Hey guys,
I was just wondering.. I'm starting to run out of wall space for my MOC figure and the only space available would be near the window and near the heaters. Will hanging MOC figures in these areas ruin the shape of them? I'm afraid that the moisture and cold from the windows and then the heat from the heaters would ruin them, but do they actually? And if so, how far should I keep them away from a window and from a heater?
Thanks in advance!!

I would be scared because of moisture. I would at lead have them 3 in away from heater and windows if it was mine.

I would probably do 4 inches away from a window and about 8 inches away from a heating vent, but honestly that's just my instincts.

I know for sure something. If I leave a figure in the trunk of my car for about a day or so in the winter, the figure is really tough to move when I take it out of the packaging. If your keeping it moc though, I don't think the cold will affect it but idk for sure

Depending on the figure u are hanging or rather the packaging u also run the risk of the glue melting and the plastic part falling off the card. This will happen when the figures heat up to much, so both the near the heater and the window might cause this issue. Also, the carding will fade if its in direct sun light. You may need to consider getting a shelving system and stand the figures side by side. It will add space and will still allow u to display them. Good luck, but if I was you, avoid the heating and directly over the window, u will simply ruin the figs

But champ I think you should be okay as long as the figures are not too close to the heating vents.

Thanks for all the input so far guys. Really helped! As for a shelf, I'd do that, but I have no more room for one which is why I have to use the wall.

I'd say a feet or two from the window. about 3 feet over the heater or next to or whatever.
