DEAL APPEARS TO BE ALL BUT FINAL - BISCHOFF IS BACK PWTorch - December 9, 2000
Multiple sources have told the TORCH that a deal has been reached that will soon result in a group of investors including Eric Bischoff potentially purchasing World Championship Wrestling from Time-Warner. The announcement date is speculated to take place in the first week of January, however it could occur as soon as next week. Meanwhile, WCW's ownership status has been kept quiet. Numerous front office workers in Atlanta are concerned that the new owners are planning to relocate WCW to the western states, specifically California, Nevada or Arizona (where Bischoff lives). Eyebrows have been raised within Turner determining what the status of wrestlers' contracts may be, as well as other revenue commitments, though this process typically doesn't begin until a deal has been reached. At Sunday's WCW house show in Kearney, Nebraska, the locker room was buzzing with the rumors that Bischoff had achieved his goal of regaining control within the company, as wrestlers began taking stock of their positions in relation to their connections with Bischoff in the past and whether such a move would be good or bad for their careers. The new ownership group, which sources claim includes Tri-Star, perhaps George Steinbrenner and others, may have gotten WCW off the sales rack. WCW head Brad Siegel felt pressure unloading the money-losing division, but even more so Siegel himself wanted to unload it. Siegel was uneducated toward the wrestling industry that when he learned that WWF announcer Jerry Lawler wasn't working under a WWF contract several weeks ago, he didn't even know who Lawler was. Siegel didn't understand the wrestling business, and admitted that to several people. He wore his lack of knowledge as a badge of honor, almost as if it was beneath him - perhaps to cover up his embarrassment for not understand a form of entertainment. Bischoff appears to be on the verge of his second real opportunity to compete with Vince McMahon, though ironically, McMahon himself almost ended up with control of WCW. If the Viacom television deal had fallen apart, it's likely that McMahon would be already finishing the details on purchasing WCW. It was only a clause in his Viacom contract that prevented McMahon from signing a deal with Time-Warner to buy WCW.
Bischoff does not like McMahon, and McMahon does not like Bischoff. Although Bischoff was the golden boy with the Midas touch to his name in the trade journal headlines several years ago. Friends of Bischoff say he believes with a passion that factors within Turner caused the crumbling of WCW. He believes that he has the business sense to compete with McMahon - or at least turn WCW around, which he is inspired to try again. The WCW that Bischoff is inheriting is a different company than the one he controlled during the first year of Nitro. Not only is WCW in much weaker shape, but the WWF is in a stronger position. The WWF going public, and its relationship with Viacom have put McMahon in a much stronger position than five years ago when the Monday Night War began. The WWF is also a more sophisticated product with a better infrastructure. Competing with McMahon today would be much different for Bischoff than it was five years ago. McMahon has eliminated the weak points in his foundation. He isn't allowing big name contracts to expire before resigning wrestlers. Jim Ross has also been instructed to get deals done a year in advance at least - meaning if a wrestler drags his feet, then the WWF has time to downplay that character. Never again would there be a wrestler headlining a pay-per-view one week, and showing up on WCW programming the next. McMahon is also investing in the future with his alliances with developmental territories. His scouts sign the best young talent running the independent circuit to "developmental contracts", ensuring that the WWF has first dibs on the stars of tomorrow. Meanwhile, WCW's Power Plant and alliance with a Georgia independent promotion is pale in comparison with the WWF's minor league infrastructure. Additionally, the WWF's creative direction is no longer relying on one person's creative juices or energy level. With Stephanie McMahon and a number of others on the writing team, there will be no potentially crippling defections such as the Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara incident. Currently, with roster strength, the WWF has seven of the most valuable wrestlers in the industry in Triple H, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit. Meanwhile, WCW has Goldberg, Scott Steiner and Booker T as its top stars, though Bischoff may believe that the star power of a returning Hulk Hogan, a revamped Kevin Nash, a motivated Diamond Dallas Page and perhaps Scott Hall and Randy Savage can compete with the WWF's top tier.
When Bischoff begins doing media interviews, he does have some talking points: how the WWF's ratings have sunk since their jump to TNN, whilst WCW's have risen slightly. Additionally, the WWF have dropped the ball on Steve Austin's return, the Rock's going to take time off to film a movie, and the Undertaker is broken down physically. Bischoff will be able to point to how Hogan, Nash, Page and others have been underutilized, and how he knows how to market their "brand names" better than anyone in WCW has in the past year. Without the shackles of the Turner corporate anti-synergy working against him, he is free to make it a two horse race once more. Bischoff could paint himself as the savior for the industry, and in a way, he is right. He worked to bring investors together to create legitimate competition again. Bischoff will be critical of anyone who even contemplated the idea that wrestlers and fans wouldn't suffer if McMahon monopolized the wrestling industry. He will say wreslters will get fair pay with him in charge. Given WCW's current state, it won't be difficult to improve it right away. The promotion has been in limbo for months, an uninspired product without a compelling direction. Short-terms fixes are aplenty, but long-term success will come only through deep revamping in every field of WCW.

WWF RAW is WAR - Monday 11th December 2000 The Pyramid - Memphis, TN
- A recap from the barbaric Hell in a Cell match aired, reminding us of the events that went down just twenty-four hours ago at Armageddon. Following this, the opening video package for RAW is WAR aired, as we cut to an ecstatic, capacity crowd in the Pyramid for the fallout from Armageddon! Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler introduced us to the show, briefly touching on the hell that was last night's main event, where a new World Wrestling Federation Champion was crowned by the name of Stone Cold Steve Austin, who overcame five of the biggest WWF superstars in sports entertainment to claim the gold for a fifth time. Shots of WWF New York in Times Square, downtown New York City were also shown, as Ross announced that we were scheduled for a WWF Tag Team Championship defense by the new champions, Edge and Christian as they are scheduled to meet a battered and wounded Undertaker and The Rock!- The theme of the Olympic Gold Medalist hit to kick things of, as Kurt Angle soon made his way down the rampway to loud boos from this capacity crowd, Jerry Lawler applauding Angle on his hard-fought effort last night, despite the unfair odds he was stacked against courtesy of Commissioner Foley. Angle got into the ring as the fans continued to boo, Kurt asking the fans if they were happy. The Memphis fans responded positively, whilst Angle barked, rhetorically asking the fans again if they were happy, if the folks in the back were happy! Angle talked about how he came to the World Wrestling Federation thirteen months ago with hopes and dreams, and he began his journey to the top, he won the WWF European Championship, the WWF Intercontinental Championship, he won the King of the Ring, and he won the WWF Championship! But all of that didn't matter after Sunday night, because his hopes and dreams were dismantled, his career potentially shattered, all thanks to the hijinks of Mick Foley! Angle talked about how he would have won that match had it not been for that Hell in a Cell - he saw Rikishi fly twenty feet across the arena, when he was thrown from the top of the Cell into a pickup truck courtesy of the Undertaker! Angle continued, complaining about how he saw Triple H's career possibly shortened when he was piledriven on top of a car! Angle talked about how the worst crime of all was that the WWF Championship is now in possession of a man that has no integrity, a man that doesn't appreciate the three I's, a man that does not appreciate the WWF as much as he does, the "Texas Rattlesnake" Steve Austin! Angle continued to rant and rave, when suddenly the theme of the Undertaker soon hit! The "American Badass" hobbled out to the rampway, the fans electric as the ten year veteran in the World Wrestling Federation appeared, donning sunglasses no less. Undertaker had a microphone of his own, as he told Angle that if he had any intelligence, he would shut his trap right now! The fans cheered, as Undertaker talked about how Angle showed fire last night, he clearly underestimated the former WWF Champion - but the "Deadman" does not forget a thing, and that being said, he will never forget what Angle tried to do, running away from the Grim Reaper! The Undertaker talked about how if it weren't for Stone Cold Steve Austin, if it weren't for Angle's goofball buddies, Edge and Christian, if it weren't for Kurt's wimpy little twin, Eric Angle - that WWF Championship would be his right now. Angle laughed it off, telling Undertaker that he didn't get the job done, that 'Taker could not outwrestle the Olympic Hero even if he tried! 'Taker simply smirked and shook his head, telling Angle that he'll give him this - he's resilient. 'Taker said he liked resilience, it reminded him of a 400-pounder by the name of Rikishi; a man he launched from the top of Hell in a Cell into a pickup truck, rupturing his spleen! Undertaker cut off Angle's thankyou by telling everyone in Memphis that Angle is like a worm, he keeps coming back just to get chopped down and mutiliated - but he always gets back together. But that's why the Undertaker came out here, because he wasn't finished with Kurt Angle. Angle seemed nervous at this point, as 'Taker seemed prepared to make his way down the ramp to go after the former WWF Champion - when Edge and Christian suddenly came from behind, connecting with an impactful Conchairto to the Undertaker! The crowd booed furiously, as Edge and Christian grinned obnoxiously, the new WWF Tag Team Champions having their buddy Angle's back tonight again! Angle got in the last word, as Kurt talked about how the "Deadman" didn't seem to be in for a good night tonight either! Edge and Christian high-fived on the rampway as Angle celebrated in the ring - but will the Undertaker get the last laugh when he and The Rock challenge them for the Tag titles later tonight?- Commercial Break -
