Summer of Punk reignited my interest in WWE. Then it was an unmitigated flop. Shield did again and though largely they have been awesome in trios matches that didn't really end up being as interesting as it could have been either. I was happy for Daniel Bryan when he got the belt but I knew it wouldn't last... guess I've just become jaded. Long story short, I guess the Shield was the last thing that really interested me but for me to say the last time the product on a whole interested me, it would probably be back in like the Invasion but I was like 13 then...

I was actually excited for a very short moment when the Shield and the Wyatts were teasing their fight on Raw a few weeks ago. If you eliminate that, I haven't been excited since Bryan won/lost the belt. It's almost like Orton winning just sucked all the life out of the WWE. Before that, I was excited when the Shield first debuted. Before that, CM Punk's pipe bomb/streak and the Nexus would be next on the list. It's been so hit and miss anymore. The Wyatt's/Shield face off was their way of testing the fans' interest in a match. Hopefully their crossovers in each other's stories will eventually lead to a match between the 2 groups. Or maybe I'm just over-estimating how smart WWE's creative is???

I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. I just can't watch guys who are not believable. I understand that it's the new guys era and they deserve to be on top. How are they not believable? Lets think of this in terms of a real life fight. Does a guy have to have 24 inch arms to win that fight? No he doesn't. He just has to know how to whip ass. Your statement makes no sense to me.

That's my point. Do you think you have a chance in a fight with a guy 6'9 350 or a average guy 6' 220?

If you go into the "fight" knowing who's gonna win. What's the fun in that? I think your logic is flawed.

Plus we both know it's all set up anyways so there's no point in bickering.

Like punk vs lesnar that's a joke lesnar would kill Bryan and punk same time.

Logically I can understand what you're saying. It's less likely they'd get the upperhand on him. But it's not completely out of the question. It all depends on how you look at wrestling. A child isn't going to think the way you do. As an adult, we should (at least I feel) look at it differently. We know it's all for show. So go into it expecting a good show.

When they put a jobber against a star. 123 kid kind of changed that I think. None the less it was entertaining.

I do miss the use of jobbers. I understand why it wouldn't work today. But as a hardcore fan (been watching since before I can even pinpoint a memory of it. It's just always been in my life) I wish it would. The stars of today face off so often that we get so many repeat matchup's and it can get frustrating and old.

I love wrestling and have since I was 4 or 5 and now I'm 34. I think the stars of today deserve all that they get cuz they work hard and all that.
