For once I didn't fall asleep while Borton was on the mic. I enjoyed his promo tonight and thought it was his best in about as long as I can remember. Cena was solid too. I actually enjoyed the whole thing. Everyone taking turns on each other at the end reminded me of the Attitude Era a little bit.

I didn't fall asleep because I enjoyed the show overall so I was not bored out of my mind the last 15 minutes.

I fell asleep. Orton knew how to talk back in 03. Not sure how he went from my one time favorite wrestler/Idol as a kid. To being this boring one dimensional tool. Him and Cena were a bore fest. That crowd made the entire segment. Let's hope more crowds do this so we can finally get ourselves a deserving main event player. Who earned it.

First time I actually really enjoyed the last 10 minutes of Raw, when a Cena vs. Orton is being hyped.

All I remember was Orton yelling at Bret and Shawn and Cena sucking Bryan's ass to get cheered.

Cena makes Orton look like a rookie on the mic. Orton has horrible delivery and you can tell he stays to script completely because just about everything he says is utterly boring.

I was there too...there was a real passion in the crowd. It was a VERY fun environment to be a part of. And, though I know it won't be popular here, I gotta say, Cena is a genius. I fully believe he improvised bringing Bryan into that last segment...we were ravenous for him in Seattle tonight, and it really seemed as though Hunter and Orton were at a loss as to how to salvage the segment, but Cena brought it all home. He went up a fair bit in my books tonight, that's for sure.
Very fun night (and crowd) to be a part of.

Although it was a great promo from Randy Orton, I don’t think it was because of his delivery, but more because of the content. His topic points were the WWE Championship, the World Championship, and former WWE / World Champions. It could have been Doink the Clown up there in the ring. If he was talking about the industry’s top 2 prizes and the Hall Of Famers / Legends / SuperStars who have held the top 2 Titles, we would all still sit and listen to what he has to say.

Excellent segment to end the show, marked out to hell when Punk hit Triple H and again with the Knee to shawn michaels.

Cena makes Orton look like a rookie on the mic. Orton has horrible delivery and you can tell he stays to script completely because just about everything he says is utterly boring. I wildly disagree with that. Orton is just as good on the mic as Cena, when he wants to be. Cena is average on the mic, but he can have great moments. Last night was an example of that but both their characters are stale as . Orton's promos are stale because he's mostly just out there collecting a paycheck and going through the motions. Cena's stale because he actually buys into his own Saturday morning cartoon superhero schtick and won't change what he's doing. However, when Orton's egomaniac comes out, the version of his character that seems most relatable to his own personality, and when Cena's w*gger thug comes out, the version of his character that seems most relatable to his own personality, they can both have great moments on the mic. Legend Killer Orton and Thuganomics Cena were both great characters imo, and when elements of those two characters come out in either guy it's a welcome surprise. That being said, I could give two sh*ts about this match. The only reason I care about the outcome is because I want to know who is going to be in the WWE Title match at Mania. I hope Orton beats Cena at TLC so that we can see Daniel Bryan or CM Punk face the "Unified" Champion (LMFAO) at Mania.

I've noticed Orton's mic skills have shown measurable improvement over the last few months - someone must have finally gotten through to him.
I missed the last part of the end segment, I only set the DVR to record 14 minutes extra - it was not enough. I'll try to catch the replay on UHD on the weekend.

Last night's RAW sucked. I mean what was with the award format this year? Presenting "Superstars Of The Year" in the middle of the show instead of towards the end. I for one definitely didn't enjoy RAW last night.

Orton has always been as capable as Cena on the mic. He's not blessed with magic on the mic but when he gets going, he's as good as anyone. My faves were the Adamle assignment which was years ago now and the Vince punt promo of course. He's not been fueled with the right story at times and he himself fails to provide the extra emotion to things when the story devices are not present. But Cena is also guilty of those faults.

I could've swore I heard that great Seattle crowd chanting "boring" while Orton spoke.