- We returned to RAW is WAR to find a limousine parking up in the lot outside of the Pyramid, and with that, out stepped Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, accompanying the Chairman of the World Wrestling Federation, Mr McMahon! McMahon was still walking on a crutch, as Patterson commented on the horrible weather in Memphis tonight. McMahon smirked, calling it "football weather". McMahon seemed to be in higher spirits than he was aggravated tonight compared to last night, as J.R. speculated that he may be here just to fire one man known as Mick Foley.1) Chris Benoit def. Billy Gunn to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship The "Rabid Wolverine" managed to win the WWF Intercontinental gold from "The One" Billy Gunn last night at Armageddon, but Gunn was cashing in his rematch clause tonight on RAW is WAR, with the fans in Memphis behind him. Gunn had control early on, but Benoit soon took over, pounding away at the shoulder of Gunn. Gunn soonafter began to make a comeback, and he did, connecting with the gorilla press slam on Benoit, seemingly setting up for the One and Only! But Eddie Guerrero soon made a slow stroll down to the ring, sidetracking the challenger! This allowed Benoit to fight out of the One and Only, locking in the Crossface, and Gunn tapped!Chris Benoit's hand was raised in victory, as the "Rabid Wolverine" was handed his WWF Intercontinental Championship to a chorus of boos, Eddie Guerrero then walking over to Benoit and raising his hand, as the Radicalz were having a good night thus far - but will lightning strike twice later on, as Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko take on the Hardy Boyz in tag team action!- In the backstage area, Commissioner Foley was shown apparently packing up his things, as Mick Foley seemed true to his word after the allegations of injuries occurring under his tenure as Commissioner of the World Wrestling Federation. Foley continued to pack, when suddenly Kurt Angle walked into his office, Angle glaring at Foley and asking him if he was happy. Foley told Angle to not say anything, but Angle reiterated that he can't believe Mick - that he risked so many lives last night at Armagedon, in Hell in a Cell! Angle told Mick that he hoped Mr McMahon will fire his ass tonight, because he deserved to get fired a heck of a long time ago! Foley seemed irked by the former WWF Champion, and with that, Foley decided that if this was his last night as Commissioner, the bottom line is that he's still in charge right now, which is why tonight, Kurt Angle will put up or shut up in that ring, and his opponent? None other than Chris Jericho! Angle looked startled, telling Mick that he couldn't do this, then reluctantly leaving in a hurry.- Commercial Break -
- An advertisement aired, promoting the WWF Armageddon encore presentation, available tomorrow night. - Returning to RAW, Mr McMahon was shown this time in his office, as Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco questioned to the Chairman whether Mick Foley would actually relinquish his role as Commissioner of the WWF. McMahon replied, stating that it was Mick Foley who said if he lost to Triple H, that he would retire, and he did, and it was Mick Foley who claimed sole responsibility for the injury of any WWF superstars in last night's Armageddon Hell in a Cell match - claiming that if any superstar were injured, that he would resign. McMahon listed the facts, that Rikishi had a ruptured spleen, that Triple H had several herniated discs in his back, and how The Rock suffered a minor concussion - but tonight, if Mick didn't relinquish his role as Commissioner - it'd be Vince McMahon who will relinquish his power personally.2) Hardcore Holly def. Raven by disqualification Raven was the man that cost Hardcore Holly the WWF European Championship last night at Armageddon, and so Hardcore was after revenge tonight on RAW, tackling Raven immediately and firing down on him with some furious lefts and rights. Raven attempted to fight back, as the two continued to exchange shots, with Holly getting Raven with the Falcon Arrow, but suddenly Tazz hit the ring, a garbage can in hand, and he hit the ring, smashing it over Holly's head, instigating a disqualification! The crowd booed, as Tazz stomped away at Hardcore Holly, as Raven soon after recovered and continued the beating on Hardcore! Tazz propped Hardcore up for Raven, who in return connected with the Raven Effect on Hardcore - when suddenly Crash Holly darted out to the ring, Molly Holly in hot pursuit, the Holly Cousins hitting the ring, as Crash nailed Tazz with a running bulldog, Raven and Tazz then retreating! The Holly Cousins were here to stand up against these extremists!- In the backstage area, the Undertaker was shown getting his ribs bandaged up by the trainer, as 'Taker seemed to be in even worse shape after surviving Hell in a Cell, as well as the Conchairto from Edge and Christian earlier tonight. Suddenly, The Rock appeared in shot, seemingly pumped up and ready to go. Upon seeing the "Great One", the "American Badass" rose to his feet, staring Rock in the eye. Rock asked 'Taker if he was ready, as Undertaker said he always was. Rock repeated himself, telling Undertaker that tonight, he's ready to kick Edge and Christian's goofball asses all the way back to Toronto and back. The Undertaker seemed to get more focused, telling Rock that he was ready. Rock then lowered his shades and looked at Undertaker, simply saying "I don't believe you". Rock walked away, as Undertaker was left to ponder what Rock meant! Undertaker yelled after Rock through his own suffering, shouting that he was ready!- Commercial Break -
- An advertisement aired, featuring Minnesota Governer, who promoted the debut of the XFL's first season, launching February 2001.3) The Hardy Boyz w/Lita def. WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Dean Malenko & Eddie Guerrero Lita was assaulted last night at Armageddon in the closing moments of the elimination tag team match between the Hardy Boyz and the Radicalz at the hands of Dean Malenko, and so the Hardy Boyz were hot for revenge against Malenko especially tonight. Perry Saturn allegedly suffered a minor concussion last night in said match, which must endanger Commissioner Foley's position as providing a safe working environment for the WWF locker room. Jeff and Matt kept control, as Malenko remained on the apron for most of this match, hiding whenever Jeff or Matt took a swing for him. Guerrero soon gained some offense however, nailing Jeff with a backbreaker, and the Radicalz began to take control. Guerrero and Malenko grounded Jeff, before Matt soon made the hot tag, continuously going after Malenko - and that's what threw Matt off. Eddie went for a roll-up on Matt, but walked straight into a front dropkick from Jeff, and seconds later, the Twist of Fate from Matt put Guerrero down for three! The fans cheered in Memphis, as the Hardy Boyz' hands were raised high. Eddie Guerero remained down on the canvas, as Dean Malenko remained at ringside, keeping his eyes on the Hardys. However, as he was leaving, Lita came out of nowhere with the Litacanrana off of the ring apron! The Hardys were not successful at Armageddon, but they were tonight.- In the backstage area, Commissioner Foley was shown leaving his office with a box of his possessions, seemingly prepared to leave the World Wrestling Federation! Jonathan Coachman approached Mick Foley, asking him if he was actually going to resign from being the Commissioner. Foley smirked, talking about how he has tried his best to be fair and unbiased in the WWF, but now that it seems as though his time for the end is growing close, it may be time that he become a little more free, a little more biased. Foley didn't tell Coach what he meant, as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler wondered what he had in mind. The Rock was shown walking down a corridor, as Rock despite his spoken about conversation with the Undertaker earlier tonight, is scheduled to team up with the "American Badass" to challenge Edge and Christian for their newly won WWF Tag Team Championships, next!- Commercial Break -
4) Edge & Christian def. The Rock & The Undertaker to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship At Armageddon, we crowned new WWF Tag Team Champions when Edge and Christian stole the victory in a four-corners match also featuring former champions, the Right to Censor, the Road Dogg & K-Kwik and the Dudley Boyz. Meanwhile, The Rock and The Undertaker went through a war in Hell in a Cell, Undertaker coming out worse for wear, suffering a leg injury with an accompanied rib injury sustained by a Conchairto from Edge and Christian earlier tonight - meanwhile, Rock was weakened with a mild concussion. That said, Rock and Undertaker, despite their different standings earlier tonight worked cohesively as a team in the early goings, getting the better of the experienced Tag champs, clearing them of the ring. Edge and Christian soon got back inside and acted cheap to get the better of their challengers, as Christian low-blowed the "American Badass" whilst referee Mike Chioda was tied up with Edge on the apron. Christian and Edge then worked over the weakened "Deadman", going straight to work on his bad leg, stomping away at it mercilessly. Edge and Christian continued their offense until the "Great One" finally got the tag, and he darted into the ring with clotheslines for all, and could have won the WWF Tag Team Championship with a Rock Bottom to Edge, had it not been for Undertaker tagging himself in! 'Taker and Rock got into an argument, which soon ended with Edge charging at 'Taker with a Spear, just for 'Taker to nail Edge with a big boot! Undertaker seemed ready to put Edge away with the Last Ride, but that's when Christian chop blocked 'Taker in the bad leg! Christian and Rock brawled to ringside, when Kurt Angle suddenly hit the ring, upset with comments made by 'Taker earlier tonight, and the former WWF Champion slipped into the ring, connecting with an Angle Slam on the "Deadman"! Edge covered the Undertaker for a huge upset victory, as Angle cowered at ringside!
