So now after 3 years lets look back at Jeff Hardy's heel turn. I remember the night of BFG 2010 you all said it was an awful idea to turn him heel and that he would suck. Now that it has been 3 years since he was a heel, what is your thoughts on it looking back on it? I think it was awesome and he should defintely turn heel again, he reminded me alot of Raven. This is a very bold statement and it is just my opinon, but I think Jeff Hardy was the most UNIQUE heel of all time. His own entire gimmick back then was awesome from his entrance to his promos to his nick name the 'anti christ of pro wrestling' and his matches. H
Heres a small video package to refresh your memory
And to make the thread a little bit more interesting, what do you like more: Heel or face Jeff Hardy?

Heel was cool but he wasn't in the right frame of mind at that time in his life.

He was probably the best heel TNA has had besides Bobby Roode.

Heel was cool but he wasn't in the right frame of mind at that time in his life. I think around January was when he started to do all that stuff and at Victory Road.. well you know what happened. It was a shame, i'm just really happy for Jeff right now at how well he is doing.

Retrospectively it was awesome. Breath of fresh air, and he added interesting elements to his character. Plus he looked cool as ****. Loved that they changed the ToF to the Twist of Hate. Wish it could have gone on for longer though, so many things could have come from it.

I felt like the whole Victory Road thing really ruined him, I was really hoping they would build to a Face AJ vs Heel Hardy match-up.

I wasn't a fan. I stopped watching TNA until Bobby Roode won the title shortly after Hardy turned heel and Immortal was formed, to be honest. Then again, maybe I was just disinterested in the product then and I was never really a Hardy fan in the first place

Jeff Hardy doesn't remember ever being heel in TNA. I think he was addicted to Pop Rocks or something a little stronger during that time.

I haven't been entertained by anything Jeff has done since around 2002, except for when he was in a ladder/Extreme Rules type of situation, save for his feud with CM Punk. This slightly entertained me, but I still could care less. And then he went and screwed it all up.. again.

I think part of what made the gimmick so great is he really got into it like Heath Ledger and the Joker. His life imitated his art so to say. As much as I loved the gimmick I don't want to see him destroy himself again.

Heel Hardy is the most freshest thing he;s done in 15 years. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I thought it was gonna be a bad idea...not a terrible, but a bad one. First off, its a bad move for business. When you are a small company and Jeff is your top merchandise seller....you need to continue to capitalize on that. As a heel, you will lose some of your marketability in that respect and thus cuz a loss of revenue. Secondly, I didnt feel they had any real top contenders to challenge Jeff at the time. RVD, Angle and Sting seemed to be the only guys. I think TNA did do a good job giving an opportunity to Morgan to step up and perhaps we would have seen more elevated if Victory Road did not happen.
Finally, while I had seen Jeff as a heel in OMEGA, I always felt he was so much stronger as face. After seeing the TNA incarantion of a heel....I was wrong. He was stellar and excelled in this role. Part of me definitely, for selfish reasons, like to see Jeff as a heel again.

Jeff's run as a heel was great work on his part. I'd love to see it again. That, or have his own stable.

I thought his heel run was a cool turn away from his usual, but Jeff Hardy is one of the best pure babyfaces in wrestling imo. He is so unique that you can't help but cheer for him. Not a great talker, and he never really has anything significant to say, but he's the ultimate wallflower and people love him for it. That's extremely rare from what I've seen.
