and wraps it around Cara’s arm before heading to the middle rope. Del Rio beats on chest before leaping off and stomping on the chair! Sin Cara drops to the mat, holding his arm as the ringside doctor tends him. Del Rio remains in the ring, staring at Cara, stoic.
WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust were shown backstage, Goldust is in action against “The Big Guy” Ryback up next on RAW!

Stills from the Kickoff match between Rybaxel and the Prime Time Players are shown, where Rybaxel picked up the win in order to become number one contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships.
Singles Match) Ryback(w/Curtis Axel) def. WWE Tag Team Champion Goldust(w/Cody Rhodes): In a rematch from Main Event two weeks ago, Goldust and Ryback put on another excellent bout, and this time the strength of Ryback was just too much for the WWE Tag Team Champ. Ryback hit the Shell Shock to put down “The Bizarre One.”
Curtis Axel entered the ring, celebrating the win with “The Big Guy.” The duo raises their arms as Cody Rhodes entered the ring to tend to his brother. Cody began helping Goldust up to his feet, but Axel hits Cody with a dropkick out of nowhere! Goldust gets knocked to the outside and Cody bounces off the ropes before turning around into a Meat Hook Clothesline from Ryback! The fans in Dallas jeer as Ryback and Axel each grab a tag title, holding them up above their heads. Rybaxel has made a clear statement to the WWE Tag Team Champions tonight, no matter how you want to look at it.
We are greeted by Renee Young backstage, who asks her to welcome her guest, “The Best in the World” CM Punk. Shes asks Punk for his thoughts on having to face “The Insurance Policy of the WWE” Wade Barrett, not even twenty-four hours after having to face the Shield in a three on one handicap chairs match. Punk smirks and tells Renee nobody thought he stood a chance against them, but he proved everyone wrong. He proved why he is in fact “The Best in the World” when he won. “And no surprise to anybody, ol’ Triple H has been trying to keep me away from the WWE Championship for five months. Let me send this message to Triple H, the Authority, and everybody else. Nothing can stop me becoming the Undisputed WWE Champion. The Royal Rumble is next month, January 26th to be exact. On that night, I will win the Royal Rumble, and I will go onto the main event of WrestleMania XXX where I will become the Undisputed WWE Champion. Tonight, Wade Barrett will be nothing but proof.” Renee thanks Punk for his time as he walks off, he takes on Wade Barrett next!
-Commercial Break-
Singles Match) CM Punk def. Wade Barrett: Both men were hot after last night, but somebody had to take a hit tonight. Even though Barrett came up short, the match went on for roughly fifteen minutes and both men put on one hell of a match. Eventually, Barrett missed an elbow drop off the top, allowing Punk to swoop in and nail Wade with the GTS for the three.
The fans exploded as CM Punk was announced the winner, Punk officially sticking it to the Authority here tonight once again. Punk gets up and shouts “BEST IN THE WORLD!” as the referee raises his hand. Punk climbs up the turnbuckle and begins to celebrate his victory when Barrett gets back up and pushes him off, sending him crashing into the floor! The landing seemed to hurt his already injured ribs, but that didn’t stop Wade from dropping to the outside to continue the assault. He pounded away at Punk until the Big Show’s theme hit to a huge pop from the crowd. Show made his way out and Barrett shifted his focus from Punk to the giant. As the two engaged in a staredown, Punk got back up on his feet and clobbered Barrett from behind! Punk fired away at Barrett, hitting him with shot after shot until Barrett kicked him in the shin. Punk dropped to a knee and Barrett looked to escape, only to turn around into the KO punch! Barrett was out and Punk went to Show, telling him he had an idea. Punk told him to follow, so Show picked up Barrett and dragged him along. Punk went over to the announce table and tore it apart, and Show got the idea. Punk backed up as Show grabbed Barrett by the throat, sending him through the table with the Chokeslam! The fans here in Dallas were loving it as Punk and Show stood tall over Barrett, forging a brief alliance to get one up on the Authority here tonight.
Still to come tonight in our main event, John Cena must face Luker Harper and Erick Rowan of the Wyatt Family in a two on one Handicap Match!
-Commercial Break-
We once again taken to the Authority’s office, where Triple H is seated on the couch, with his head pointed to floor after witnessing the beating his “Insurance Policy” for the WWE took by the hands of CM Punk and the Big Show. Stephanie looked towards the Shield, who were still standing by the door, and told them that it was their job to take care of CM Punk last night, and they failed. So, she’s going to give them another opportunity to prove themselves next week on RAW, where they will face both CM Punk and the Big Show. Roman Reigns assured Stephanie it wouldn’t be a problem, and she told him she hoped so… for their sake.
We are taken back to last week on Monday Night RAW, where Brodus Clay was finally able to defeat the rookie, Xavier Woods. After the match, Brodus refused to let up on the assault and continued to hit Woods with consecutive splashes until he was pulled off by Tensai. After the replay, Brodus Clay was shown heading towards the ring alone, and Michael Cole explained that Brodus told him earlier tonight that he wanted to come out here all by himself, without Tensai and the Funkadactyls.