The crowd booed furiously, as a motionless Edge was helped to his feet by Christian and Kurt Angle, the Olympic Hero handing his best friends with the WWF Tag Team Championships! The Rock soon got in the ring however, sneaking up behind Angle, Edge and Christian - and that's when Edge and Christian realised what was happening and bailed, leaving Angle to get nailed with the Rock Bottom! Rock stood tall, as the Undertaker was shown being checked over at ringside, the "Great One" visibly not pleased with his tag team partner tonight! The Rock was shown celebrating on a television monitor backstage, as the camera pulled out to reveal Stone Cold Steve Austin sat down with a beer, the new World Wrestling Federation Champion is here!
- Commercial Break -
- We returned to RAW is WAR to a replay of what happened during the commercial break as Kurt Angle was being helped through the backstage area by Edge and Christian, though Angle did not ask why the WWF Tag Team Champions didn't save him from the Rock moments ago. The trio stopped when Mick Foley appeared, the Commissioner's stare quickly turning to a big grin, as Foley yelled in the Olympic Hero's face that "karma was a bitch"! Jerry Lawler expressed how horrible the last twenty-four hours have been for Angle, and how he's still yet to face Chris Jericho later tonight!
- We returned to the Pyramid, as the "Ninth Wonder of the World" Chyna began to make her way out to the ring, as the fans in Memphis gave the Playboy covergirl a warm reception, Jim Ross talking about how Chyna had a bad night last night at Armageddon, where she was defeated by Val Venis of the Right to Censor, though not without complications from the persistent Ivory at ringside. Chyna had a microphone in hand, as she thanked the Tennessee crowd for the response. Chyna then went on to talk about how last night was not her night, but it doesn't matter to her because Val Venis isn't the person she is concerned with. The fans cheered, as she discussed how the Right to Censor disagree with Playboy, and how they want to censor her freedom through body language, so to speak. Chyna continued, talking about how since it was announced that she would be the next Playboy covergirl in the World Wrestling Federation, the RTC have been all over her - but it needs to come to an end. Chyna talked about how this doesn't concern Val Venis, it doesn't concern the Goodfather or Bull Buchanan - it doesn't even concern Steven Richards, although one day she will knock that nerd on his ass where he belongs. But Chyna wants one thing - Ivory. The fans cheered, as Chyna talked about how she doesn't care for Ivory's WWF Women's Championship because she is above that - she just wants a match with her, one-on-one. The fans cheered, but that's when the annoying theme of the RTC hit, prompting mass boos from around the Pyramid. Steven Richards came out to the ring with Ivory by his side, Richards waving off the boos, a microphone in hand. Richards asked Chyna if she realizes how foolish she is making herself sound right now. Richards asked Chyna if exposing her body to a filthy magazine was enough, but apparently it was not. Ivory told Chyna that they only want Chyna to realize that they want to help her win the good fight, and not lower her standards to those filthy, filthy fans in the crowd all over the world. The crowd booed more, as Chyna smirked, telling Ivory that she'd love to help her win the good fight and become her own free woman, but that's when Steven Richards suddenly delivered a Steven Kick to Chyna! Chyna was laid out, as Richards and Ivory stood over her, Jim Ross disputing how fair that was from a so-called censorship organization! Jerry Lawler sounded angry on commentary, as the "King" dropped his headset and headed into the ring, almost like he wanted a fight with Steven Richards!
5) Jerry Lawler def. Steven Richards w/Ivory "The King" felt the need to protect Chyna after being laid out by Steven Richards moments ago, Jerry Lawler receiving a hot reaction in his hometown tonight on RAW, as a referee ran down to the ring, getting this match underway immediately. Richards attempted to escape from the ring, but Jerry grabbed Richards by the collar before cornering him! Lawler ripped open Richards' shirt and laid in some harsh chops to the bare chest of the leader of the Right to Censor, before pulling down the strap! Jerry continued to pound into Richards before putting him away with the Diving Fistdrop, gaining a measure of retribution for Chyna!
The fans cheered as Jerry Lawler's hand was raised in victory, a very fast victory tonight on RAW is WAR. "The King" soon attended to Chyna at ringside, as Billy Gunn came out to ringside to check on his girlfriend as well, as Chyna still hadn't moved after the Steven Kick from Richards. Gunn helped Chyna to the backstage area, as Ivory aided to Steven.
- A shot of Times Square in New York City was shown, as the cameras took a glance into WWF New York, where Al Snow was shown hanging out with some fans! Snow was interviewing each of the fans for their opinions on whether Mick Foley should resign as Commissioner or not, to which nobody wanted to see Foley go! Kevin Kelly was shown standing by outside of the locker room of the new World Wrestling Federation Champion, as up next we will hear from the "Texas Rattlesnake"!
- Commercial Break -
- We returned to RAW, as an exterior shot of the Pyramid was shown, Memphis, Tennessee overcast with the horrible December weather, whilst it was still hot inside the Pyramid! Kevin Kelly was shown standing by with the new World Wrestling Federation Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, as Kelly announced Austin as the five-time WWF Champion. Austin cut Kelly off quickly, telling Kelly that he shouldn't call him a five-time champion, because he isn't a statistic - what Stone Cold is, is a legend, who doesn't need to be addressed by his amount of WWF Championship wins! The fans cheered, as Austin continued, telling Kelly about how last night he won a barbaric battle, and he may be sore and bruised from the lacerations he suffered inside of that Hell in a Cell last night, but he is a happy man, and it might just be because he's kicking back tonight to watch RAW is WAR with a couple of Steveweisers, it could be because he's the WWF Champion, or it could be the fact that last night he whooped some ass on five other sons of bitches! The fans cheered, as Austin addressed Triple H, talking about how "The Game" is crying at home because he's got a bad back, because he got dropped on his head on a car last night - and how much of a crybaby Kurt Angle is. Austin then addressed how he's been analyzing the rankings in the WWF, and he can happily announce that whenever any son of a bitch wants a shot at his title - whether it be Angle, Triple H, Rikishi, Undertaker, Rock or anybody in the locker room, he will meet them in the ring and he will be prepared to whoop somebody's ass, and that's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so!
