Anyone else on the boards end up ordering the McFarlane Undertaker figure/statue? Just thought I'd see if anyone else was as insane as I am to spend $300 on one figure, lol ... I couldn't pass it up. I really like the detailed/larger figures like Unmatched Fury ... and the prospect of some more legends in this mold seem really enticing.

I ordered one from WWEshop. I was hoping they had the signed version on the website but they didn't.

The real question is, how many people actually have the money to order it?

It does look sweet. However, I'd have assumed that they would have opted for full on ministry style, due to the gothic image. I haven't read much about it so for all I know, more variants may follow.

marklud Do you have the Undertaker bust statue that came in the Hell In A Cell box set? It's pretty detailed. I've only seen it in person once.

^ If it's that limited, I'd keep it in the box. Don't open it dude, you'd end up regretting it. Just like I do with all my WWF LJN figures like The Ultimate Warrior and Hart Foundation tag-team. Geez, limited to only 750?? Come on, why would you open it if it's that limited?? Especially after paying $300 for it??
If you keep it sealed, the value of it can only go up. If I had it, I wouldn't open it. But hey, it's your figure. Do what you with it. I can only state my opinion.

From my childhood to now I've had so many figures, especially the hasbros and the ljn that I wish I had kept sealed. As you can see it still displays quite nicely in the box.

Yea keep it in the box. That value will sky rocket once the dead man is finally done.

Seems silly to pay that much just for a box.

Seems silly to pay that much just for a box. Open it up, man! Hard to enjoy it when you can't even see it through the box. I just got mine in the mail and opened it up, and this thing is HUGE!! I'll try to post a picture when I get a chance ... Mark

Seems silly to pay that much just for a box. He's not just paying that much just for a box, come on, be serious. He's paying that much for a VERY limited and rare statue, which he could quite possibly turn around and sell and make 3 or 4 times what he paid for it. I'm sure it displays just as well in the box, as it does out. As of right now, the value of that statue is what he paid for it. As soon as he opens it, it goes down. Can't argue that. Packaged or boxed figures/statues are worth more sealed than opened. He doesn't need to open it to enjoy it.

Mark Well, that's one less boxed statue in the world making his sealed one more rare. I get it, trust me. But in this case you can't even see the figure unless you open the box. There's no window or anything. So unless you're strictly buying it for value and not enjoyment -- which is anyone's right -- you can't even view the figure unless you open it. That's all ... I do think it could be smart to keep it in the box considering it's value. Mark
