Has anyone else read about this today? It's a possibility and could really hurt TNA.
"Trips2Florida.com reports that Universal Studios officials will be making a major announcement regarding CityWalk on December 12th. The website mentions the rumor that WWE wants to bring a Hall of Fame to CityWalk and that could mean TNA has to leave the Soundstage 19 that they recently returned to. This is all rumors until the announcement is made next week. The website mentions that the announcement may not be wrestling related at all."

Calling BS. Universal doesnt do month to month leases on their sound stages. Corporate leases are usually good for a min of 3 years....most are like 5 or 7 years. If Universal booted them b/c of the WWE HOF....they would be violation of their lease agreement. In addition, Universal aint stupid. The WWE HOF has been rumored to be there for quite sometime. If this was gonna happen, they would have NEVER allowed TNA to return in the first place. This isnt something that just popped up.

It didn't say anything about month to month leases. If Universal wanted to terminate the lease they could. TNA terminated their lease with Universal so they could try and make money and it didn't work so they came crawling back which is why Universal stuck them in a smaller sound stage. Not saying any of this news report is true but if it was it wouldn't surprise me at all.

They are in a smaller soundstage because their old one was taken over by someone else. Although TNA terminated the lease with Universal, it was a mutual agreement that was amicable. This time around it would more than likely not be amicable and therefore not likely to happen. Also, it's a report traced from wrestlingcontent.com which isn't exactly the most credible source by any means.