6) The APA def. Lo-Down w/Tiger Ali Singh Bradshaw and Faarooq made their long-awaited return to the World Wrestling Federation after being taken out by T&A sometime over a month ago, attacking Test and Albert last night at Armageddon - and they made it crystal clear in this encounter tonight that they were ready for revenge against Test and Albert for stealing their bar room, for stealing their clients, and for stealing their slogans. Meanwhile, Tiger Ali Singh attempted to root for D-Lo Brown and Chaz in this one, as Chaz and D-Lo managed to get in a double suplex on Faarooq, but the APA quickly made a comeback, finishing off Chaz with a powerful double powerbomb for the win!
The fans cheered for Bradshaw and Faarooq, as their hands were raised in victory, when suddenly Test and Albert hit the ring, attacking the APA from behind! T&A were back to gain a measure of retribution on the APA for last night, as Trish Stratus seemed to be leading the beatdown! T&A soon delivered a powerbomb to Bradshaw, before standing tall over the duo, T&A making it clear to Bradshaw and Faarooq that they had no intentions of moving their operations!
- Returning to the office of the Chairman, Vince McMahon was shown watching RAW is WAR, visibly disgusted by what was going on tonight. McMahon conversed with Gerald Brisco, asking what the deal was with all of these impromptu matches. Brisco said that he had heard that it was all Mick Foley's doing. McMahon chuckled, stating how Foley sure was trying to go out with a bang. With that, Pat Patterson entered the office, handing McMahon some papers. Vince seemed gleeful, saying how happy he was that "it was finally coming to this".
- In the backstage area, Dean Malenko was shown dressing up, as the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion seemed to be dressed formal for the occasion. Suddenly, Eddie Guerrero came into the room, "Latino Heat" flared up and ready to go, as Eddie asked Malenko why he didn't have his back earlier tonight. Malenko told Guerrero that he knows exactly why, because everybody knows how the Hardy Boyz would want to kill him. Eddie fired back furiously, asking Malenko if he found it fine for the Hardys to kill him earlier tonight. Guerrero told Malenko that ever since this little "flamingo redhead loco" Lita came along, Dean's been a different man. Malenko fired back himself, reminding Eddie of when he separated himself from the Radicalz when Chyna came around. The two seemed about ready to butt heads, when Chris Benoit's voice was heard, wondering what was going on. The WWF Intercontinental Champion asked the duo what they were arguing about, why they were clashing. Benoit talked about how they came to the World Wrestling Federation together...and now that's in jeopardy? Benoit told Guerrero and Malenko to cool it off, because they were a team, and they needed to start acting like it! A graphic appeared, as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler hyped up what was still to come, as Y2J Chris Jericho is scheduled to meet the former World Wrestling Federation Champion Kurt Angle in singles action, up next!
- An advertisement aired, promoting the 2001 annual Royal Rumble, live on pay-per-view on January 21, 2001.
- Commercial Break -
7) Kurt Angle def. Chris Jericho Tonight has not been the Olympic Gold Medalist's night, without a doubt. It all started last night when Kurt Angle lost his World Wrestling Federation Championship in the Hell in a Cell match to Stone Cold Steve Austin, someone he was not pinned by for that matter. Tonight, Angle was adamant to turn things around, enlisting the help of Edge and Christian to assault the Undertaker in a set-up at the start of the show. This was followed by Angle returning the favor, costing the Undertaker and the Rock the WWF Tag Team Championships - however, it wouldn't end well for Angle, as Rock fired back with the Rock Bottom for the former WWF Champion. Additionally, Angle was outsmarted by Mick Foley and put into this match with Chris Jericho, Y2J on a roll after defeating Kane last night in a crazy Last Man Standing encounter. Jericho targeted the sore neck of Angle early on, and chopped away at Angle in the corner, but the wise, young former WWF Champion used cheap tactics to get ahead, pounding away at Jericho and immediately targeting the head of Jericho, including catching Y2J off-guard in a fast-paced sequence with a sharp German suplex, landing Jericho on the back of his head! Angle continued to go after Jericho, also targeting the Canadian's ankle, seemingly setting up for the recently established Ankle Lock submission hold of Angle's. Angle continued to wear down Jericho as the fans chanted for Y2J to make a comeback, which he did at last, turning Angle's top rope belly-to-belly suplex attempt into a missile dropkick! Jericho soon got ready to set up the Walls of Jericho, but Angle managed to slip out of it, cradling Jericho for a three count!
The fans booed with displeasure as Kurt Angle hastily slid out of the ring, the Olympic Gold Medalist's hands raised in victory, as Angle was overjoyed about his victory! Angle's night of bad luck had seemingly finally turned around with a victory over Y2J! Chris Jericho looked outraged, as Angle began to leave.
- Mick Foley was shown carrying his box of possessions out of the arena, the Commissioner sighing as he prepared to take his steps out of the Pyramid and out of the World Wrestling Federation. Foley went to leave, but suddenly a security guard stood in his way. The guard told Foley that under instructions from Vince McMahon, he cannot leave the Pyramid. Foley looked at him strangely, inquiring where the Chairman was. The guard told Foley that he would be heading to the ring in a few minutes. Foley dropped his box, and took a deep breath before heading for the arena. What does McMahon want with Foley?
- Commercial Break -
- We returned to RAW is WAR, as the theme of Mr McMahon hit, the Chairman then making his way out to the ring with his cane, a mild limp on display from the Chairman, who got his ass handed to him last Monday night on RAW, courtesy of The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker. McMahon was holding the pieces of paper in his other hand, as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler speculated what could be on the contents of those papers. McMahon took the microphone from Lilian Garcia, as he pronounced that he predicted that it would come to this - how he isn't sure why this man was hired to be an authority figure in the World Wrestling Federation at all. McMahon told the WWF fans so that superstars would get hurt in Hell in a Cell, superstars weren't being treat so well without the overbearing guidance of a true McMahon. Vince talked about how he's waited a long time to do this, to find the right excuse to pull the rug right out from underneath Commissioner Mick Foley - and now he has enough evidence to back it all up. Vince then ordered Mick Foley to get his ass down to the ring. The theme of Mick Foley hit to loud cheers, as Foley made his way out to the ring, though he was not carrying the pleased look on his face as he was earlier tonight. Foley got into the ring and asked Vince why he just wouldn't let him leave. McMahon told Mick sternly that it was because deals had to be signed before someone could leave the World Wrestling Federation, and he wanted to make this a public event - the demise of Commissioner Mick Foley, in fact, the demise of Mick Foley on the WWF register. The crowd booed louder, as Mick told Vince that he knows why he wants to do this, because he wants to demoralize Foley - he wants to screw him over, because that's the kind of guy Vinny Mac truly is. Mick talked about how McMahon wants to paint him in the corporate light he sees fit - but he's forgetting one thing, that he didn't make Mick Foley, that Mick Foley made Mick Foley! The fans cheered, as Foley screeched in the Chairman's face aggressively. McMahon responded calmly, asking Mick if he actually felt that way, how this is going to be how they end their eventful five year relationship. McMahon asked Foley if he thought that about him wanting to screw over anybody that leaves the WWF or even thinks it? McMahon responded, shouting that he was damn right! McMahon talked about how he built this empire up from the ground beneath him, and over the past couple of months, he's seen Mick Foley tear it right back down again! McMahon talked about how he's killing business, hurting poor superstars that these fans tune in to see every week. McMahon even reminded Foley that he said it himself last Thursday night on SmackDown!, that if any WWF superstar was hurt at Armageddon, that he would resign as Commissioner and leave the WWF. With that, Triple H is injured with herniated discs in his spine; Rikishi is out with a ruptured spleen; The Undertaker could have a fractured ankle; The Rock is wrestling with a mild concussion - it's a health and safety hazard! McMahon told Foley that not every WWF superstar is Foley himself, that these superstars don't need to fall from great heights like he did to gain some affection from fans! McMahon decided to wrap things up, about to tell Foley that he was fired, when suddenly...
