does anyone else think now that since we have combined the championship belts its time for a new belt, retire the wwe and world heavyweight belt and make a new wwe world heavyweight title. what do you guys think?

Absolutely. I know the people who just bought replicas don't want to hear this, but I hate the idea of one guy carrying around two belts. They need to pick one design over the other or go with a new title altogether. I think a new title makes the most sense for the Raw after Mania.

if they aren't going to use it, its time to fully retire the WHC belt. and just go with the WWE belt.

I'd like them to just use the WWE Championship now and call it just that.
I'll miss the World Heavyweight Championship for it's design (minus that stupid red backing they put on it since the title's prestige dropped), but they aren't going to pick that over the WWE title, and the current WWE title isn't bad.

I kinda want a new title just to see how mad everyone gets who spent 400 bucks on a replica that was in WWE less than a year. I know, I'm mean as hell.

I would like to see one belt instead of two. I think they could keep the current WWE belt design but use this as an opportunity to put something behind the big logo instead of the plain black leather. There were some interesting photoshopped designs posted here a year ago that looked good.

I think they should merge certain aspects of the WHC into the WWE Belt design. The main plate still has all that black leather showing through, put the parts of the main plate from the WHC behind the big W and change the white stones red to represent the red rubies from the WHC.

Seeing as how we're apparently getting a new WWE logo, just keep the big gold belt, recast it with the new logo on the top instead of the scratch and keep that belt. Its by far the most iconic belt in wrestling....no reason to just let it go.

They need to keep the WWE as it's new, but they need one belt. They're calling it the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but there's two belts. The guy is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but it's not the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Either keep the WWE and dump the WHC or make a mix of both.

If they get a new logo like people think, there's gonna be a new title, or at the very least an updated and different version of the current title, so there's gonna be something new either way unless they keep the World Title, which is my personal choise.

Which is probably why Randy always have the Big Logo belt over the Big Gold on his shoulder as evident on both RAW and Smackdown. If it stays this way, the Big Gold will slowly be phased out and the Big Logo would be the one that represents the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Carrying two belts just looks too awkward and a handful...  |

I like many of the elements of the WWE title, but that f-ing logo is way too big. I love the shape though and I like the ides of the interchangeable side-plate, but I'd love to see the logo just a little smaller and somehow add a globe or eagle or as a nod to the big gold, a crown.