United States Championship Number One Contender Tournament) Xavier Woods(w/R-Truth) def. Brodus Clay: This was the second match in the United States Championship Number One Contender Tournament, and it was another clash of rivals. Brodus looked to do some serious damage to the rookie here tonight, but Woods was too quick for him. Brodus went for a corner splash, and Woods sidestepped him before rolling him up, getting the three!
The fans popped as Woods bailed from the ring, embracing R-Truth as Brodus Clay sat up in the ring, in shock. Truth raised Woods’ hand high up in the air, whose jaw remained wide open. As Woods celebrated his win with the crowd, Truth looked at Brodus, smirking. Brodus finally got up and he was ticked off, shaking the ropes and kicking the turnbuckles. Woods and Truth headed for the back as Brodus remained in the ring, shouting that he was a “main event” player. Meanwhile, Cole reminded us how the Miz and Xavier woods will move on in the tournament, and this week on SmackDown we’ll see Fandango take on Tyson Kidd as Heath Slater will meet “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry.
Divas Champion AJ Lee is shown skipping around backstage, with Tamnia right behind her. The Divas Champion is in action, next!
-Commercial Break-
Non-Title Singles Match) Divas Champion AJ Lee(w/Tamina) def. Brie Bella(w/Nikki Bella): AJ was able to knock off yet another Total Divas cast member here tonight, as she forced Brie to tap out to the Black Widow, right after Tamina drove Nikki into the steel ringpost.
Following the bout, Tamina entered the ring and handed AJ the Divas Championship, who proceeded to skip around the ring with it, clutching it to her chest. Suddenly, Natalya hit the ring, taking the Divas Champion down with a clothesline! She continued the assault, but Tamina jumped in quickly, tossing her off the champion. AJ rolled to the outside and scurried up the ramp as Tamina remained in the ring, working over Natalya. Eventually, Natalya was able to fight back and she tripped Tamina before grabbing her by the legs. The fans cheered; Natalya locking in the Sharpshooter, much to the horror of AJ Lee! AJ looked on from the stage, helpless as Natalya had Tamina in the Sharpshooter. Natalya’s eyes remained locked on the Divas Champion the entire time, even after she let go of the hold. Natalya motioned for the gold, and AJ’s confidence seemed to magically reappear as she laughed her off, but deep down she must be shaking after what we just saw.
Once again in the Authority’s office, everyone seems to have cooled down when a knock is heard at the door. They all freeze for a moment, before Triple H tells the Shield to open the door. Dean Ambrose complies, and it’s only Brad Maddox at the door, who simply says “I’m sorry.” They looked confused, when Brad is suddenly shoved to the floor and Ambrose is knocked out! Big Show comes into the room and the Shield all over him, Reigns and Rollins pounding away at him as Hunter gets in front of Stephanie. The three men brawl to the hallway, where Big Show is able to knock Seth Rollins out abruptly. Reigns is the only one left and he exchanges a few shots with Show before Show ducks one of his punches and knocks him out too. The Shield are out as Show storms into the room, grabbing Triple H by the throat! Instead of knocking him out, Show tells him “I want you to meet me in that ring this Friday. Be there… or else.” He lets go of Triple H and walks out, smiling; he appears to be happy after giving the Authority a good scare. Triple H remains in his office, fuming, as Kane told him he’ll deal with him on SmackDown, but Hunter insisted that he deals with him.
Up next, John Cena must battle the Wyatt Family in our main event!
-Commercial Break-
Before our main event begins, the announces recap what we just saw backstage, as Big Show ambushed the Shield and threatened Triple H, telling him to meet him in the ring this Friday on SmackDown. JBL called Show a criminal and accused him of assault, before assuring everyone that he and CM Punk will be properly dealt with for their actions tonight.
Two on One Handicap Match) John Cena def. The Wyatt Family(w/Bray Wyatt) VIA DQ: Cena was at a huge disadvantage, not only because it was a handicap match, but he was just twenty-four hours removed from a brutal TLC match with Orton. He took the fight to the Wyatts, and when it seemed like he had Harper where he wanted him up on his shoulders, Bray hit the ring and clobbered him from behind!
The jam packed crowd here in Dallas jeered as Bray stood over Cena, pounding away at him with strike after strike to the head and back. Cena, resilient as ever, began fighting back and he fired away at Bray with multiple shots to the midsection. The fans were getting just as fired up as Cena until Harper entered the fray again, nailing Cena with a huge big boot! Cena was down as Rowan slid back into the ring, joining Harper in the assault on the former World Heavyweight Champion. The two pounded away at him as Bray stood there, laughing and shouting “TAKE A LOOK AT THE MAN YOU PUT YOUR FAITH IN NOW!” Bray stood there, cackling until the crowd roared, because Daniel Bryan was running out for the save! Bray quickly left the ring as Bryan came in, ducked a clothesline from Harper, and took Rowan down with a dropkick! Cena got back up and cleared Harper from the ring as Bryan measured Rowan, taking him down with the running knee strike! Cena looked at Bryan, nodding, as Bryan simply chanted “YES!” along with the crowd. Meanwhile, Bray stood up on the entrance ramp, and precariously he wasn’t angry. He was smiling, and even applauding as Bryan stood in the ring shouting “YES!” RAW goes off the air with the sinister image of Bray standing alone on the stage, clapping.