The theme of the "Texas Rattlesnake" hit, and the fans in Memphis, Tennessee exploded! Stone Cold Steve Austin made his way out to the ring, the new World Wrestling Federation Champion interrupting Vince McMahon firing Mick Foley! Austin got in the ring and immediately delivered a Stunner to McMahon! Vince McMahon was left down and out, and Austin decided to spit on McMahon more, tearing up Foley's resignation papers! Foley was left stunned in his own right, unsure what to make of this! Austin brought in some beers, as the WWF Champion and Mick Foley slammed Steveweisers against one another, downing them! Jim Ross was ecstatic, as was the Pyramid, as he told us to tune into SmackDown! to see where this was going! RAW is WAR went off the air.

great interview by Kurt Angle to kick off RAW only to have it interrupted by The Undertaker. Then Edge and Christian beat him up with the conchairto, I'm wondering if Undertaker and Angle will face off again in the near future, great intercontinental championship defense for Chris Benoit against Billy Gunn. Great confrontation between Angle and Foley, Angle vs Jericho should be a great match, Vince threatening to fire Mick Foley if Foley didn't resign, ohhh boy, let Foley stay, Holly Cousins vs Tazz and Raven, that feud is definitely needed I thought Tazz and Raven had broken up in November, but they're a team again, no problem with Tazz and Raven being a tag team, ha ha Rock and Undertaker psyching each other up before the big tag team championship match against Edge and Christian, hilarious backstage segment between the two of them, Hardys gain a measure of redemption for Lita by beating The Radicals, surely the Lita/Malenko feud ain't over by a long shot, Taker and Rock certainly weren't a 100% in this match, but they gave it their all against Edge and Christian, but a big win for Edge and Christian over Two future WWF Legends puts them in the books for being the greatest tag team ever, Chyna knocked out by a StevieKick and Lawler gets revenge for her, I'm assuming this is the same angle where Chyna broke her neck, at least you didn't go with the piledriver deal, good work with Al Snow trying to save Mick Foley at the NYC Times Square, man there were some good times at WWF New York in the Attitude Era, such a shame that it closed down years ago, now with Austin as the WWF Champion that should've been done after Armageddon, from October 2000 through February 2001. Angle had the title for 4 months, and now in your diary, that was 7 weeks that Angle had the World Wrestling Federation Championship if my math serves me correctly, but him not being involved in a decision to lose the title makes me wonder if Angle's going to get another title match, probably an Angle/Austin championship match might not happen at the Royal Rumble, I see it happening somewhat on a RAW show with Angle winning the WWF Title again with some intereference, great squash for APA taking care of Lo-Down, but T&A are not done with the Acolytes just yet, a Radicals breakup ready to happen soon, they just reunited in November of 2000, and now you're ready to break them up, Great win by Angle over Jericho that puts him further into another WWF Title Shot against Steve Austin in the near future, nice ending with Austin laying out the boss and ripping up the papers of Mick Foley's resignation and both Austin and Foley having a beer together, man, I hope this diary is going to be good, you should do this now, I mean I have no problem with your WWF 1996 Diary. It's great but this diary is off to a great start, I think you should end 2000 on a high note with the WWF Slammy Awards pretty soon, cause I would think that would be epic, make WCW jealous, lol. But keep up this good work and you know i'll be keeping my eyes on this one,

WWF RAW is WAR Wow, I’m excited as dicks for this diary, to be honest. Reminds me of the old 2001 Bob did a couple of years ago with WWF, WCW, and ECW; really looking forward to this. And we’ve both finally made it out of the 90s! Onto the show, good call to kick things off with the former WWF Champion, Kurt Angle. I’m intrigued to see what will happen now that Austin is the WWF Champion heading into the Royal Rumble, but I suppose I can talk about that later. I enjoyed the exchanges between Kurt Angle and the Undertaker, thought Edge and Christian attacking Undertaker was good hype for the tag match later on tonight. Good opening segment overall. I’ll be disappointed if Mick Foley doesn’t walk out still commissioner tonight, honestly. Anyway, good opening contest with Chris Benoit knocking off Billy Gunn to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Oh, Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho for tonight, Angle’s mouth getting him in trouble was amusing too. Hardcore Holly and Raven fighting until Tazz caused the DQ was fine, I enjoyed the chaos post match with the Holly Cousins and Raven and Tazz. That would actually be a pretty fun hardcore tag team match. Hmm, interesting segment between the Rock and the Undertaker, to say the least. XFL, lol. Solid tag team bout between the Hardy Boyz and the Radicalz, I actually enjoyed their little feud back then, and the run in from Lita after the match was good. I hope we get a few more matches out of these teams. Seems like Mick’s up to something for tonight, I’ll let that play out. Edge and Christian retaining the tag titles, albeit interference from Kurt Angle, against the Rock and Undertaker was the right call. Rock nailing the Rock Bottom after the match was fine and I’m interested to see where the issues between him and Undertaker lead into the future. It seems like they both have some problems with Kurt Angle, too, and all three of those guys want Austin for the WWF Championship… hmm. Decent segment between Chyna and the Right to Censor, leading to Jerry Lawler making the save and taking on Stevie Richards. Lawler winning is fine, I’ll let that pass, just because we’re in Memphis. Typical Austin promo here, but it was effective, and I’m looking forward to who challenges him for the title at the Rumble. Logically, it seems like it’ll be Angle or Triple H. Decent win for the returning APA over Lo-Down, and the attack from Test and Albert post match was a fine way to advance the feud for now. Dissention among the Radicals could be fun to play with over the next weeks, but I imagine they won’t actually split until after or right before WrestleMania. Actually, a match for the Intercontinental Championship with all the Radicalz at WrestleMania would be amazing. Awesome main event between Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho, I liked how Jericho still looked strong in defeat with a competitive match. Lastly, fantastic and passionate segment from Vince McMahon and Mick Foley to close out the show. Stone Cold making the save for Foley was awesome, looking forward to how this plays out on SmackDown. Overall, this was a fine episode overall for a starting point, I’m excited for the future of this diary and how WCW will turn out.

WWF SmackDown! - Thursday 14th December 2000 The Altel Arena - Little Rock, AR
- Another replay from the brutal Hell in a Cell match at Armageddon aired, with sound bytes from Mick Foley announcing his plan to resign if anyone was injured. Vince McMahon was then heard, revealing Rikishi, Triple H, the Undertaker and the Rock's injuries. Clips of the dramatic meeting from RAW is WAR is shown, where Foley and McMahon questioned each others' trust. Foley let loose on the Chairman verbally, before the new WWF Champion hit the ring, Stone Cold Steve Austin giving McMahon a Stunner and holding Foley's job in standstill as RAW is WAR went off the air. The opening video package for SmackDown! aired, before we cut to the Altel Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas! Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed us to the show, promoting the main event as featuring a big match in Kurt Angle battling The Rock, and a huge opportunity for Edge to get a big victory, when he takes on the Undertaker; plus, Billy Gunn teams up with the Dudley Boyz to do battle with the Right to Censor!1) The APA and Too Cool def. T&A and Lo Down w/Trish Stratus and Tiger Ali Singh A dynamic eight-man tag team contest to kick things off tonight on SmackDown!, as the antics of Too Cool contrasted heavily with the intensity and powers of the Acolyte Protection Agency. Bradshaw and Faarooq wanted revenge on T&A for taking over their business in their absence, and it all came to a head this past Monday night on RAW is WAR, where T&A attacked the APA after they defeated Lo Down. Lo Down and T&A worked well together, as Grandmaster Sexay was trapped and worked over for the duration of this match. Sexay finally made the tag to Bradshaw, who cleared house, and it finally broke down to an eight man brawl. Bradshaw took Test out with the Clothesline From Hell, as Scotty 2 Hotty executed the Worm on Chaz, giving the APA and Too Cool the win.
The fans cheered as the APA's hands were raised in victory, and Bradshaw and Faarooq began to leave. They were then stopped by Too Cool, who requested that they dance with them! Bradshaw and Faarooq were hesitant, but they soon graced the goggles of Grandmaster Sexay and danced along with them to a big ovation, a dramatic beginning to SmackDown!
