My thoughts are the alluding to the Feeny is dead? Feeny Poster & cameo=epic Farkle= absolute trash 1st episode and they are already ripping off past storyline elements & watering them down poorly from Boy Meets World....Maya voicing her reasoning for not wanting to do her homework was like the episode of BMW where corey refused to take a test after reading the grapes of wrath in tuners class maya setting off the sprinkler system= shawn cherry bombing the mailbox......the least they could've done was when corey was telling her she was going to far was reference that he had a friend when we was younger that would do things like that Yes I think Feeny is dead.Couldn't agree more about Farkle, and everything else you said.

Really? That's actually good. TBH though my real gripe was Finkus, he was just utterly awful, if they wrote him out it might improve. And that Boy Meets world was funny without Cory climbing all over Mr Feeny, but maybe that's more a sign of the times. Sister Sister was good, but I did prefer Smart Guy. And smart guys another classic. What happened to all of the Mowrey siblings?? Tia is on a another tv show called "Instant Mom" which plays on Nick. Tamera is going to star in an upcoming talk show called "The Real" something like the view Coming on BET this fall Tahj is currently on a tv show called "Baby Daddy" on ABC Family its actually a pretty funny show.

I can't believe I missed the first episode! I really dropped the ball. I'm going to have to catch the replay.

Can't say I enjoyed the first episode all that much. I knew it was going to be a bit more geared toward kids than Boy Meets World was, of course, but, eh.

What worries me the most about this show is that since it's on Disney channel it will never really have the opportunity to mature as the kids grow older due to the channel restrictions.
I really wish it was on ABC Family instead.

I don't know if things have changed in recent years, but I want to say Disney has a 60 episode limit on all of their originals.

Hopefully the show gets a "trial run" on Disney and then gets moved to ABC Family as the kids get older.

Phineas and Ferb had 123.5 episodes... It was 65 episodes, and it looks like they've stopped doing it. Still strange to me that it was ever really a thing. disney.wikia.com/wiki/65th_Episode_Rule

Just saw the 2nd episode.
A few changes and the show could actually be decent. There's a lot of crap in it though.

I watched the first few episodes on Youtube. It's decent. I'll probably try to keep up with it, but it's nowhere near the same level as the original show. Like any Disney Channel show, the acting of the younger stars is not organic. The comedy is very forced, especially with Farkle and Maya. Farkle made me laugh, but I'm not sure if that's just because he's the son of Minkus that somehow ended up in NYC where Cory and Topanga ended up. The show is essentially a water-down gender flip of Boy Meets World. Also, Cory is a terrible teacher. Kids are standing up and fighting with each other in class and he just continues his lesson or sit down in the corner quietly while they go about their business. Cory and Topanga are the best part of the show though.