- In the backstage area, Mick Foley was shown with Debra, as the two were shown in Foley's concession stand. The two were discussing the consequences of what went down on Monday night after Debra's husband Stone Cold Steve Austin gave Vince McMahon a Stunner, interrupting McMahon's firing of the Commissioner - resulting in Austin deciding not to show up tonight. Suddenly, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley walked on-screen to boos, as Stephanie began to talk about Linda McMahon, and how stressed out she is from the recent divorce issued from her father. Steph talked about how difficult a time it is for the McMahon Family, and that she didn't want Mick to rile up her father Vince much more, because it would all propel back onto her mother Linda. Foley agreed, telling Stephanie that he wasn't doing this for her, or for Vince, but because of the amount of respect he has for her mother, Linda. Stephanie thanked Mick before leaving.
Commercial Break
- In the backstage area, Edge and Christian were shown still reeling over their recent success, having reclaimed the WWF Tag Team Championships for a forth time last Sunday at Armageddon, followed up by a huge victory on RAW this past Monday, defeating The Rock and The Undertaker. Their celebratory remarks were then halted by the arrival of the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. The crowd booed furiously, as the former World Wrestling Federation Champion said he couldn't believe the bad luck he's been having lately. Angle talked about how he was unfairly tested in the Hell in a Cell match, and lost to a dumb, beer-swelling maniac, but then he gets punished for voicing his political opinion on Commissioner Foley as well? Angle questioned the logic, before telling Edge and Christian that he may have a match tonight - but being the great standup guy that he is, he's going to help Edge out, and teach the Undertaker another lesson tonight! Edge and Christian responded optimistically, as the three discussed a strategy for the match.2) Crash Holly w/Molly Holly def. Tazz in a Hardcore match This began at Armageddon last Sunday, where Raven was responsible for Hardcore Holly being unsuccessful in challenging William Regal for his WWF European Championship. Poised for revenge, Hardcore took on Raven on RAW, just for Tazz to interfere, attacking Crash in the process. This lead to this hardcore match tonight, as these two brawled through the crowd and used a trash can and a stop sign before Tazz locked in the Tazzmission at ringside - just for Hardcore Holly to run out to ringside, slamming a 2x4 over the head of Tazz! Tazz tumbled onto the announce table, and Crash was laid on top of him for three!Hardcore helped up his cousin, as the Holly Cousins were finally able to gain some retribution on Raven's associate Tazz tonight on SmackDown! Tazz remained laid out on the announce table, as Jerry Lawler laughed at the unconscious Tazz. Raven soon came out to the rampway and taunted the Hollys, as Hardcore was still seeking retribution on the man that cost him the WWF European Championship!- In the backstage area, Taka Michinoku and Sho Funaki of Kaientai were shown talking in Japanese to one another, as Jerry Lawler comically asked for subtitles so that we could understand what they were saying. With that, the so-called "Good Will Ambassador" of the World Wrestling Federation, William Regal appeared, Regal dressing down Kaientai for speaking in Japanese! Regal told the two that they were in the WWF, and they're obsessed with wearing blue, and making complete pratts out of themselves! The WWF European Champion told the two that he thinks the WWF needs more dignity, and it's all pinpointed by Commissioner Mick Foley. Regal told the two that he was going to have some serious words with the Commissioner. With that, Regal left. Kaientai didn't seem to understand a word that Regal was saying!Commercial Break
- The Rock was soon seen lurking the corridor, as the "Great One" seemed to be in a good mood, greeting his peers in the corridor. Rock soon stopped dead in his tracks however, as he encountered the Undertaker - his partner, and the man that he gave a Rock Bottom last Monday night. The Undertaker didn't wait a second, asking Rock what he was doing taking him out last Monday night. Rock simply told 'Taker that he feels like he needed some discipline. The "American Badass" shrugged, telling Rock that he doesn't think that someone that has only been in the WWF for four years can say that to a ten year veteran like himself. Rock smirked, wishing the "Deadman" luck tonight. Undertaker responded, saying that he didn't need luck.- The theme of the Right to Censor hit, as the fans immediately began to boo, Steven Richards and Ivory making their way out to the ring. A replay aired, reviewing the despicable actions of the RTC as of late, when on RAW is WAR this past Monday, Chyna called out the WWF Women's Champion Ivory to a match - and in response received a Steven Kick from Richards, which sent Chyna to the hospital. Richards immediately took a microphone, talking about how people do not agree with man on woman violence, and he certainly doesn't condone it either - however, he felt that it was necessary for his voice to be heard last Monday night, and so he did what he had to do to send a message to the Playboy model. Richards talked about how Chyna's conduct was degrading and discriminating the WWF for all of the younger viewers, and for that she is no role model like himself or Ivory. Ivory said how she wanted to send a message to her, and how she'd happily take her on, without a doubt. But she wanted Chyna to know exactly what she was doing, and make her feel the pain that the fans are feeling whenever they look at her sexualized, putrid figure in a horny magazine. Ivory claimed that they want to fight the good fight, because they are Right to Censor.3) WWF Women's Champion Ivory w/Steven Richards def. The Kat Jerry Lawler was obviously still upset about what happened last Monday night, as he continued to heckle Steven Richards as he paraded around ringside during this match. The Kat was appearing for the first time in quite a while, here to defend her former mentor, Chyna against the Right to Censor. Kat, a well-known exhibitionist behind the scenes, didn't agree with the RTC's methods, and so she went right into it against the WWF Women's Champion, perhaps to gain retribution or simply earn herself a future shot at the WWF Women's Championship. Richards' persistent distraction wouldn't allow that to be, however, as Ivory soon managed to catch Kat off guard with the neckbreaker for three. The crowd booed, as Ivory picked up the victory tonight on UPN's SmackDown! Steven Richards joined Ivory in the ring, as the two members of the Right to Censor taunted in the ring over the submissive body of the Kat. Jerry Lawler continued to voice his disdain for this faction, hoping that Billy Gunn and the Dudley Boyz showed the RTC no mercy in the tables match later on.In the backstage area, Vince McMahon was shown in his office with Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, as the Chairman talked about how he fought hard for this marriage, he really did - but much like Mick Foley as Commissioner, it still failed. Patterson and Brisco tried to question their longtime boss about the divorce, about wanting to break up a thirty-four year old marriage. McMahon told the two that he didn't want to discuss it right now. McMahon then ordered the Stooges to go and tell Mick Foley that he was planning on confronting him in the ring on RAW this Monday. As they left however, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley appeared, wanting to discuss this divorce with her father. Stephanie questioned why Vince wanted to break up with her mother all because she agreed with Mick Foley over him. The Chairman undermined his daughter, telling Steph that it was none of her business. Stephanie insisted to talk about it, but McMahon told her firmly that he wouldn't discuss it. Stephanie got angrier, telling her father that if he wouldn't discuss it in private, because he likes the public attention, maybe he'd discuss it in public, in the ring! McMahon-Helmsley stormed out, as Vince simply shook his head.Commercial Break
- An advertisement aired, featuring Minnesota Governer Jesse Ventura, who promoted the debut of the XFL's first season, launching February 2001.
- We returned to SmackDown!, as the theme of Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley was playing, the daughter of the Chairman making her way down to the ring, obviously looking quite distressed. A mixed reaction for the wife of injured WWF superstar Triple H, Stephanie told the fans that she wasn't out here to win anyone's attention, he wasn't here to do anything for anyone, but for her sick mother Linda. McMahon-Helmsley talked about how Vince McMahon divorced his wife and her mother of thirty-four years, all because of what seemed to be a disagreement over the decision to hold a six-man Hell in a Cell match back at Armageddon. Stephanie talked about how she loves her family - she may not have shown it over the past year, but she really does. They may be dysfunctional, in fact extremely dysfunctional, but they are a unity of intelligent minds, and a family with strong will for survival - but that doesn't seem to be so clear with her father. Stephanie called her father by name, demanding that Vince McMahon come out here and answer her, demanding to know if he even feels remorse that her mother Linda has had a breakdown and grown unwell since last Thursday night. The fans cheered, as Stephanie seemed to be in the position to glue her family back together, but there was no sign of her father. Stephanie continued to talk, asking how it felt to be a billionaire, but a billionaire that may not be a billionaire for much longer, should he go through with this big divorce. Stephanie reminded Vince that he may not be so successful without his wife, because she is what strengthens his weaknesses. McMahon-Helmsley vowed to continue to disparage and expose his father as the fraud that he is, should he not come out to the ring right now. At last, the theme of the Chairman hit, and Mr McMahon himself walked down the rampway, not looking the least bit impressed with his daughter. McMahon stood in the ring before Stephanie, the boss' daughter not backing down from him. Stephanie told Vince that she was her own woman, not another toy for McMahon to screw with. Vince smirked, asking if her daughter was all grown up now. Vince laughed, reminding Stephanie of the time she decided to go and stab him in the back, and try to hijack his company from him through her husband, Triple H. Vince reminded us of when Stephanie decided to turn her back on these fans in exchange for power, for Triple H - and he may accept Hunter happily as his son-in-law, but it doesn't replace the fact that she hasn't truly grown up at all. She wants to make a huge scene of a private affair, and she has no power at all in coming out here and telling him, her father, the boss what to do! Because Stephanie is still "Daddy's Little Girl". McMahon reminded her of how Shane has at least tried to make do with himself, he's grown up - he's a former WWF European and Hardcore Champion, he's helped him out. But Stephanie...she's done nothing for him! Vince told Stephanie that he supposes that she is a lot like her mother...that she's a bitch! McMahon-Helmsley was shocked by these words, as the crowd booed louder, as Steph broke down in tears. Vince told her to get out of his sight, before Stephanie left the ring and walked up the rampway, "Daddy's Little Girl" dressed down! Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler were in awe over what Vince had said to his daughter.
- Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley walked through the backstage corridor, obviously still in tears over what her own father had said to her. McMahon-Helmsley stormed through Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, who watched her leave, and they did not look pleased with what the Chairman had said to his own flesh and blood, much like he did his wife Linda last Thursday!
Commercial Break
- Returning to SmackDown!, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler showed us footage from during the break of Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley was shown getting into her car and driving away from the Altel Arena shortly after being dressed down and dismissed as a bitch by her father, Mr McMahon.4) The Undertaker def. WWF Tag Team Champion Edge w/Christian by disqualification The WWF Tag Team Champions were rolling going up to this, Edge and Christian having won the titles for a fourth time last Sunday at Armageddon, before getting a massive victory against the Undertaker and the Rock last Monday night on RAW is WAR - but this was the "American Badass"s chance for revenge, and the youngster Edge's best opportunity to gain another huge victory to his young career - by taking on the "Deadman". Edge tried to fight with 'Taker heads on at first, but the veteran used his experience to get far ahead of Edge, going to deliver a Chokeslam just for the persistent Christian to interfere. He ran into the Chokeslam as well, however, and the Undertaker gave both men a Chokeslam! The "Deadman" then attempted to cover Edge, just for Kurt Angle to rush out to the ring, the former WWF Champion getting on the apron just for the Undertaker to give him a big boot for his troubles! The "Deadman" then prepared for the Last Ride on Edge, but instead Angle rolled inside and low blowed the Undertaker from behind! The referee signalled for the bell, as Kurt Angle followed up with an Angle Slam for the Undertaker, as Angle was joined by the WWF Tag Team Champions, Edge and Christian in the ring, the trio laying a beatdown into the "Deadman"! Angle, Edge and Christian then began to celebrate afterwards, before Chris Jericho suddenly hit the scene, Y2J sliding into the ring and scaring off the Olympic Gold Medalist and his cronies! Jericho aided to the Undertaker as The Rock was shown looking on from a backstage monitor. This should surely ire up the "American Badass".
- An advertisement aired, promoting the next WWF pay-per-view extravaganza, the Royal Rumble, live on Sunday, January 21, 2001.
- In the backstage area, Mick Foley was shown unpacking his boxes this time it seemed, as the Commissioner appeared to be here to stay after all! Foley was then interrupted by Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, as the Stooges were here to tell Foley about Vince McMahon's wishes to meet him again in the ring this Monday night. Foley dropped his boxes before telling Patterson and Brisco that he plans to, but what he plans to do when he meets Vince in that ring is explain his reprehensible behavior tonight, he's tearing his family apart, and he's tearing his company apart as well - and he's damn sick of it! Foley stormed away, as the Stooges were left in awe.

5) The Right To Censor w/Steven Richards def. Billy Gunn & The Dudley Boyz The Dudley Boyz have recently viewed the Right to Censor as being a thorn in their side, wanting them to abandon their table-breaking antics and soldier-like personalities for a greener pasture, in the life of the RTC. Bull Buchanan, the Goodfather and Val were led by Steven Richards in this one, as Richards joined Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler at ringside, obviously irritating the "King" throughout this match. Billy Gunn wanted revenge on the RTC for what Steven Richards did to his girlfriend Chyna last Monday night, giving her an apparent concussion from the Steven Kick. "The One" immediately tried to go after Richards, but Goodfather and Buchanan tamed Gunn, wearing him down as D-Von and Bubba Ray continued to urge for the tag. Eventually it happened, and all hell broke loose, as D-Von and Bubba Ray cleared house of the RTC. Richards soon slipped into the ring preparing for the Steven Kick on D-Von Dudley, but instead froze up, and the leader walked right into a 3D! D-Von was ordered to get the tables by Bubba, but instead D-Von walked into an attack at ringside from Val Venis and Bull Buchanan, as the Goodfather laid Bubba Ray out with a death valley driver for the victory! The fans in Little Rock couldn't believe it, as the Right to Censor were having an excellent night tonight, first with Ivory defeating the Kat, then with Steven Richards irritating Jerry "The King" Lawler on commentary, and then with a victory over the Dudley Boyz and Billy Gunn! Gunn couldn't believe what he had just seen, as "The One" picked up a steel chair from the announce table and hit the ring, nailing the Goodfather right in the spine with it! Gunn followed up with a shot to the skull, as the RTC bailed! The Goodfather was down and hurt, but Gunn was still angry and after more following the assault on his girlfriend Chyna last Monday!
- Returning to the backstage area, Kurt Angle was shown with Edge and Christian at the concession stand, seemingly here to confront Mick Foley. The Commissioner asked the trio what they wanted, seemingly disgruntled still after being aggravated by the comments made by Vince McMahon earlier, and his ice cold treatment towards his own daughter Stephanie. Angle told Foley that since Foley appears to be here to stay, and with Vince McMahon being so busy lately, he's decided to turn to his pathetic standing as reigning Commissioner and demand a rematch for the World Wrestling Federation Championship with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Mick asked Angle if he was serious, talking about how Angle ran him down last Monday night - and now he wants a rematch? Mick told Angle that he had other plans in mind, in fact, it'd be a fun one, because with all of the competition recently over the WWF Championship held by Stone Cold who unfortunately isn't here tonight, this Monday night on RAW we will see Kurt Angle take on The Undertaker, Chris Jericho and The Rock - and the winner of that match? Will go on to face Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship at the Royal Rumble on January 21st. Angle told Foley that he was crazy to do that, wanting to instead revoke his rematch clause instead! Foley smiled, telling Angle that that's all he can help with him, telling Angle to have a nice day! Angle yelled that he hated Foley, Angle, Edge and Christian walking away.
Commercial Break
6) Jeff Hardy w/Matt Hardy & Lita def. Eddie Guerrero w/Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko Team Xtreme weren't successful last Monday night on RAW is WAR, where they fell in defeat to the Radicalz, but Jeff Hardy had an opportunity for revenge against Eddie Guerrero of the Radicalz, as Lita continued to glare at WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Dean Malenko, Malenko being the married man happy enough to try and pursue Lita, becoming obsessed with her - just to assault her last Sunday at Armageddon. Additionally, "Latino Heat" and Malenko did not see eye-to-eye still after their argument last Monday night, and so Chris Benoit was at ringside acting as the peacemaker. Jeff Hardy exchanged an array of aerial attacks on Guerrero, but Eddie being the world-class athlete himself began to match that, as Matt and Benoit cheered on their respective teammate. Guerrero worked away at Hardy, when all of a sudden Lita came off the steel steps with the Litacanrana on Dean Malenko! This allowed Matt to then jump Chris Benoit, and just when Guerrero was up going for the Frog Splash, Hardy crotched Guerrero, then came off the top with a hurricanrana to Guerrero, giving Jeff the victory! The fans roared as Jeff's hand was raised in victory, the Hardy Boyz and Lita then celebrating their big victory tonight over Eddie Guerrero with the Radicalz! Chris Benoit was fuming, and it was obvious, as Dean Malenko seemed to simply laugh at "Latino Heat"s great string of misfortune! Eddie and Dean had a tiny shoving contest and exchanged words before leaving.
- An advertisement aired, promoting WWF Sunday Night Heat this Sunday, scheduled to feature special guest, Trish Stratus! Heat airs this Sunday night from 6/5 CT, exclusive to MTV.
- Mick Foley was shown sat in his office talking to Al Snow, as the Commissioner expressed his disbelief for what Vince McMahon said about his daughter, Stephanie. Mick told Al that what he said to the Chairman last Monday was just a taste of things to come this Monday. Suddenly, William Regal appeared, the WWF European Champion telling Foley that he wanted the Commissioner to know that he believes that he is doing a terrible job running things as the Commissioner - he's not getting booked to compete and show why he is the best wrestler universally on WWF television; he's got bloody idiots running around backstage that don't understand any amount of etiquette or even the English language; and he's giving the World Wrestling Federation a bad name. Al Snow then got out of his seat, telling Regal that ever since he dethroned him as WWF European Champion upon arriving in the WWF, he hasn't liked him, but when Regal wants to pick a fight with his best friend, Mick Foley; then they're playing with fire. Snow told Regal that if he was upset about not getting a match, then he'd get one - soonafter telling him to meet him in the ring! Regal told Snow that he'd love to kick his arse one more time.
- Meanwhile, in the office of Mr McMahon, the Chairman was shown talking to his Stooges about how he plans for Mick Foley to resign as Commissioner once and for all, for Linda and Stephanie to no longer be in his way of running business around the WWF, and how he plans to get rid of Stone Cold Steve Austin as WWF Champion. Patterson and Brisco then told Vince that they did not agree with what he was doing, and so they are deciding to hand in their own resignations and walk away from the World Wrestling Federation because they have finally had enough of the Chairman's actions and conduct towards his employees and more importantly, his family! Patterson and Brisco left to a fanfare, as McMahon pleaded for them to not leave! The comments to Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley have seemingly caused a revolt in management!
Commercial Break
- An advertisement aired, promoting WWF RAW is WAR this Monday night, scheduled to see Vince McMahon call out Mick Foley for another verbal conflict; Kurt Angle, The Rock, Chris Jericho and The Undertaker fight it out for a shot at the WWF Championship; plus, Stone Cold Steve Austin will be back as new WWF Champion. RAW is WAR airs on Monday night from 9/8 CT, only on TNN.
7) WWF European Champion William Regal def. Al Snow The former WWF European Champion took on the "Good Will Ambassador" William Regal tonight in non-title action, simply to teach the snob from Liverpool, England a lesson in respecting Snow's good friend, Commissioner Foley. Snow started off by showing fire, pounding away at Regal, but Snow's eagerness potentially cost the former WWF Hardcore Champion, and Regal began to pound away at Snow after raking the eyes of Snow. Regal used dirty tactics to get ahead, as Regal continued to use clenched fists and stiff uppercuts, even taking Snow down with a knee to the face - Snow's eye seemingly bruised from this. Regal continued to deliver an array of body shots to Snow before setting up for the Regal Stretch, but Snow managed to slip out of it and fight back, attempting the Snow Plow...but Regal slipped out and rolled him up with the tights, getting a three count! The WWF European Champion's hand was raised in victory, as William Regal was victorious in his outing tonight on SmackDown!, not learning a lesson for disrespecting the authority of Commissioner Mick Foley. Regal then picked up a microphone and declared to everyone that he was happy to announce his confidence in a new World Wrestling Federation, free of buffoons, imbeciles and toerags like Al Snow, like Mick Foley, and like Stone Cold Steve Austin! Regal said that he was confident that after RAW is WAR on Monday, Vince McMahon would be able to finally take back his company and allow Regal to stretch his wings as one of the greatest universal superstars that this once-great organization had to offer! Regal waved, as his obnoxiousness continued to alienate the fans in Little Rock.
The cameras then cut to the Rock, as the "Great One" was shown standing by with a microphone in hand, the Rock scheduled to talk before his big match against Kurt Angle coming up! The fans in Little Rock went nuts for the "Brahma Bull", chanting his name. Rock began to talk about what a wild week it has been in the World Wrestling Federation as always - we get a new WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, we get a former WWF Champion Kurt Angle running his mouth, making out that everybody except from him is a jabroni - and somewhere in all of this, Vince McMahon is calling his little daughter Stephanie that she's a bitch! The fans cheered, as Rock continued to talk about Kurt Angle, how tonight he was ready to layeth the SmackDown on Angle's candy ass, because he doesn't want to stop talking and talking about how he's so great - but if he was so great, he clearly hasn't been in the ring with the "Great One"! Rock soon went to finish his sentence...just for the Undertaker to appear! The Undertaker wished Rock luck, before leaving once more. Rock delivered his catchphrase and left for the ring, prepared for action, next!
Commercial Break
8) Kurt Angle def. The Rock The Olympic Gold Medalist had a successful night earlier on, as he was able to help his buddy Edge out, alongside Christian, and beat down the Undertaker - a man that has had an uncertain relationship of oneupmanship in recent weeks with the "Great One" The Rock. Rock seemed to disrespect the "American Badass" earlier tonight, and added another insult to injury by not helping the "Deadman" fend off Angle, Edge and Christian - instead Chris Jericho did, these four men scheduled to meet on Monday night on RAW to determine a new contender to the WWF Championship! Angle and Rock exchanged blows, as Angle immediately began to target the ankle of the "Brahma Bull", just for Rock to begin making a meteoric rise, mounting a comeback against the former WWF Champion! Rock took down Angle with the clotheslines as well as a spinebuster - and this set up perfectly for the People's Elbow - but Angle managed to trick Rock, by playing possum and taking Rock out with the belly-to-belly overhead suplex! Angle attempted the Angle Slam, but Rock reversed it and connected with a DDT, as Rock was here tonight to win! Rock soon anticipated the Rock Bottom, but Edge and Christian arrived at ringside! The WWF Tag Team Champions tried to distract Rock, but Rock took Christian off the apron! Edge meanwhile remained, as Rock managed to nail Angle with the Rock Bottom successfully - without a referee. The referee was tied up with Edge, and Rock and Edge soon exchanged words - all during this, the Undertaker hit the ring to nail Rock with a big Chokeslam! The Undertaker soon left, having given Rock his comeuppance for the disrespect last Monday! Angle soon rolled over Rock, and that was it!
The crowd booed as Kurt Angle was barely able to move after such a competitive match tonight on SmackDown! The Undertaker stood tall over the Rock, as he seemed more content with himself for having gained a measure of retribution on The Rock! The Undertaker then grabbed the groggy Olympic Gold Medalist by the throat and delivered a Chokeslam to him as well! The "Deadman" was then jumped by Edge and Christian, as the WWF Tag Team Champions pounded into the "American Badass" in the corner. Edge and Christian seemed to be going for the Conchairto - but for the second time tonight, Chris Jericho made the save for the Undertaker! Y2J took one of the chairs and nailed Christian in the spine with it! Edge cowered out of the ring, but taking the eye off of the ballgame led to Y2J's downfall, as the Undertaker quickly connected with the Chokeslam to Jericho as well! Bodies were broken and laid out everywhere, as the Undertaker had taken out his three opponents for RAW this Monday! The Undertaker meant business, and he wanted that WWF Championship around his waist! SmackDown! went off the air.
